Tell me, how many games will the Patriots and Bills play this playoffs. Oh right, one! Let a German translate from JonnyP to FootballFan_1: The NFL aligns with most sport from around the world where playoffs are consisting of single chance playoff games. Only some mainly US Sports do series like best of 3, 5 or 7. So, he is damn right with his statement. Makes a hella lot more sense |

I like Packers over Rams, Chiefs over Bengals. Packers over Chiefs. I'm really out on a limb, I know. I think the 9ers beat the Cowboys, then they're toast. I'd like to take a moment to maintain order and sanity in this thread. Also gloat that I was right, of course. The 9ers out-classed the Cowboys, who Mike McCarthy-ed all over themselves, and I expect another good showing in GB this coming weekend, but they'll ultimately be sent home. I'm a fan of everything they've got aside from Janeane Garofalo at QB. Additionally, the Chiefs were always fine, maybe just not taking the regular season seriously enough. I won't go out on a limb in their favor against Buffalo, though I do like them, because Josh Allen looks great. That'll be a fun one to watch. I'm sticking w the final four I listed above. Quarterbacks are important, NFL parity is overhyped. |

Cincinnati vs. Tennesse - Although the Titans are getting Henry back I don't think that run game will be enough to overcome the emerging Mad Bomber Joe Burrow
Winner : Cincinnati. San Fransico vs. Green Bay - I like the 49ers as a stout team & you can't trust Arron Rogers (11-9 in the playoffs). Rogers performances in 'big' games is less than desirable but that being said I think the hallowed field of Lambeau field & expected wind chill of zero with possible snow showers is a lot to overcome. Winner : Green Bay Los Angeles (Rams) Vs. Tampa Bay - The Rams are a classic example of the NY Yankees syndrome of trying to buy a championship & history shows that very seldom works on the football field. West coast teams traveling east have a horrible record (16-38, 29% win rate since '05) & the Rams will have to deal with the G.O.A.T., Tom Terrific & a team fully versed in winning playoff games with Tom at QB. Winner : Tompa Bay Buffalo Vs. Kansas City - To me this is possibly the closet game of the weekend (The closet point spread of all the games at 2 pts.). I admit to a certain bias here as I really don't enjoy watching the Chiefs play school yard football. Mahomes is a fragile QB with several concussions in his very young career & playing school yard ball has to be a concern. The Bills seem to be 'on' & of all the playoff teams (including those eliminated last week) Kansas Cities defense ranked number 7 out of the 12 teams & Buffalo Ranked number 1 of all the playoff teams. Silly Mahomes ... Tricks are for kids. Winner : Buffalo |

Ugly game but I'll take it! They were only going to win if it was ugly.

Both yesterday games not so pretty.
But both of them worth watching. Both with a last second FG. Both 1st seed eliminated. Sometimes it really feels that is better not to have a week of before PO starts. So if Tampa wins today it will be all home games for -G.O.A.T- and company till SB. If Rams win they will have final rehearsal for SB next week. Would like that -G.O.A.T-/Gronk duo win one more SB, but will also be glad they don't (already have to much ) And I am cheering for Bills today, no matter I am Pats fan. Josh Allen is a beast, for me he is beast for beast Mahomes. |

I am hoping the Rams win. 21 times a team has swept another team in the regular season and met again in the playoffs. Of those 21 the team that swept the other won 14 times. That means 66% of the time they beat another team 3 times in a season. Obviously not a guarantee but the Niners are in the Rams head for sure.
If it is vs TB that is ok too, they are down 2 weapons (Brown and Godwin) and the story line of -G.O.A.T- and Jimmy G will be there. |
