I know agility has a positive impact on all positions, but is there a benefit to training up Kickers and Punters with this skill?

I know I am a bit off the mark with my question, but it seems that the original is kind of finished. So why waste the space for headers and stuff
My kicker has kicked for 58 yards a few minutes ago. That's just 7 yards from the End Zone. Which is nice and dandy, but when I clicked on him (I am still not too familiar with my team, only 4 days in RZA, don't even remember their first names at the moment  ) expecting to see his kicking skill 48-ish or close - it turned out it's... hum hum.. 19.6 
Oh, and 16 agi probably doesn't help too much, either. So basically I want to ask - is it at all reasonable to train a kicker? Is kicking skill only important for Field Goal attempts? Or, which would be kind of a surprise - can very high STR affect it (or may be not a complete surprise? - just recall the goalies in, well, that _other_ football )? My kicker has got 49 or so.
On the side note, in case it's indeed one of the few non-differentiating factors in RZA (everyone gets more or less the same kicks, and lets be honest - kickoffs are when you rush to the fridge to get another beer, irl  ), is that the reason there is no average/longest kick stat in the match summary?
