I like that idea, it's simple and should work for many.

Join this league -> Bonus of 500.000
Join this league -> Bonus of 5.000.000

Will not convince all but more than today to join the less filled leagues.

I agree, it's a good idea that deserves a trial.

Ive said it before, and ill proberbly say it again: I think the main reason the admirals has so many humans, is the community. People take their time to help newcomers, get some banter and friendly rivalry going, write powerrankings etc. and basically commit to the league and the game.

I think the bribe will help to get some people in the other leagues, but if no-one gives them a reason to stay, they wont.

First thing they see however is not community but kick off times.

And Pete can easily confirm retention rates per league. If Admirals is higher than others than I am interested to start a mini project to learn from Admirals.

I propose a move to a different thread, and welcome all who wants to learn from our great Admirals example.

What about a money bonus to join those empty leagues? The bonus should be clear enough at the registration. It does not have to be big. A few millions should be enough to have an impact. 1 million for thebmost populated one, 8 for the least for example. And if it works, in several seasons the bonus would be balanced between leagues.

Done

How do you know a player you have is retiring? Where on his info screen will it say that?
