Basically I need 10 more millions to finish off my Stadium... Then the fun part will begin!! I can't wait!! 10 more days and it should done! I dread when I'm done with my stadium. I just started the last upgrade on my stadium and have been trying to figure out what the heck I should do now. I know that I should probably need to buy coaches and build facilities and stuff but I've been too busy to read the manual and Jack's guide to decide what would be the best course for me. |

Identify what kind of team you want to have, build, draft and buy towards that goal.

You can hire a HC but only have 550 cp to hire AC's so you have to choose what direction you want your team to go, offense heavy, run, pass, defense heavy, pass coverage, run coverage or special teams. The swimming pool and wind tunnel are good facilities to own in the beginning. You'll certainly want to build other staff and your Youth Academy. Start preparing for the draft coming up the first part of June. I know it's early but the draft will be here before you know it. |

Thinking about opening HR but want to hear from everyone that's using it. Would it be better to wait until next season or just not open it at all? How much money will it save me? Should have my stadium to 100K in about 2 weeks as construction is underway now to bring it up to 83K so I think I'm getting close to opening HR. HELP?

HR will reduce your wages roughly 10% if you negotiate correctly. There is no rush for you to open the HR until you start getting expensive players. Some people still don't use it - mostly because they don't want to bother with it. Build your income than build your team. |

At least you should have sorted out your roster a little bit. If you activate HR the contracts of all your players endswith this season. And you can´t fire them as cheaply as before (if I remember correctly).
So you should have the core roster that you plan to use for a while before you activate it. But then you can save a good amount of money with the price of a little more time of RZA I would pay almost the double salaries at the moment without HR, if the info is correct, but I have to renegotiate a good part of my roster at the end of the season |

Just to back up what others have said, using the HR well is a great way of keeping control of contracts and planning financially. It will save you money on salaries too.
BUT Due to the contract cancellation cost associated with it, you should only switch to the HR when you have a settled roster consisting mostly of players you intend to keep for a number of seasons. The ideal time to activate it is: - when you know the strength/speed caps of the vast majority of your roster, and therefore you know which players are worth keeping - when you fully understand the value of such skills as intelligence and experience, so you can take those into account - when player salaries start climbing as a result of training chargeable skills to the levels where the salary jump really becomes noticeable (and you have the right coaches and facilities, thus meaning the skills are increasing at a decent rate). This is typically 2-3 seasons into the game. Last edited on 2017-04-24 13:21:36 by JonnyP |

One advice for HR management, one that is a personal scare after a dramatic mistake : have a quadruple check on the numbers you offer to a player.
They are greedy : if you offer 1,500,000 weekly instead of 150,000 (a simple difference of a 0), they accept !!!! And then you have to sell them quickly or being overrun by his lawyers. |

I'm setting up a playbook that has a different formation for each yardage situation by quarter. Would I put the 4th quarter first then the biggest yards such as 4qtr the 1st down then 21+ formation rush or pass then work my way down the quarters downs and yardage?
like this QTR DOWN YARDS TO GO DISTANCE SCORE CLOCK FORMATION PLAY 4 1 21+ any any any any formation rush direction 4 2 21+ any any any any formation pass direction and so on Last edited on 2017-04-28 20:35:24 by CheramieIII |

If you are being quarter specific it doesn't matter. It will search from top to bottom for the 1st rule that would apply for the situation.
