Oh, Im still listening to punk music of that times, but more the local bands of the former GDR, like "Big Savod and the deep manko", or "Sandow" - you won't know them Im sure. But my taste changed over time, and so the hard rock and metal bands got more place in my daily playlist.

Funny story: when I met my wife in 1993 for the first time, we talked about our childhood...the conclusion: we had the same music taste, watched the same bands at the local concerts, were involved with the same group of people (this was kind of a small closed community at that times in our area, only a few hundred punks)...so quite sure we met before on such a gig, without noticing each other

The downside: we tried to find pictures out of that time, we both failed with that. Seems our parents were not interested in making pictures when we wore the "Mohawk", dirty leather jackets and boots. Could be we were just too cool to take care about taking pictures at all

Well, I'm more in the melodic punk area.
Favorite bands are Die Toten Hosen, Bad Religion, NOFX, The Offspring, No use for a Name, Millencolin, No Fun at all, Ignite and Rise Against.
I'm sure I forgot some ...
