2021-02-09 21:18:14 - Season 41: Heartbreaker at the season’s end against Mascots (again)Report Abuse

It looked like this could be the season for the Ducks to get to the Elite League. They were so close, but in the end they had to swallow another bitter loss and did not take the final step. The Ducks had a good regular season. They were the best team in the league after the regular stage of the season. In the Divisional Round they beat their divisional rival Mellitlemenon thepitchhitchin rather handily 42:10. And then it came down to another Conference Championship. They faced Free Agent Mascots (they had faced them in the same stage two seasons ago) and did not start well. It seemed that the game is lost in the half-time. However the Ducks were able to get back in the game and they even led by two points for and a half minutes before the end. Less than a half minutes before the end of regulation the Mascots scored field goal and the Ducks lost 23:24.

In the SuperCup the Ducks won all of their games in the group stage. Then they beat GLADIATORI ROMA 48:7 in the first round, but their lost to BobBoy Magpies 28:37 in the second round and that was it in this competition for them.

“Well, what to say? We were four times in the Conference Championship in last five season, but we haven’t been able to make the last step and it is very frustrating. This year´s loss to Free Agent Mascots was the most painful loss in last decade at least. There is nothing we can do about it now and we have to be ready for the next season. We will be back stronger than ever,” said GM Mr.Pumpkin

Several players were awarded for their individual season performance. Running back Roland Kameník became the best RB of the Region Admirals and the best RB of the League Admirals 1.1. Tight end Karel Nerad was awarded as the best TE of the Region Admirals and the best TE of the League Admirals 1.1. Kicker Andreas Huber became the 2nd K of the Region Admirals and the 2nd best K of the League Admirals 1.1. Linebacker Emanuel Musil was awarded as the 2nd best LB of the League Admirals 1.1. Quarterback Karel Ludvík became 3rd best QB of the League Admirals 1.1.

the results of traditional fans awards is following:

Rookie of the year:

WR Tobiáš Blažek
He appeared in 35 games as a rookie which is an achievement on its own. He caught 69 passes for 606 yards and 5 TDs.

Offensive player of the year:

TE Karel Nerad
Very strong season by Karel Nerad. He caught 269 passes for 3.356 yards (both single season franchise records by a tight end) and 35 TDs.

Defensive player of the season:

LB Emanuel Musil
He had a very good year. He recorded 93 tackles, 24 sacks, 14 interceptions, forced 5 fumbles, recovered 10 fumbles (franchise single season record) and scored 8 defensive TDs.

MVP of the season:

QB Karel Ludvík
He completed 986 passes out of 1.439 attempts for 11.436 yards and 122 TDs (he threw only three interceptions and was sacked only 10 times). True leader.

2021-01-28 20:40:49 - Rudolf Gregor inducted into the Motol Ducks Hall of FameReport Abuse

It is our great honor and pleasure to announce that former Motol Ducks QB Rudolf Gregor was inducted into the Motol Ducks Hall of Fame.

Rudolf Gregor joined the Ducks when he was 20 years old and spent his first season as a member of Motol Ducks Youth Academy. For the first two seasons on the active roster he played behind QB Edvard Hrdina. Then they split their playing time evenly in Gregor’s third and fourth season. After that he was undoubted starter from Season 32 until he retired in after the end of Season 39. He appeared in 376 games in Motol Ducks uniform and completed 7.376 passes (3rd most in franchise history) for 92.483 yards (3rd most in franchise history) and 1.026 TDs (3rd most in franchise history) and he had career rating of 119,8. He is the only quarterback that won two Bowls in League Admirals 1.1 and the only quarterback who started in 4 seasons in Elite League in Motol Ducks jersey. He also appeared in 88 All Stars games.

“Rudolf was a real professional. He was such an inspiration for us younger players. He taught me so much and he is my biggest role model in professional sports,” said current Motol Ducks QB Karel Ludvík.

“I feel so blessed that I could have been part of this amazing organization for 13 season and I am proud that as a pro a played only for this team. We were able to play in Elite League for four years and I wish the current Ducks’ players to get into the Elite League as well, because it is an incredible experience,” said Rudolf Gregor.

2021-01-28 20:36:30 - Season 40: The Ducks failed againReport Abuse

The Ducks were aiming for the Elite League again, but it was not meant to be this season once again. The Ducks lost three games in the regular season, which was the worst result of the regular season since Season 37. However, it was enough for them to finish as the second-best team in the AC Conference. They managed to beat Devon Dog Soldiers in the Divisional Round 23:14, but they lost to Green Mark Packers in the Conference Championship 17:28 and they did not get to the Promised Land.

Motol Ducks were rather successful in the SuperCup, where they got through the group stage with 15 wins and no loss. Then they fought their way through the first three rounds in the play-offs and ended their quest in the fourth round, where they lost in a heartbreaker to Marife-Laicon, when they conceded a touchdown just half a minute before the end of regulation and lost 28:29.

“We cannot say that we had a bad season, but we did not achieve our main goal for the season, and so we have to be critical to ourselves. We have a strong team and we need to want more from us,” said GM Mr. Pumpkin after the season’s end.

Running back Roland Kameník received couple of individual awards – he became the 2nd best RB of the Region Admirals and the best RB of the League Admirals 1.1.

The results of traditional fans awards are following:

Rookie of the season:

S Tadeáš Bubeník
The only rookie who played in the majority of the games this season even though he was not much of a factor in most of them. He played in 34 games and recorded 2 tackles, 1 sack and 1 special teams tackle.

Offensive player of the season:

QB Karel Ludvík
His first season as a full-time starter in his career and he did very well. He completed 961 passes out of 1.431 attempts for 12.000 yards and 145 TDs. Great season.

Defensive player of the season:

LB Nirel Zahavi
He was all over the field in every single game. He recorded 160 tackles, 31 sacks, 13 interceptions, forced 1 fumble, recovered 3 fumbles and scored 11 defensive TDs. Excellent stats.

MVP of the season:

RB Roland Kameník
He was one of the best running backs in the Admirals Region this season. He recorded 859 runs for 4.738 yards and 55 TDs. He was the workhorse and playmaker of this year´s offense.

2021-01-27 21:43:00 - Season 39: Mascots were just too good to beatReport Abuse

Motol Ducks lost only one game (against Free Agent Mascots) in the regular season, just like the previous season, and they were the second best team in AC Conference and in the league as well. The Ducks beat their divisional rival Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin 26:10 and got their revenge for the last season. However, they lost in the Conference Championship to Free Agent Mascots (again) 9:20. And so they were not able to get to Elite League, which was their ultimate goal for the season.

Motol Ducks were able to get to the SuperCup play-offs, since they lost only one game in the group stage. In the first round they beat Barbados Cakes 68:7, but in the second round they lost to Pretty Guinness Consumers 6:21.

"This year was a strange year. We did not achieve our goal to get to the Elite league, but unfortunately in our conference we had Free Agent Mascots, arguably the best non-Elite League team in RZA world and they were just better than us. It is no shame to lose to such a time. Hopefully, we will be luckier and more successful next season," said GM Mr.Pumpkin.

Several players were awarded for they individual performances. Offensive lineman Prokop Železný became 3rd best OL of the League Admirals 1.1, safety Yago Martín became the best SF of the League Admirals 1.1 and kicker Andreas Huber became the 2nd best K of the Region Admirals and also the best K of the League Admirals 1.1.

The results of traditional fans awards are following:

Rookie of the season:

WR František Gregor
In his rookie season he caught 92 passes for 1.155 yard and 18 TDs.

Offensive player of the season

RB Joshua Mcclelland
He recorded 559 rushes for 2.762 yards and 38 TDs.

Defensive player of the season

LB Leopold Vodrážka
He recorded 101 tackles, 23 sacks, 9 interceptions, forced 2 fumbles and recovered 2 fumbles and scored 5 defensive touchdowns.

To make long story of this season short – this season ended just too soon. Motol Ducks wanted to fight for the Elite League, but they did not succeed. They were on track after the regular season, when they lost only one game and were the best team after this phase of the season. However, they lost their first play-off game in Divisional Round 25:30 against their divisional rival Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin and that was a huge disappointment.

Motol Ducks were able to get to the SuperCup play-offs even though they had lost two games in the group stage. In the first round they beat Lisbon Seacrows 23:6, but their journey ended in the second round, where they lost to Social Distance Runners 14:27.

"We failed to achieve our goal obviously. We need to learn from this season a be better next year," said GM Mr.Pumpkin.

Several players were awarded for they individual performances. Running back Joshua Mcclelland received award for the 3rd best RB of the Region Admirals and also for the 2nd best RB of the League Admirals 1.1, offensive linemen Dušan Trnka and Alfréd Trnka became 2nd and 3rd best OL of the League Admirals 1.1, cornerback Randall Post became 2nd best CB of the League Admirals 1.1 and kicker Maxim Ludvík became 3rd best K of the League Admirals 1.1.

The one and only goal for the Motol Ducks was to get to the Elite League for the third time in franchise history. They lost only three games in the regular season and ended up being second in their conference. They beat Devon Dog Soldiers 44:24 in the Divisional Round, but got beaten 17:24 by Bracciano Lakers in the AC Conference Championship. They were once again unbeaten in the group stage of the SuperCup, however they lost to BoneCrushers 27:30 in the over time in the first round of play-offs.

"We were pretty clear and vocal about our main goal for the season, which was getting to Elite League. We failed. We will try to learn from this and hopefully we will succeed next season. However it will not be easy since the competition gets tougher," said GM Mr.Pumpkin

2020-03-15 12:20:12 - Season 36: Relegation from Elite LeagueReport Abuse

It was quite a surprise when the Ducks won Admirals 1 League Bowl in Season 35 and got promoted to Elite League. It was a bit premature for such a young team to get to Elite League and the expectations had been pretty low before the Season 36 started. The Ducks managed to win only three games in the regular season. They were last in their division and got relegated. They were a little bit more successful in the SuperCup, where they were unbeaten in the group stage and then got in the third round of play-off, where they lost to AS Roma Wolves 14:27.

"We wanted to be as competitive as possible in the Elite League, but the truth was that we just were not experienced enough to stay in such a competitive league. We will get stronger thanks to this tough season and we will try to get back in the Elite League as soon as possible," said GM Mr.Pumpkin

The results of traditional fans awards are following:

Rookie of the season:

QB Karel Ludvík
He played in only 21 games, but his performances were very promising. He completed 304 passes out of 447 for 4.526 yards, 59 TDs and only 6 interceptions.

Offensive player of the season

TE Bohumil Macek
He caught 219 passes for 3.079 yards (franchise single-season record for TE) and 35 TDs. What a season.

Defensive player of the season

LB Leopold Vodrážka
He established new franchise season record in sacks second season in a row. He recorded 150 tackles, 31 sacks, 11 interceptions, forced 2 fumbles and scored 9 defensive touchdowns.

MVP of the season

QB Rudolf Gregor
He once again was very consistent and reliable. He completed 664 out of 994 passes for 7.271 and 57 TDs.

2019-10-09 07:44:33 - Edvard Oliva and Minas Oganesian inducted into the Motol Ducks Hall of FameReport Abuse

It is a pleasure to announce that two exceptional linebackers Edvard Oliva and Minas Oganesian became the tenth and eleventh member of Motol Ducks Hall of Fame. They were both not only key linebackers, but also cornerstones of the defense of the Motol Ducks team that finally managed to get into Elite League. Both of them also played in Elite League - Oganesian for two seasons and Oliva for three seasons - before they retired.

Edvard Oliva joined the team in Season 20, when Ducks initiated a rebuild process and at that time 21 year old defensive talent caught their interest. In his first couple of seasons he played as a defensive end and then he moved to outside linebacker role. He played his entire career (15 seasons) in Ducks uniform. He appeared in 491 games, in which he recorded 1691 tackles, 164 sacks (most in franchise history), caught 60 interceptions, forced 19 fumbles, recovered 27 fumbles (most in franchise history) and scored 52 defensive touchdowns.

"It was invaluable to have a chance to play alongside him the first season after I joined the Ducks. He was a true hard worker, blue-collar player as you say, and he taught me a lot, because he was always helpful to the younger players," said LB Leopold Vodrážka, who broke Oliva's franchise single season sack record just last season.

"We played in one team for a decade and I consider him to be my good friend. It´s a real treat to be inducted into the Motol Ducks Hall of Fame and to be inducted with one of your best buddies is a proverbial cherry on the top of the cake," said Minas Oganesian.

Minas Oganesian joined the Ducks as a 20 year old in Season 22 with just 7 games played for Erwans Duby, who drafted him that season. He spent his first season in Motol Ducks Youth Academy. Then he became starter at middle linebacker position and stayed there 10 season before he retired. He played in 331 games in Ducks uniform and recorded 1563 tackles, 125 sacks, caught 126 interceptions, forced 17 fumbles, recovered 16 fumbles and scored 76 defensive touchdowns. He also holds two single season franchise records in interceptions caught (35) and defensive touchdowns scored (39).

Oganesian received two individual awards:
2nd best LB of the Region Admirals in Season 30
1st best LB of the League Admirals 1.1 in Season 30

"He was a real pain in the ass for all opposing offensive players. He was all over the field and he hit hard. I did not like to go against him on the practice field," said former Ducks RB Hubert Macek, who retired after last season.

"Minas was talented and intelligent player and he was very vocal in the locker room and could uplift everyone else on the defense. We became real friends over the years and we are both delighted to share such a special moment," said Edvard Oliva.

2019-10-01 19:55:37 - Season 35: Return to EliteReport Abuse

It was the second season in the Admirals 1 League after the relegation from Elite League and huge rebuild of the team. The Ducks set a goal to get into play-offs. Even though they lost in the first game of the season, they did unexpectedly well and ended up the season with 13-3 record. That meant divisional title and bye week in the first round of the play-off. The Ducks beat strong Green Mark Packers in the Divisional Round 21:17. Then they won over Gary Gargoyles 22:9 and got promoted back to the Elite League. But that was not all. They also beat Free Agent Mascots 23:17 in the Bowl game and won the League Admirals 1.

It was the first season in the Admirals 1 League after the relegation from Elite League and it did not started well. The Ducks lost all of their first four league games, but they got better during the season and ended with 8-8 record. It was not enough to get to the play-offs. The Ducks lost three games in their SuperCup division, however they got in the play-offs. They lost in the first round to strong Wilmersdorf Wadenbeisser 7:44.

"Our performances in the second half of the season exceeded our expectations. We ended the season with even record and that is a decent result when you take our tough division into consideration. We have a young team and we thought that it would take at least three seasons to even think about us being in play-offs, but we showed, that we are able to play quality football. Therefore we will fight for a play-off spot next season, that's for sure," said GM Mr.Pumpkin

Motol Ducks initiated a rebuild process before Season 33 and it was expected that they would struggle in Elite League with much new younger team. They managed to win two out of three first games of the season. However their inexperience revealed and they did not win any other league game and ended the season with 2-14 record. The Ducks ended last in the division and got relegated. The Ducks also lost four games in SuperCup division stage, which could not be enough to get to the play-offs.

"This season cannot be called successful, but since the team was completely rebuilt such a development was expected. Our players will come out stronger and more experienced out of this and we will be better next season. I have no doubt," said GM Mr.Pumpkin.

2019-03-16 20:12:19 - Season 32: Another season in Elite League securedReport Abuse

It was a fight until the last week of the season, but the Ducks made it. They secured Elite League for Season 33. Their final record 10-6 was just enough for the second place in the division behind Yellowcakes and in front of Free Agent Mascots. Their season ended in the Wild Card round, when they lost 28:30 to Diorite Lions. They also went unbeaten through the division stage in SuperCup, however they lost 17:23 to Chesterton Cheese in the first round of the play-offs.

"We did not repeat the success of previous season, but at least we managed to save Elite League for us for the next season. That was especially important for us, because we expect that it will be the last season in Elite for some time, because we decided to start a rebuilding process. We built a strong team full of veteran star players. These players made a terrific job for us, but we cannot satisfy legitimate salary demands of all of them. We already started the process and we will go younger and cheaper. This will surely affect the strength of our team, which probably would not be sufficient for the Elite League. We will however fight bravely and if we get relegated we will try to get back as soon as possible," said GM Mr.Pumpkin.

Tight end Petr Malina was awarded as the Best TE of the Region RZA Elite League and also as the Best TE of the Elite League. Hubert Macek was awarded as the 2nd best RB of the Region RZA Elite League and also as the 2nd best RB of the Elite League.

Here are the results of traditional fans awards:

Rookie of the season:

SF Erich Matuška
It is tough to earn playing time for rookies in such a strong team. Erich Matuška appeared in only for games and recorded just one tackle. However he earned a place in fans' hearts when he was forced to substitute injured kicker Prokop Škoda. He kicked 6 field goals and made all of them. The longest one was from distance of 42 yards. He also made 4 of PATs.

Offensive player of the season:

RB Hubert Macek
He is admirably consistent. This was his seventh consecutive season with more than 4.000 rushing yards. He rushed 805 times for 4.068 yards and 36 TDs. Legend.

Defensive player of the season:

LB Minas Oganesian
He recorded 19 tackles, 10 sacks, 19 interceptions, 3 forced and recovered fumbles and 9 defensive TDs in all official games. Defensive leader as always.

MVP of the season:

QB Rudolf Gregor
He certainly showed how good he is in his first season as a true number one quarterback. He completed 1261 passes for 10.909 yards, 137 TDs and only 8 interceptions. He added 30 rushes for 143 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. Excellent.

2018-07-31 19:21:51 - Season 30 – Ducks finally made it to Elite!Report Abuse

It was a long, long time ago when the Ducks won the 1.1 Admirals League Bowl for the last time. It was in Season 12 and it was the last Season before the Elite League was created. The Ducks were one game away from Elite in couple of following seasons, however they never succeeded and management decided that it was time for a rebuild. Ducks got relegated in the second division of Admirals region and made it back after one season. They slowly built arguably even stronger team than they had had before the rebuild, but they struggled in the postseason. Until Season 30.

The Ducks started the season with 1-2 record, but they did not lose any regular season game after week 3. They beat Comeback Kids 19:17 in the Divisional Round, then managed to beat one of their biggest rivals WV BoBcats 34:10 and finally win in the League Bowl game 40:17 over Padborg Borderliners. After so many seasons with a completely new squad the Ducks won League Bowl in Admirals 1.1 and this time it meant promotion to Elite League as well.

The Ducks also made it to the SuperCup play-offs, but lost in the first round 22:14 to Torino Black Bulls.

Unfortunately the Ducks didn’t get to the SuperCup play-offs either, since they lost 3 games in the division.

“We certainly hoped for more, but we believe, that our team still has the best years ahead of it. We have plenty of young and talented players. They will get better in the near future,” said Reinhold Rall after his first season as a Ducks head coach.

One of the Ducks players was awarded for his individual performances. 2017-01-04 15:06:18 - Karel Chalupa, Oladele Lemos and Agrima Rajan inducted into the Motol Ducks Hall of FameReport Abuse

Defensive lineman Karel Chalupa, linebacker Oladele Lemos and fullback Agrima Rajan were all inducted into the Ducks Hall of Fame for their achievements, leadership and dedication to the game. They were all cornerstones of the Ducks team that won the Bowl of the Admirals Division 1.1 in Season 12.

Karel Chalupa was drafted by the Ducks before Season 8 and spent his entire career (15 seasons) as a Duck. Chalupa played in 510 official games (most in franchise history) and made 1.899 tackles (most in franchise history), 763 tackles for loss (most in franchise history), 61 sacks (tied for third most in franchise history), 19 forced fumbles (third most in franchise history), recovered 7 fumbles and scored 5 defensive touchdowns. Chalupa started his career as a defensive end and as he got older he moved inside the defensive line and played mostly as a nose tackle. He was great at both positions.

"It was a real treat to play alongside Karel and train with him for five seasons. He was a great player and a great mentor. He was always there to help the younger players to improve their game," said NT Robert Polívka, who took over the role of Karel Chalupa and is currently a starter at his position.

Oladele Lemos was drafted by the Ducks before Season 9 and spent his entire career (12 seasons) in the Ducks uniform as well. He was the starting outside linebacker for his entire career and he and Vladimír Pivonka created duo of linebackers that made life of opponent’s offensive players miserable. He played in 415 official games and recorded 1.326 tackles (third most in franchise history), 61 sacks (tied for third most in franchise history), 30 interceptions (fifth most in franchise history), forced 8 fumbles, recovered 9 fumbles and scored 33 defensive touchdowns (second most in franchise history).

"I spent only one season in the same team with Oladele, but I can say, that he was a true professional. He trained hard and was always ready to make a crucial play," said LB Edvard Oliva, who is starting outside linebacker for the Ducks.

Agrima Rajan was drafted by Kaunas Hurricane in Season 8 and since there wasn’t a role for him in this team and the front office decided to sell him. The Ducks gave him a chance and Agrima joined their Youth Academy when he was only 19 years old. He spent two season in Academy and then 13 seasons as a member of the senior year before he retired. He played 460 official games and recorded 2.060 rushes (second most in franchise history and most by a fullback) for 9.487 yards (second most in franchise history and most by a fullback) and 55 touchdowns (fifth most in the franchise history and most by a fullback). He also broke 507 tackles (second most in the franchise history and most by a fullback) and made 2.635 successful blocks (most by a fullback in franchise history).

"He probably wasn’t the most physically gifted player on the field. He wasn’t stunningly fast or strong, but you could always be sure that he would be the one to fight the hardest. That’s why he was so valuable to the team and why everyone loved him", said OL Vincenc Drbohlav, currently a starting offensive guard.

Rajan received one individual trophy in his career - 2nd best FB of the League Admirals 2.2 in Season 20.

The Ducks beat several quality and well-established teams and were in the wild card hunt till week 16. The final record 10-6 was the best record among teams, that didn’t get to the play-offs.

The Ducks were successful in their SuperCup Division, where they won all of the 15 games. They got to the SuperCup play-offs and lost in the third round of this competition to the Basterds. This is widely considered as a very solid achievement by this young team.

Laisiasa Moore retired as a head coach of the team. He spent 16 whole seasons plus part of Season 7 as a head coach of the Ducks. The Ducks won 18 trophies under his leadership including the most valuable 1.1 Admirals League Bowl (Season 12). Coach Reinhold Rall from Namibia took over the job.
"We are all very grateful to Laisiasa for what he’s done for this team and we wish him all the best in his life outside of football business. We are convinced, that Reinhold Rall was the right choice to replace Laisiasa," said GM Mr.Pumpkin.

2016-12-10 12:13:49 - Season 22 - Ducks settled comfortably in the 1.1 AdmiralsReport Abuse

The one and only goal for the Season 22 was to survive in the top league in the Admirals Region. The Ducks managed to survive comfortably and they were even in the play-off hunt till the very end of the season. The final record 9-7 meant safe survival among elite Admirals teams, but no postseason appearance.

The Ducks were once again able to get to the SuperCup paly-offs. However they lost in the first round. But still, it was a nice achievement for a young developing team.

"We are very happy, that we were able to survive in the 1.1 Admirals rather comfortably. We have a young team, but we are convinced that we belong to this quality league. We still have a lot of work to do, but we strongly believe, that we will be able to compete with the best within three or four season," said GM Mr.Pumpkin.

Results of the traditional fan awards are following:

Rookie of the season:

RB Huber Macek
He had 510 rushes for 2.680 yards and 35 TDs in all official games in his rookie season and he became integral part of the offense. These numbers are even better than legendary RB James -G.O.A.T- had in his rookie season.

Offensive player of the season:

TE Edwin Randall
He had one of the best seasons by a Ducks tight end ever. He caught 105 passes for 2.022 yards and 31 TDs in all of his official games.

Defensive player of the season:

CB Antonín Kafka
He recorded 189 tackles, 5 interceptions, 1 forced fumble and 3 defensive TDs in all official games. He is the first cornerback to ever win this award.

MVP of the season:

QB Edvard Hrdina
He won for the second time in a row even though he did not perform better than the last season. An improvement was expected from a young QB, but he played against tougher competition and still played very well. He completed 745 passes for 11.158 yards and 141 TDs in 32 official games.

Linebacker Vladimír Pivonka and running back James -G.O.A.T- were both inducted into the Motol Ducks Hall of Fame today. They were both essential parts of the Ducks team that won the Bowl of the Admirals Division 1.1 in Season 12 and great professionals on and off the field.

He was drafted by the Cameroon Turtles in the same season as Vladimír Pivonka, which makes him also the first player inducted into the Motol Ducks Hall of Fame, who was not drafted by the Ducks. However, he played only one game for the Turtles (without a single carry) and became a Duck at the beginning of Season 9. He spent two seasons in the Youth Academy. Motol Ducks got relegated and spent Season 20 in 2.2 League Admirals. At the beginning of the season the Ducks did not have immediate promotion as their season’s goal, but as the season progressed the Ducks remained unbeaten until the week 16, when they lost to their divisional rival SpringHeel Jacks. The Ducks won the last game of the regular season and with the record 15-1 they had a bye week during Wild Card round. Unfortunately, they faced IdealGassers, who built a very strong team full of veteran players, in the Divisional round and the young Ducks team lost 37:6.

This loss meant, that the Ducks would spend another season in the second division. Then a surprise came. Iceland Icepicks from 1.1 Admirals decided to end the existence of their franchise and the Ducks as the best not promoted team in both second division leagues after the regular season took their place in AC East in 1.1 League Admirals.

The Ducks were rather successful in other competitions than league. As outsiders they managed to get in the SuperCup playoffs. However, their journey in this competition ended in the first round. The Ducks also won friendly cup Scarecrow Bowl III, which was a very pleasing achievement.

František Mlýnek was selected as the best DL of the 2.2 League Admirals.
Andy Macklin got an award for the 3rd best K of the 2.2 League Admirals and of the Region Admirals.

"We are quite satisfied with the Season 21. Of course, there were several games we would like to end differently, but we still have a young team, that need to improve and gain more experience in order to be consistent and successful against the better teams in Admirals region and RZA world as a whole. We very lucky enough to get back in the 1.1 Admirals and we would like to stay there and get better season after season and then compete for the championships eventually. However, there is a long way ahead of us," said GM Mr.Pumpkin

"I had a chance to be in one team with Svatopluk for two seasons. Sometimes I had to cover him in the practice and it was nearly impossible. When I thought I knew how to defend him, he always pulled out a new trick to get to the ball. I learned a lot in the practice with him," said CB Antonín Kafka, who is now one of the cornerstones of the Ducks secondary.

"Svatopluk Zíka and Ihor Holík were absolutely incredible tandem for twelve seasons. They always played on a high level, but they were the best, when the team needed them the most. In the final minutes of a game or in the playoffs, they were able to make a play or two to win the game. That’s what made them so special and indispensable. Ihor stayed one more season without Ihor and he was still great, but he was 34 and he decided to retired," said Motol Ducks HC Laisiasa Moore.

After a tremendously successful season Motol Ducks had a season, that could be described as League Bowl hangover. Motol Ducks ended the season 8-8 and didn’t get in the play off. The only success is that they managed to get to fourth round of SuperCup for the first time in the history of the franchise. But they also didn’t win any trophy in Season 13 for the first time ever.

"We didn’t have a good first half of the season. Not super bad, but not good either. Plus our division rivals Raiders and Dragons were on fire the whole season and so our chances to get to play off were pretty slim, so we decided to get more play time to our players, that normally don’t play that much, to get some more experience in official games. We ended 8-8, no playoffs and no trophy. Basically a season to forget," said GM Mr. Pumpkin. “But we are surely exited about the new seasons and we want it to be successful again," he added.

For the third time Motol Ducks awarded their best players based on fans voting. Here are the results:

2014-06-10 09:21:32 - Season 12 - League 1.1 Admirals Champions!!!Report Abuse

Motol Ducks didn’t start well Season 12 after their rather successful Season 11. After week 6 they were 2-4 and way behind their biggest division rivals Galrauch Raiders, who were 5-1 at that time. But then streak of 9 consecutive wins came including wins over former Bowl winners Lucentum Dragons, Phoenix Firebirds and High Fives. Thanks to this streak Ducks managed to ensure division title one week before the end of the regular season. They lost in the last week, but it didn’t change anything for the Ducks and they ended second in NC Conference and so they avoided Wildcard Round.

In the Divisional Round the Ducks faced Green Mark Packers, who won their NC West division after 9 seasons of dominance of Phoenix Firebirds. It was anybody’s game before the match, but Packers were probably slightly bigger favorites thanks to their great form at the end of the regular season. But the Ducks played very well game since the second quarter and won the game surprisingly comfortably 27:16 and they got to the Conference Championship in 1.1 Admirals for the first time since the establishment of the franchise. "We were a bit nervous in the first quarter of the game, because we felt the pressure and the huge chance to get in to the Conference Championship. But we scored TD right after the start of the second quarter and that help us a lot. We calmed down, played our game and won it," said RB James -G.O.A.T-, who was named the MVP of the game.

WV BoBcats were Ducks opponent in the Conference Championship. WV BoBcats won NC North division for the seventh time and they won League Bowl in Season 9. WV Bobcats were great favorites before the kick-off. But the Ducks scored two long pass TD and they were leading 14:0 at the beginning of the second quarter. After that BoBcats started to push the Ducks, but Motol Ducks held onto their lead and they won the game with a bit of luck in the end 14:13. "After we scored that second TD, we realized, that we actually can make it to the Bowl game and this probably didn’t help us much and then we let BoBcats to play and move the ball and that almost dind’t pay off in the end," said QB Ihor Holík, who was named the MVP of the Conference Championship.

In the League Bowl Motol Ducks faced the best team of 1.1 Admirals in recent seasons Free Agent Mascots. They won SuperCup and League Bowl both twice in Season 10 and Season 11, so it was no surprise, that Free Agent Mascots were huge favorites to win the League Bowl for the third time in a row. They were moving the ball much better in the first half, but fortunately for the Ducks scored only two field goals in the first half of the game and the Ducks scored one field goal and so the score was 6-3 for Free Agent Mascots in the half-time. Ducks offense started to play very good in the second half. They had 59 yards, 76 yards and 80 yards long TD drives. The game-wining TD was caught by TE Joshua Dockery with 3:21 on the clock till the end of the game. But there still was no time for celebrations, because Free Agent Mascots moved the ball quickly in the last three minutes, but eventually didn’t make it to the end zone and so the celebrations of Motol Ducks could begin! James -G.O.A.T- was named the MVP of the League Bowl and all he could say after the gam is this: "I have no words to describe this amazing feeling! Woohooo!"

On the top of that Motol Ducks did great in other competitions as well. They won their strong SuperCup division with Shard End Sharks, GLADIATORI ROMA and Alabama Pachyderms. The Ducks made it to the third round to lose to later SuperCup winners Lucea Cardinals. And they won Toilet Bowl V. So overall it really was extraordinary season.

Motol Ducks performed great as a team and two players were also awarded individual trophies. QB Ihor Holík and RB James -G.O.A.T- both got a trophy for 2nd best players in League 1.1 Admirals at their respective positions.

"It was unbelievable season. Of course our intention was to compete for the League 1.1 Admirals Bowl one day, but we thought we could be real contenders in three or four season. To win 1.1 Admirals in sixth season in since the establishment of the franchise is tremendous success and I am proud of every single player, coach or any other member of the franchise. We also were pretty successful in the SuperCup and won Toilet Bowl a great friendly cup. So really, a season we didn’t dare to hope for.
Now, we can’t stop working hard. On the contrary we need to start working even harder. We already made some changes in the coaching stuff. We unfortunately decided to say goodbye to our DL, OL, TE and FB ACs. They obviously did a great job for us, but we felt we need to make some changes to be more successful in developing players in the long-term period. Right now we are negotiating contracts with our new ACs," said GM Mr.Pumpkin at the press conference.

"Our goal for the next season is to fight successfully for the playoff spot and then let’s see what happens. As this season showed anything can happen in the playoff," added GM Mr.Pumpkin with smile on his face.

For the second time Motol Ducks awarded their best players based on fans voting. Here are the results:

Rookie of the season:

OL Emil Kašpárek
Emil was a clear winner of this category with 57,4% of the votes. He is the first ever Motol Ducks Youth Academy product to make it to the senior team. He started at OG position as a back up, but he performed so well, that he became starter early in the season. He ended the season with 82,1% success rate of his blocking.

Offensive player of the season

RB James -G.O.A.T-
Last season he was the Rookie of the season, this season he is according to fans voting (43,2%) the Offensive player of the year. He had a great numbers in this season and he was also awarded as second best RB in 1.1 Admirals, but his contribution was enormous and beyond these numbers. He didn’t score many TDs, but he was able to get many important first downs and he also helped passing offense as well. He rushed for 2.651 yards and 14 TDs.

Defensive player of the season

LB Vladimír Pivonka
Vladimír Pivonka wasn’t as dominant as he was last season, but he had a great season and he earned 51,6 % of fans votes to win the award for the second time. He recorded 155 tackles (3 of them were sacks), caught 13 interceptions, forced 2 fumbles and scored 8 defensive TDs.

MVP of the season

QB Ihor Holík
Ihor Holík was always a key player for the Ducks, but Season 12 was the best season for him so far and that brought him 72,5 % of fans votes. He had 17.028 passing yards for 285 TDs and he only threw 4 interceptions during the whole season. Amazing numbers.

2014-06-04 11:58:32 - Yourh Academy ReportReport Abuse

Four talented 20 years old players were promoted to senior team this week. These players are CB Miloš Jahoda, SF Dušan Oliva, RB Olivier Mallet and DL Pavel Patera.

CB Miloš Jahoda is a Czech cornerback, who joined Motol Ducks Youth Academy from Porto Slackers Youth Academy, when he was 16 years old. He spent almost 5 season in our Youth Academy. "We saw the potential, when he joined us and he has improved very much since he joined us as we expected. We truly believe, that one day he will be one of the key players of our secondary," said CB AC Si Don.

Czech safety Dušan Oliva joined Motol Ducks Youth Academy at the beginning of this season. "Our intention with Dušan is to play him at SS position. He surely will be only back up at the first, but we hope he will fight for the starting job hard," said HC Laisiasa Moore. "We are also strongly considering to bring in safety AC, because we have some really young and talented players at this position and we want to help their development as much as possible," added GM Mr.Pumpkin.

RB Olivier Mallet is Dutch running back, who spent one season in Motol Ducks Youth Academy. "We are set at the two starting RB spots with James -G.O.A.T- and Hansjürgen Franke, but we needed more depth at the position and we think Olivier could help us with that," said RB AC Garon Boothe.

Czech defensive end Pavel Patera joined Motol Ducks Youth Academy just recently. "He looks great and we wanted him very much to join our team. He will hopefully help us with creating pressure on opponent's quarterbacks," said HC Laisiasa Moore.

2014-04-10 13:27:24 - Toilet Bowl V champions!Report Abuse

Motol Ducks became fourth team ever to win Toilet Bowl after beating Firenze Fappers in the Toilet Bowl V final.

The Ducks started this friendly cup very well, when they beat AS Roma Wolves 49:27. But afterwards they lost in the second game to Firenze Fappers 14:27 and they had to beat Cleveland Haters in the final game of the group stage. In a very close game they managed to do that and they got to the playoff. In the semi-final they beat Sacramento XSV 37:21 to face Firenze Fappers again, this time in the final. In this game Motol Ducks left nothing to chance, they absolutely dominated the first half of the game and they had 30:0 lead in the halftime. In the second half they hang on to that lead to win the game 40:21.

"It was a great win for us. We are not so successful in the league as we were last season so far, but we hope to get better during the season. We do a better job in the SuperCup, where we lead our division and we have only the weaker teams ahead of us, so we have our faith in our own hands now. And that is a good thing," said GM Mr.Pumpkin.

"Now we need to stabilize our team because several new players joined us recently. Our main goal remains the same. We want to stay in 1.1 Admirals and fight for the playoff spot next season, because this season we probably won’t make it due to a bad start. But we hope to get to SuperCup playoffs and then lets see how far we can make it,” added GM Mr.Pumpkin.

Motol Ducks are delighted to announce that they managed to draft WR Dominik Musil with the 26th pick in the 1st round, K Vincenc Malina with the 52nd overall pick in the second round and QB Blahoslav Tupý with 90th overall pick in the third round.

"This season we went with three Czech players. Domnik Musil is very talented young receiver, who will improve in time, especially with wide receivers like Svatopluk Zíka and Anton Hák on the roster. And hopefully, he will replace them one day. Vincenc Malina is another young guy, who will be a tremendous kicker one day. It seems like a bit of reach to take a kicker in the second round, but I promise you, that Vincenc is worth it, because sky is the limit for him. Now we are set at kicker position for at least a decade. In the third round we took Blahoslav Tupý. He is a depth and developmental player. He won’t probably start in next three seasons or so, but we really hope, that he will help us one day,” said GM Mr.Pumpkin at today's press conference after the draft.

Four players retired after seasons end. All of those players played a huge role for the Ducks on the field and it certainly won’t be easy to replace them.

OG Cetin Fischer joined Motol Ducks at the beginning of the Season 7 (the first season of the franchise history). He was essential part of interior offensive line for five seasons. He dominated especially in the run support. He played in 161 games, in which he recorded 2.384 pancakes (2nd most in franchise history). "From time to time he visited me in Youth Academy and he was very helpful and gave me many priceless advices. Now I have to fill the gap after him and that´s a difficult task. I will do my best, that´s for sure," said OL Emil Kašpárek.

RB Ruben Snodgrass joined Motol Ducks just two days after Cetin Fischer and he became number one RB almost immediately. Then he lost his starting job, when another great RB Hansjürgen Franke came, but he still was very reliable backup and he was on the field during many snaps every game. At the beginning of the last season, when young and talented RB James -G.O.A.T- came, he became third RB and he rarely got to play, but he still was a great teammate and he was mentoring younger players, especially James -G.O.A.T-. "He never was the fastest or strongest guy on the field, but he loved the game and he fought for every yard as hard as he could. That made him such a great player and teammate. It was a pleasure to play with him in one team," said RB Hansjürgen Franke. Ruben Snodgrass played in 118 official games for the Ducks and he recorded 5.495 yards (2nd most in franchise history) and 39 TDs (most in franchise history) in these games.

DL Delmer Oglesby joined Motol Ducks during Season 8. At first he played at NT position, but later on he was moved to DE spot. This was a great move, because Delmer Oglesby became the most dangerous pass rusher. He played in 115 games and during these games he made 434 tackles and 17 sacks, forced 4 fumbles, recovered 1 fumble and scored 1 defensive TD.

SF Boyce Pyle joined Motol Ducks at the very end of Season 8. He was very versatile at SF position and so he was very helpful at both SS and FS position. In his 99 games for the Ducks he missed only three tackles.

"I would like to personally wish all of the four excellent guys only the best in their future lives and thank them for everything they’ve done for Motol Ducks on and off the field", said GM Mr. Pumpkin.

After that they add one more win in the Wildcard round to end the season in the Divisional round.

We managed to beat Galrauch Raiders three times this season, we also beat former League Bowl winners WV BoBcats and Lucentum Dragons and we ended the season with a respectable loss to Phoenix Firebirds – another former Bow winner. That is just incredible," said GM Mr.Pumpkin. "Surely, we weren’t successful in the SuperCup, but we still consider Season 11 to be extremely successful. Probably even the best. Ever," added Motol Ducks GM.

Most importantly Svatopluk stepped up in the most crucial stages of the season. He ended this season with 2.663 catching yards and 36 TDs scored.

"The main goal for the next season remains the same. We want to stay in the 1.1 Admirals. There are examples of teams that struggled after successful season. SpringHeel Jacks won their tough division in Season 9 and Season 10 and then they got directly relegated in Season 11. We also want to get as many wins as possible and fight for the playoff spot. But staying up is the main goal," said GM Mr. Pumpkin.

OG Emil Kašpárek is the first ever product of Motol Ducks Youth Academy promoted to play for the senior team. He was born in Prague and when he was 16, he joined Motol Ducks Youth Academy and became one of the best prospects immediately. “He is really strong and he improved a lot his blocking skills and footwork. We think he could have impact on our game instantly,” said OL coach Huáng Tha.

WR Austin Huffman joined Motol Ducks just few days ago and he spent only two training sessions in Youth Academy. “He still needs to work on his physical condition and basic skills like catching and positioning, but we are convinced, that he could be very useful in couple of weeks and probably even a great player in 3 or 4 seasons. Motol Ducks managed to got back to 1.1 Admirals within one season spent in 2.1 Admirals and so they accomplished their main season’s goal.

But it wasn’t that easy. Ducks were perfect in the regular season and with no loss they qualified for the playoffs from the first spot in the league. In the divisional round they beat Rhinos Milano very smoothly 33:0. In the conference championship Ducks faced NAVY and they lost 9:12 in the OT and their chances to win the league after 17 consecutive wins were gone. After this very disappointing loss Ducks needed to fight their way back to the top division in the relegation game. Canopi Miners, who were in deep financial crisis, were their opponents and even before the game it was clear, who would win this game. Ducks won 119:0 and they got promoted to 1.1 Admirals.

“We are extremely happy to be back. Of course, there is still some bitterness after the loss against NAVY. We really wanted to win the league and to qualify to the Champ of the Champs, but the most important thing was to get back. And we did that,” said GM Mr. Pumpkin.

There were also some great individual performances by the Ducks players during the Season 10. Sione Huihahau was named not only the best TE of the 2.1 Admirals, but also the best TE of the whole Admirals Region. Another TE Joshua Dockery was named second best TE of the 2.1 Admirals. Ihor Holík was awarded third best QB of the 2.1 Admirals trophy and Uroš Cicic get trophy for the second best K in the 2.1 Admirals.

“Our main goal for the next season is obvious. We want to stay in the 1.1 division. We are gonna play in NC East, which is highly competitive division with great teams, so it really won’t be easy, but we are ready for it and we look forward to it,” added Mr. Pumpkin.

James -G.O.A.T-, the 20 years old RB from Northern Ireland, was promoted yesterday to the senior team from the youth academy. -G.O.A.T- was bought from Cameroon Turtles and then he spent almost two full seasons in youth academy, where he was working on improving his skills with our coaches.

"He is incredibly talented young guy and I really look forward to see what he’s gonna show us in the future. He still needs to improve to be successful in 1.1 Admirals, but at his age he really is a top player, I would say," said RB coach Garon Boothe yesterday before the Duck Bowl III game against FAJNY TIM.

-G.O.A.T- played 36 snaps with most of them in the second half and he was the key player that kept Ducks drives alive. He recorded 77 yards in 15 carries and one TD.

"It was fun to watch him. He’s strong as hell and he knows how to deliver important yards," said veteran RB Ruben Snodgrass, who was watching him only from the sideline.

"We are delighted to finally have him on board. Today he showed, that we can count on him. Surely, he needs to develop team chemistry with his teammates and he still needs to be working hard to be successful, but we are gonna work on that to make him as ready as possible for the beginning of the season," said GM Mr.Pumpkin after the game. "There will be one more promotion to senior team. Gonçalo da Silva, the Portuguese defensive player will be promoted this week. Ernest Proffit is very talented LB from New Zeland, who is still only 19 years old. Coaching stuff plan to make a SF out of him. "That is true, our no. 1 FS announced that he would retire after this season and Ernest has all the attributes to become a great FS one day," said HC Laisiasa Moore. "I am really looking forward to this challenge. I think that FS spot could be a great fit for me. I can watch Vyacheslav Shatskikh, who is a great FS, and I can learn a lot from him during this season. He has been very helpful so far," said Ernest Proffitt.

Tawfig Najeed is 20 years old Moroccan DL. “He is very promising guy and he is going to have an immediate impact. Great to have him here, said DL assistant coach Stoyko Yosifov. "I am really glad to be drafted by Motol Ducks. I have a chance to play alongside Dante Corbitt for one season. And also Prague is beautiful city," said Tawfiq.

Lorima Sailiosi is 20 years old FB from Fiji. "He could be a great FB, but we have different intentions with Lorima. We really hope to make an OL out of him. Which is bad for me, because I would like to train such a FB, but it is gonna be better that way for the team," said FB assistant coach Teodor Skelic. "Yeah, we are convinced, that he will be a great OT one day. But before that we need to work on his strength and footwork," added OL assistant coach Huáng Tha.

"We are quite satisfied with this years draft. Thanks to the prices on the transfer market we did not manage to bring in some more players, but we started this season very well and we hope to build on that. Hopefully, we are gonna bring one or two players during this season or before the next season. We brought in some young players from the youth academy – Agrima Rajan a great FB, Karlfried Koch and Petr Odehnal two promising OLs and Barbu Manole very solid WR. Motol Ducks got relegated in the Season 9 directly and they will have to spend at least one season in 2.x division trying to get back in the top division, which is arguably the most competitive top division of all.

Ducks won friendly cup Duck Bowl I early in the season, but they struggled in the league almost whole season. They managed to win 4 games (against Flying Donkeys, Galrauch Raiders, BALL SO HAR UNIVERSITY and Arizona Vipers), but it was not enough even for the relegation game. In the seasons end Ducks managed to get in the third round of the SuperCup playoffs, which is considered as a success, but it wasn’t enough to call Season 9 a success.

"OK, we won Duck Bowl I and we got to the third round of the SuperCup playoffs and that is really great, but it doesn’t change anything about the fact, that we failed in completing our main goal of the season – staying in the top division. Now we need to draft well, maybe bring one or two players in the offseason and get ready for our next seasons mission and that is getting back in 1.1 Admirals. We can’t have any other goal for the next season. We are aware of the quality of 2.x division teams, especially in 2.2 division and we know that it won’t be easy for us, but we would be hypocrites, if we didn’t have this goal," said GM Mr.Pumpkin on the press conference.

Motol Ducks are delighted to announce that they managed to draft LB Vladimír Pivonka with the seventh pick in the 1st round, LB Oladele Lemos with the seventh pick in the second round (39th overall pick) and TE Joshua Dockery with the seventh pick in the third round (71st overall pick).

Vladimír Pivonka is talented Czech LB born in Prague, who is only 19 years old. He already played in the friendly cup match against Bretzfeld Bandits for Motol Ducks and he very pleasantly surprised everybody, when he did not miss any out of his 7 tackles against such a strong team. "I am really glad to join Czech team from Prague so that I can stay in the city where I was born and raised. Motol Ducks are perfect fit for me, I think. I can also feel the trust GM and the coaches put in me and I will do my very best not to disappoint them and our fans," said Vladimír at the press conference after the third day of the draft.

Oladele Lemos is 21 years old Angolan LB, who may not ended up as a LB according to his words: "Right after the draft I had brief talk with GM Mr.Pumpkin and some of his defensive coaches and I was told, that there is a 50:50 chance, that I will be moved to SF position. I have to say that I kinda like this idea. We will se what happens," said Oladele with an impish smile on his face.

Joshua Dockery is 20 years old TE from Saint Kitts and Nevis. He grew up in a very poor family and he started to play football seriously just two years ago. Thanks to his raw talent he attracted attention of many teams. "We have an uncut diamond in him," said happy HC Laisiasa Moore right after Joshua was picked.

"We got all the players we wanted and we addressed our biggest needs. I am really excited and I am really looking forward to work with these guys," summarized GM this year’s draft. We wish Beau all the best for the future.

2013-07-06 17:26:27 - Season 8 - Ducks made it!Report Abuse

Ducks beat their former division rivasl from Poland Cracow Bisons in the relegation game and they secured their spot in the 1.1 league for the next season.

After a quiet first quater Ducks scored 8yards rushing TD thanks to RB Hansjürgen Franke and after that they held onto their lead and scored two more rushing TD and two FG to win the game 27:3.

Hansjürgen Franke was named MVP of the game thanks to his 136 rushing yards and one TD. "I don't really care about the MVP awards. I'm just glad, that we saved 1.1 division for the next season, you know. I mean, it is nice to be recognized, but that's not what this game is about," said happy RB.

On the top of that Ducks made it to the Supercup playoffs and they also won Friendly Cup Severnside Trophy I.

"We had one goal and one goal only for this season. To keep our team in the League Admirals 1.1 for Season 9. And we made it. Our passing offense in the relegation game did not work well, but fortunatelly we managed to be successful on the ground and we won the most important game of the season. You know, when I look on those strong teams in 2.1 and 2.2 divisions, it really would be damn hard to get back here."
"If you add Supercup playoffs and Severnside Trophy, I really think, that we can call Season 8 a successful one. Our goal for the next season remains the same - stay in the top division and it won't be easy at all," said GM Mr.Pumpkin on today's press conference.

Ducks made it! They won Severnside Trophy yesterday after beating german team Vilbler Wasserbube and they pleased a bit their fans in a tough and not very successful season.

"It was a great win. We went through some rough times during this season in league and it is huge to get a trophy. Hopefully it will encourage us before Supercup playoffs and especially before relegation game, which is absolute priority for us right now," said GM Mr.Pumpkin while his players were lifting the Cup over their heads one after another.

"It surely is a great win, but we really have to focus on our relegation game," added RB Hansjürgen Franke, who scored two TDs in the match and helped his team significantly.

2013-04-18 13:48:16 - Season 7 - Seven really was a lucky number for the DucksReport Abuse

What a season! Motol Ducks made it to the Bowl and got promoted to the League Admirals 1.1! Mr.Pumpkin took over Ducks just after they got beaten in the play offs last season and he had to face a difficult task. Motol Ducks were devastated and he had to build a brand new team out of nothing. He struggled at the beginning of the season, when Ducks lost first two league games. But following these losses Ducks recorded 16 consecutive league wins and then lost the final match of the season to Frodsham Hamsters.

"It's a tremendous success to get to the Bowl. I had luck on my side to bring some great players and coaches to this team. It was a pleasure to work with these guys," said GM Mr.Pumpkin just few days after the Bowl. "But now we have to focus on the upcoming season, that is already knocking on the door. It won't be easy to compete with those great teams in the first division. We are absolute outsiders, but I hope we are gonna manage it somehow, but it will be tough of course. It is a huge challenge and we are all really looking forward to it," added Mr.Pumpkin.

One of the reasons of the success were great performances of rookie QB Ihor Holík, who achieved 2nd best QB of the League Admirals 2.1 award. "I am honestly grateful to GM for giving me this chance. I will try not to disappoint him and all the fans in the next season," said Holík. Also our TEs were awarded as 2nd best (Jean - Pierre Mary) and 3rd best (Fakihi Fall) TE of the League Admirals 2.1 and Vyacheslav Shatskikh was awarded as 2nd best SF of the League Admirals 2.1.

We hope that Season 8 will be at least a bit as lucky as Season 7 was and that we will stay in League Admirals 1.1 longer than one season
