2018-02-27 11:46:10 - Fedor Nikiforov officially introduced as our first HoFamerReport Abuse

We are proud to introduce Fedor "Nik" Nikiforov as our first Hall Of Fame Player.

Holder of many .95 Colts records(passing yards, TDs, attempts snaps played -at the moment he retired-...), Nik was the face of the franchise for many seasons, and is now rightfully honored for his years of service for the team.

Sur ce, bon appétit à tous et à bientôt

2017-12-26 11:43:33 - S27 in the rearview mirrorReport Abuse

Coming off a tough S26 with a 6-10 record, S27 was an opportunity to become a playoff contender in Dragons 1 NC.

But an 8-8 record wasn't enough, and too many of this losses came in a very painful way...

Week 4 :
A 1 point loss againts the Jackalopes, one of the heavyweight teams of our League.
FG missed : 24 & 36 yarders
PaT missed : 1

Week 6 :
Lost 31-16 at home, "net et sans bavure" as we say in France. Of course, we had a 100% kicking percentage that day...

Week 7 :
Upset loss 10 to 16
FG missed : 57 & 42 yarders (opp : 100% success)

Week 8 :
2 points loss agains the future division champion.
No FG missed, as there was 0 FG try.
We had the double amount of 1st downs, 10 yards less on rushing, 213 more yards passing & 10 more minutes of possession than our opponent. Yet we lost. (4TD, 325+ passing yards of franchise HoF Nikiforov)

Week 9 :
3 points loss against would be division last-placed team.
50% FG success dor our Colts, 66.7% for the opp.
Of course, we (again ?) had 24 first down, (opp : 12)
then rushed for 149 yards (opp : 27) and passed for 281 (opp 183) and held the ball for about 10 minutes more than our opponent

Week 11 :
4 points loss against the Walruses, on their way to challenge the Jackalopes for the AC S title.
FG misses : 42 & 55 (as time expired)

Week 13 :
3 points loss against NC S champ
55 yarder missed (came 3 plays after opp 65 yards attempt failed)

Week 14 :
6 points loss
No FG miss, as there was no FG try either.
About the same amount of 1st downs and 3rd down converisons between the two teams.
We rushed for 125 yards (opp : 143) and passed for 299 (opp : 224) got 2 sacks and 4 more minutes of possession.

So this record was good enough for 9th place within the conference, with the #6 team having a 10-6 record, and the NC E champ having a 12-4 record.

I don't think saying how much this season was frustrating is necessary...

2017-04-30 09:43:16 - Champ of Champs Cup VictoryReport Abuse

Yes, here we are

It was the first Champ of champs cup game for the franchise with me at the helm, and the first win for the franchise in this category ALL TIME.

With the team able to maintain in Dragons 1.1 this year, we surely won't come back in this championship soon, but this win is a very symbolic step of the development of the franchise.

Folksn the COLTS are coming, yeah !
