Now that the season has come to an end. Let's see how well my predictions went!
AC AC East - Strongest AC division just a few seasons after being the weakest. Couldn't have been more incorrect with that assessment, but I was really close with the records, minus Rome. Willemstad Bridges 12-4 -> 12-4 Rome Centurions 10-6 -> 6-10 Norfolk Dumplings 8-8 ->7-9 Juggernaut 7-9 -> 7-9 AC North -Tough pulls with Sea Devils and Claymore. I thought PR Chaser would do well, as evidenced by my early ranking of them, but they really had an impressive season. TigerCats 10-6 -> 10-6 BoneCrushers 8-8 -> 8-8 PR Chaser 7-9 -> 11-5 BETIS SANPOL 2-14 -> 1-15 AC South -A free pair of wins will keep each team in the playoff race. Only off by 2 games in this one. Hell Hounds 10-6 -> 10-6 Diorite Lions 9-7 -> 10-6 Saker Falcons 8-8 -> 9-7 Helsinki Gangsters 0-16 -> 0-16 AC West -Magpies looking pretty solid right here. Can't say the same here, I was off on both Magpies and Mascots. BobBoy Magpies 13-3 ->11-5 Free Agent Mascots 8-8 ->10-6 Sønderborg 84-pounders 5-11 -> 6-10 Comeback Kids 0-16 -> 0-16 NC East -Will this be the winningest division ever? This was before the Runners decision to rebuild, so it looks pretty bad. I also didn't get any of the other teams placed correctly. DC Washingtonians 12-4 ->10-6 Baltimore Ravens 11-5 ->9-7 The Losing Ducks 10-6 -> 13-3 Social Distance Runners 9-7 -> 3-13 NC North -2 legitimate championship contenders and 2 still finding their footing. The winningest division on the season I really underestimated my own team while nailing the other 3. Salt City Pirates 14-2 -> 14-2 Home Malones 13-3 -> 13-3 Space Kraken 5-11 -> 9-7 Poznan Knights 3-13 -> 3-13 NC South -Can The Elephants fight off another charge and stick around again? They can, but next season the Terriers want their place back. San Diego Blitz 14-2 -> 13-3 Dumbarajko Elephants 8-8 -> 7-9 Bretzfeld Bandits 5-11 -> 4-12 2020 - RETURN OF THE JEDI 5-11 -> 7-9 NC West- Not great luck pulling the Sea Devil's + Magpies as the cross division opponents. Rio was the obvious surprise here. Chelt Nam Bobbers 12-4 -> 14-2 Werewolves 6-10 -> 5-11 Juggernaut Jackalopes 5-11 -> 4-12 Rio Stars 5-11 -> 10-6 Playoffs AC 1.Magpies 2.Bridges 3.TiCats over 6.Lions 5.Rome over 4. Hounds 1.Magpies over 5.Rome 2.Bridges over 3.Ticats 2.Bridges over 1.Magpies I got 4 of the 6 teams correct in the AC. PR Chaser's great season and Rome's troubles I didn't see coming. NC 1. Pirates 2. Blitz 6. Ravens over 3. Bobbers 4. DC over 5. Malones 1.Pirates over 6. Ravens 4. DC over 2. Blitz 1. Pirates over 2. DC Got 5/6 here, got the wrong Sea Devil. Ravens won the D1 bowl, had to go with them over the Ducks... I was very wrong. Championship 1.Pirates over 1.Bridges I'm sure no one is shocked if I say I still believe this one. |

Very wrong is a bit extrem. my games against DCW and Ravens were decided by 3, 5, 4 and 7 points. Add the first Ravens loss against the not rebuilding yet Runners and the ranking could have been very different. Luck has been on my side in the division. Hopefully it will continue to be on Tuesday. It is absolutely unacceptable to play an elite league game set on "RELAXED"...
Sure changes the draft from the very likely order it would have been. BS scheme to finish a BS season.

I agree with you that relaxing in Elite is not the proudest move. 
However in this case, even with a loss for your team, the draft order would most likely have been the same at the end. The Werewolves should have won by 31 to make you gain 1 rank in the draft order and won by even more for them to lose one. If Ceynwyn did it to tank for the draft, it was a very bad plan. Both for the game spirit and tactically. Now it is possible she did it knowing there will be little chance of an impact in the draft order and that losing a game in relaxed mode impacts less the moral loss. I would not have adviced it tho. At the end, her move had less impact on the PO/Draft picture than the decision to trim its roster before or during the season like Henry, Buzi or you did. It is a totally legit move but for sure it had way more impact than what happen yesterday. |

I dropped from 5 pick to 6 pick and it Looks like she gained a spot by tanking.
As for MY roster changes I have money issues and could not maintain my salaries with out a few playoff incomes... and my changes had little if any impact on the team I fielded. I made every effort at my disposal to win games. DO NOT DEFEND HER ACTIONS. Is BS and we all know it. It deserves a warning regardless if draft was effected or not. .NOTE{ Looks like Russia/Ukraine went hot. A Dam and a meat warehouse/factory experienced explosions. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. I believed liberty of speech was still a thing, especially in your country.
I do love getting yelled at what I should do or not, but only in German usually. 
Now I only expressed facts: 1/ To change the draft order compared to today it would have required a big win from the Werewolves (by 31 points to give you pick #5 and by 57 points for her to go from #8 to #9). Most likely it would not have happened. Maybe you would even have won the game anyway. You can do the math yourself if you do not believe me. 2/ No matter your reason, and again it was certainly legit, getting rid of key players during the season had most likely more impact that yesterday game. Again, I agree with you on the fact that using the relaxed mode in Elite goes against the spirit of the game. If pete decides to get rid of the feature I would be the first one to celebrate. Fortunately the move had no to very little impact. At the end it is even very probable that you get the players you want in the draft anyway. You even got more money in the process (sponsor + better stadium income for the next 10 games). I have a question now: did you want to lose this game? |
