Would it be possible to add an automatic timeout at 2:00 in each half if certain conditions are met (like having the ball and losing for example) to make sure that the clock is faster during a full 2 minutes?

It would certainly be beneficial to have a hurry up option. There is nothing more frustrating than seeing your team behind and knowing that you can do nothing about the play clock.

Perhaps it will be argued that managers could put this into theirplaybook but I feel it would be extremely tedious and complex doing it (almost) yard by yard. I have already mentioned that as an issue with the playbook where one cannot just choose <1 or <5 or whatever parameters you wish to set. That would save having scores of plays that were repetitive except for the yardage e.g. 1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-10 etc (or whatever the playbook says).

Just put a few long passes in there when you are behind by 14 and you will Hurry to an interception and the end of the game in a very quick fashion.

Or do you mean something else?

What determines how many plays until the end of a half?

I'm bit confused, I would have thought there was at least one more play in this half for a FG attempt, but 30 seconds ran out as a result of this play right before half-time.

What determines how many plays until the end of a half? I though it was changed to be more deterministic...

0:30 1 and 10 to go on opp 39, Rocky Belt (OC) snaps the ball to Timothy Packer (QB), Timothy Packer (QB) selected Dexter Langston (WR/L) as target, Anðelko Milatovic (MLB) seems to go for the blitz, Bogumił Czerwiński (FB/R) blocks, this inner left pass goes to the receiver, who catches the ball, Kazim Albrecht (CB/R) tackled him, forward progress: 10 yards, New first down (Shotgun 4 WR vs. 3-4-4) more

<end of half>

I thought there was supposed to be at least a :01-:15 second play so we could use that :15 playbook option to kick a FG.

If the OC sees a chance to reach a goal by hurry up, he will singal it to the QB. This happens during the last minutes of each half. it is automatic. The manager can control time consumption only by choosing pass or run.
