Hi!
I have a problem. I made my deepchart, but some player wount play on their positions. My LB plays as QB. My OG as OC. What made i wrong?
B

Possibly you did not fill all the spots, or parts of your squad got injured before or during the game

I have only 1 player, who is injured. I made so many positions, what was in that guide, (what i found here on the forum.)

For Example i put 2 player in QB positions. But somehow my LB plays the second QB.

Do you have more than 1 Depth Chart? I have a couple, and sometimes I make changes to the wrong one, or use the wrong one in a game.

Otherwise, this sounds like a bug, maybe.

I drew the formations up on 3x5 index cards, so I can see them at a glance.

Very old-school, low-tech. But easy to shuffle through and compare.

Good stuff no doubt.

Im still learning that a passing Wishbone formation against a 4-3-4 defensive formation seems to provide a but load of Int's.

Two in my last game. Also i am yet to focus on my defensive playbook havent even finished the bulk of the offensive one, then ill go to the D, and then ill do the necessary adjustments. I figured that at least this first season is a learning process so im not very worried about the end results for my team at this point, heck im still trying to ditch some bad players and substitute them with avg's players just to have a slight improvement when next season comes.

Its a slow learning process (my brain dictates that speed)

Slow is good. That way you only introduce a few new variables at a time.

Avoid Medium or Long passes for now (except, you know, in the last seconds of a half or something like that). INTs are caused by a few things (QB intel, is big, imo) and the longer the pass play the more chances bad things will happen. I still avoid Med and Long, and I have a nice 50 Intel QB with 30+ Passing skill and almost 30 Vision.

Yep ive been trying to do just that, but my only other passing option will be "Pass" and im not sure but i believe i read somewhere in the forum that the option "Pass" when selected will leave the deepth of the pass in the QB hands (inteligent should kick in) so ive been selecting Medium pass plays mostly, because both my QB are below avg at this point.

I have only 1 DC. 44 player is in. I watched my games and in every match, there are the same mistakes.
LB instead QB.
Punter instead OL (Once he has 37 good block, other 57 bad. :-D)
OL instead DL
It seems to me some other mistakes too, but i m not sure.
I dont understand, how?

Before this season i had an other DC with the same 44 player in it and i dont remember any problem. Now i changed the players and these mistakes happend in all matches.

you have to do your game setting and save them.

without the game settings the DC pick is completely random.

Made it to all matches (and set a default too.)

and don't miss to save a proper "default set" for the game orders, this might help in case you miss to do settings for a certain game.

The mistakes seems to me not random. In every match the same. Same players in same positions, just some of them not there where i put them.

Have a check on your DC, this is where to start. Make sure you have enough players set per position, and keep in mind: example Shotgun 4 WR, this needs 4 WR, so having 2 or 3 will not work. if you take into account injuries, even ingame, then you will need 5 or 6 WRs set.

Looks like your LB is your backup (2nd) QB on the DC and when your starter is tired (number in the game settings) they change.
