Has anyone ever seen these kind of plays:

0:22 2 and 7 to go on own 29, Frederic Groer (OC) snaps the ball to Eun-Ju Tak (QB), Eun-Ju Tak (QB) selected Gernot Horn (WR/L) as target, this outer left pass goes to the receiver, who catches the ball, Sudarak Supachai (CB/R) tackled him, forward progress: 24 yards, New first down (Shotgun 4 WR vs. 3-4-4)

Is this a successful medium pass or is this my CB just not doing his job?

I've noticed these plays recently also. When I've noticed them, I've checked the Pass distribution and saw that deep passes had been completed against me. In my last league game, the Saddy Rangers completed 50% on deep passes attempted.

This play is a long pass defined in the PB. Highly nor recommended as most of the time leading to an incomplete or an INT. But sometimes it works.

I also saw a 31 yard pass on a 3&28 situation. In this case this is an "automatic" long pass that has way more chances to be completed.

Checked and indeed, 1 of 2 long passes completed.

So does this mean that medium and long passes are beginning more viable options now?

Is it any difference in the training speed between the Youth Academy and the Senior team?

If you have a Premium YA I think the players improve their physicals slightly faster but it's been implemented a long time ago so I'm not 100% sure anymore.

I think it is already slightly faster even without the premium academy. Then with the premium academy it gets even faster. But I am not 100% sure.

The biggest difference is experience. Players gain a lot of free experience in the YA. Once they are out they can only gain experience by playing snaps. And Friday Friendlies provide very little experience compared to regular games or the YA.

Training without Premium YA is, if you keep the YA points out of this, the same.
With Premium YA it gets better.

But there is one benefit you can have in the YA you don't have with your depth chart players, and that is you skip PC training.
That means in a season around 2 to 6 full trainings you get extra.

Why is no PC training needed?
Because the YA-player does not play games, hence does not lose PC during the season. Depth Chart players do lose PC.
If you did s e l e c t YA players with TW >= 35 (more or less, more is better), the YA player will almost for sure gain PC during season rollover and you train a player from 16 onwards until he gets 21 and joins senior team, he will get up to 5 rollover bonus gains in PC, which you don't have to train.
It might be neccessary to train PC THEN, when that player joined senior team to get the last 20% or so, but until then, PC training is not needed and he still gains PC over the seasons and he gains that way more skill points.
