What is the purpose of franchise contracts?
Anytime I've tried to lockdown a player onto one of these longer-term deals they've seemed to ask for quite a lot over their "asking price". |

At that moment they ask a lot more than actual salary is. But if you plan to train him like to 49 skills and franchise him while he is 40 it really pays off in next couple of seasons. So looks expensive at the moment but if you calculate for all franchise contract there will be a saving for sure, but only if you train him further. Last edited on 2021-01-24 16:20:44 by Dumbarajko |

You kind of have to anticipate how fast he'll reach those points as well. If he's gaining stats slowly, you shouldn't give him a franchise contract.
After a certain age, it's also not worth to do it. It's really good when you have a young, talented player, who you plan to keep as long as possible and you expect a fast ascension from him regarding stats. |

And you should look for the biggest amount you save.
So ginving one out for an average of 25 and he gains to 35 in that time is not as good as giving out at 35 and train him to 45, because of the wage system. |

I've regretted passing on guys early on, when wages aren't really an issue. I say go for it!
