2016-06-15 22:57:14 - Season 21: Another disappointing end for the PachadermsReport Abuse

One week after securing their 8th NC East division title the Pach suffered it's first home loss of the season to Aalborg Chargers in the Wildcard Playoff, capping the end to an otherwise outstanding run.

QB Jared Breaux managed to throw 4 TD passed but also threw 3 interceptions which turned out to be the key difference in the match. All day, the Chargers were successful moving the ball mostly with a wide-open passing game.

With 3:08 left in the game, the Pach pulled to within 4 but the stingy Charger offense refused to yield possession again, running out the clock deep in Bama territory before a stunned capacity crowd at Bear Bryant Stadium.

2016-03-26 19:34:57 - Season 20 Ends in 21-20 Road Loss in Hell's ArmpitReport Abuse

Saturday, the Pach traveled to Hell's Armpit stadium to play the Hell Hounds in the Claymore Divisional Playoffs. The #1 ranked Hell Hounds were favored by 10 but someone forgot to send the Pach the memo. Brady Boudreaux capped of an impressive first half with a 56 yd. career-long field goal to put Alabama up 10-0.

The second half, the Hounds came back and in spite of a late game rally by the Pach, held on to win 21-20 in front of 122-thousand plus. Coach B said, "they stopped our running game most of the third and fourth quarter and that was really the difference."

2015-10-18 04:01:40 - Pach Finishes Season 18 in Disappointing 6th PlaceReport Abuse

Heartbreaking losses at the end of the season were the story for the Pach. After a strong start, we found ourselves in the ironic position of our Crimson Tide namesake, being in the toughest division in the league. Three of four teams made the playoffs and the competition between our teams was fierce.

We lost our chance at another division title in a tie-breaker with Regina by 103 points. They got the bye, we got to play wildcard. In the next round, Regina shut down the run and controlled the clock to come away with the win.

2015-09-09 05:58:15 - Midway through Season 18 and looking good! Report Abuse

The Pach are currently ranked as high as they ever have been in Bekkos ratings. The team has played very well this season under a new coaching staff and many roster changes as well as upgrades to facilities.

Art Brady is playing is final season and will certainly be in the Hall of Fame. We also bid farewell to Grant Flagg who began his career here in 2012.

At the midway point of the season, we find ourselves in a 3-way tie for 1st in the NC East. A big win over Regina has opened things up and we now have a chance to win the division outright. Some key games remain but the Pach is looking good.

2015-05-16 19:25:24 - Opening Day of Season 17 was Awesome! Report Abuse

The weather at Bear Bryant Stadium was perfect for football as the Pachyderms took the field against NC North rival Vinland Guardians. It was a nail-biting 34-30 win capped by an 80 yd. TD pass from Art Brady to Mauro Saguatti with 2:04 remaining. The hard-hitting defense held off a rally by the Guardians to secure the victory.

Coach bshows had the following to say after the game:

"We are proud of the progress the team has made in preparation for this challenging season. Our opponent is a well-respected and highly ranked team and they played a great game. We continue to learn and develop as a team and we saw many areas where we can improve, so that is good."
