Although I am here for such a long time I am still missing one thing.
When your offense starts 2 minutes hurry up offense? Sometimes it comes even from own half, sometime don't even come. So is there any rule about that? Last edited on 2020-12-27 19:16:50 by Dumbarajko |

If you are behind max one score, your offense might hurry up automatically.

Same thing in first half where I was behind 24-6. Look at this game game. Hurry up in first half on 21-3. Or this one game 2. Down 34-20 in 4th, hurry up offense 1:17 to go in quarter. Might? That means it is not necessary to hurry up even when you are one score down? |

I think it is more like 1:30 hurry-up offense

Please keep in mind I dislike dipping into math details of the engine and game play. Unclear: If you are behind max one score, your offense might hurry up automatically. There are examples of two score down and hurry up offense. And you said MAX ONE score. So I did expect more because it is not up to one score. I am not looking deep into match details, I am not looking into engine... I am just wondering why sometimes there is hurry up offense and sometimes there is not? Because that shouldn't be a random factor, that should be a rule. Thanks in advance. |

Hurry up only kicks in if you are losing in the last 75 seconds of each half. Even before it was implemented I argued that both teams should hurry in the first half because even if you're leading at the half you should try to extend ypur lead but that was rejected. I also think it should kick in at 2min at least and maybe even be an option for managers to turn it on with 5 or 6 min left in each half if they want to. Downside could be increased fatigue and maybe slightly higher risk of turnover too.

Basically, it only happens in Q2 and Q4, in the last minutes, and if the ball carrying team is behind. And, please do not confuse "hurry up" mechanisms of the engine with playbook driven hurry-up. The hurry-up of the engine takes effect only if the clock is running between plays.

Would it be possible to add an automatic timeout at 2:00 in each half if certain conditions are met (like having the ball and losing for example) to make sure that the clock is faster during a full 2 minutes?
