Funny you are so excited over the UCLA - Rice game.

I mean, for sure every Bruin Fan can be excited over the Jim L Mora hiring and they can't wait to see, what will happen, yes. But the Rice Owls are not a powerhouse of football in any universe, right?

On the otherhand, if you think about the Gamecocks and that scare they got by Vandy ... well, the Bruins are better off.

Well, a new head coach and a new QB and a new OC with a new offensive scheme...a lot of stuff to be curious about even if Rice isn't a great team.

Besides, my mom always thought I should have gone to Rice, but I think this game proves I made the right choice.

Go Bruins!

Well that wasn't fun...glad I didn't see the game.

Alabama torched us 41 to 14. Game was over at half-time, Alabama's defense was simply spectacular by what ive read, Robinson had 200 passing yards with 1 TD and 2 picks normal for him I guess, but with is legs he got the atrocious number of yards of 27 in 10 carries. A bad day overall for Michigan.

Yeah, that's what I was curious about...how well Robinson would do against a defense with SEC speed. I guess we got our answer.

Michigan has made a big turnaround, but I just don't think the Big Ten teams like Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin etc., have the athletes to compete against the top of the SEC. Not sure who does...maybe SC.

Well congrats on a great win by UCLA Steve, don't party to hard!

I missed the game but looking at the scoring sumary it must of been a great game to follow. UCLA jumps ahead of Nebraska in teh 4th Quarter with a safety! And and then consolidates teh lead with a TD with less than 3 minutes on teh clock, but Nebraska still tried to come back tho. Damn it, should of watched the game. And that kid Franklin WOOW kid was possesed or what! 8.3 Avg per carry in 26 carrys jezz, that put a smile in any bruins face!

Clearly deserving of the stats box score and score summary posted:

PS - Michigan also won against Air Force 31-25. D. Robinson doing is thing vs Air Force with 208 Passing yards 2 TD's and a pick (the usual). And rushing for 218 yards, 10.9 vg in 20 carrys, 79 was his longest. Expected. But result was waaay to close to what I thought. Still it's a win.
