Should INT not be high in Safeties to cause interceptions? And for RB for hole recognition? |

SF don't really get interceptions in this game. Intelligence is probably important for all players, but most seem to agree that it is not as important for running backs. In fact, surprisingly enough, I've seen plenty of posts on the board that say Positioning is even more important than Vision for running backs. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but you have to remember that its really what Pete decided was most important for each position, not necessarily what is most important in real life.

So for INT point of view LBs and CBs are the most important ones? |

So for INT point of view LBs and CBs are the most important ones? SF can also get interceptions in this game. Q1 1:46 2 and 10 to go on opp 37, Ronald Schmidt (OC) snaps the ball to Mikhail Konysbaev (QB), Mikhail Konysbaev (QB) selected Santiago Bravo (WR/L) as target, Bastien Monin (DE/R) breaks through the line, Yevgeniy Mirzaev (FB/R) blocks, he passes outer left for 15 yards to him, intercepted by Terry Simonnet (FS/R) on the opp 22 (Shotgun 2 WR vs. 3-4-4) more S25 Elite This is not the only interception by Terry Simonnet (FS, INT=32,5) and he's not the only SF to get interceptions. |

SF can get INT but get much, much, much less of them than CB and then LB.
For example, if you look at the top 50 players getting INT in Elite last season there are 42 CBs and 8 LBs, 0 SF. |

And if you look at the top 50 players getting interceptions in Elite in S25, the 44th is SF Andy O'Brien, with 4 interceptions... he got playing as CB. |

Haha yeah, that's because if you change a player's position before the rollover that's the position the award calculation will use. It happened to me in S23 iirc, one of my players played CB all season and I moved him to SF after week 16 but before the rollover so he was elected best Elite Safety of the season, having played 0 snap at Safety all season
I can't be bothered looking at the stats of each Elite team one by one but just looking at my team I've had 94 interceptions in Elite. Out of the 94 interceptions, 64 were made by CBs and 30 by LBs. |

That's why I only gave the example of my player.
And when looking at rankings or standings, caution with conclusions. |
