2013-03-18 16:56:54 - Crunch Time for Broncos Season 7Report Abuse

With little left to play for at league level, tonight see's us host the in-form Black Dragons.

It is a must win game for us if we have any hopes to reach the supercup playoffs this year. We already slipped up against Superheroes on Vacation so another loss all but rules out any hope of post season football for season 7.

It's shaping up to be a good game between two evenly matched teams. Black Dragons find themselves ranked 5th in the world rankings and have lost only 2 times this season.

We on the other hand have suffered a season long hangover from our success last season. It's high time the team stood up and played some football for a change.

2013-01-11 11:03:35 - What A Difference A Year MakesReport Abuse

Can you broncomaniacs remember our situation this time last year? I do. I had to have surgery to fix the tips of my fingers because i had bitten almost to the bone on the lead up to our relegation dog fight.

So here we are now. One year on and we are moaning from the other side of the pond. Leading the division for most of the year, only to be pipped on the final few matches.

We can all be proud of the turnaround here and look forward to even more improvements for the coming season. In a recent meeting with the Broncos GM, he was very insistent on building on what we have established at this great club, and he assures us fans that the future is bright for our club.

For RZA season 6, the football club go into offseason mode.

2012-10-21 21:13:31 - Broncos Impress To Stamp Their Place In Claymore 1.1Report Abuse

An inspired performance from our QB after a dubious start. Nieto opened the game throwing an interception that led to a 30 yard field goal to set the Broncomaniac's heart's sinking. After some motivational words from the coaching staff, Nieto went on to dominate, completing 17 of 28 for 132 yards, 2 touchdowns and no sacks.

Our defense really showed up on the day considering how our regular season record reads on paper. MLB Wylie Menzies showed exactly why his fellow players recently awarded him team MVP for season 5, returning 4 interceptions for a total of 24 points. Recording 13 tackles in the process.

So season 5 has come and gone. Our boys go off to enjoy some R&R while the office staff begin the plans for next season.

Hopefully we Broncomaniacs will have more to shout about

For season 5, i'm Duncan Keary Official Spokesman of the Oban Bay Broncos.
