Welcome back to Thunder 1.1. Pre-season Show. I hope you all have enjoyed your Christmas break and have now sobered up enough to prepare for the forthcoming season.

Now to continue our look at the divisions we continue with...

NC East

Opole Red Stars are managed by gregn and this is their rookie season at this level.

Slavia Pankrac are managed by MIREK70 and this will be their 10th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 120-24 and have won the Divisional Title from Season 2 to 7 and seasons 9 & 10. They also won the Thunder Bowl in season 8 as wild card entrants.

St Louis Rams are managed by arsenalgunners and this is their rookie season at this level.

Wild Thangs are managed by stizz and this will be their 8th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 64-48 and won the Divisional Title in season 8.

Opole Red Stars join us as the finalists of TB 2.2 and had a very productive season at that level, now they have to transfer that type of performance up another level, but looking at their schedule this may be a tough season for them.

Slavia Pankrac used to be the team to beat in this conference, but ,with the exception of their TB win in season 8, that infallibility has been worn away by improvements from a number of teams in other divisions in this conference. Can MIREK get their air of mystique and invincibility back?
We will just have to see what the future holds for them.

St Louis Rams joins us as the finalist of TB 2.1 and in doing so pulled off the biggest surprise in the play offs by winning at Severnside Falcons and Goldrush, also new members to 1.1 and giving London Bulldogs a good run in the bowl game. Now can they do the same here? Looking at their schedule I would say NO, but we have seen rookies over come the schedule before.

Wild Thangs have been trying time and again to overcome Slavia Pankrac's control of this division, but have been left wanting more often than not. Beating them now and again is not good enough if you are inconsistent against other teams you play in your schedule. stizz has got to get his team to regularly play at that higher level if he wants to take control of this division.

Position Forecast
1. Slavia Pankrac
2. Wild Thangs
3. Opole Red Stars
4. St Louis Rams

Now for another commercial break and we will return to talk about NC North

Back again to the Thunder 1.1 Pre-Season Show as we go onto...

NC North

Bavarian Bratwursts are managed by Ultrasofa who are about to enter their 7th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 58-38 and the won the Divisional Title in season 6.

China Chimp are managed by Tashpereira777 and are also about to enter their 7th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 56-40 and have won the Divisional Title in seasons 5 & 10.

Quarry Bay Raiders are managed by Mark_C666 and are about to entered their 6th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 57-25 and have won the Divisional Title from season 7 to season 9.

salamander assassins are managed by andrakh and are entering their 2nd season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 4-12.

At one stage last season Bavarian Bratwursts were strolling to the divisional title then they hit a brick wall and lost their last five games. Ultrasofa will not want to see that again or the fact that he has become the proverbial runner up in this division since he last won it in season 6. Now is the time to find something to break that hoodoo.

China Chimps win of the division last season showed that Taspereira777 has been closely looking at the way his team had been playing over the last few seasons. Something was found, but is it good enough to continue winning ways in this tough division.

Quarry Bay Raiders were obviously taken by surprise at the improvement from other teams last season, eventhough it was a tough schedule. Mark_C666 will just have to put that one down to experience and concentrate in turning some of those results around this season as that is all that is needed to get the divisional title back.

In his rookie season andrakh found enough to only be caught up in the relegation play offs, which he won nicely. Now to step up to the plate and start competing in the division. salamander assassins need to find ways to beat their divisional rivals to have a chance to avoid the drop.

Position Forecast
1. Bavarian Bratwursts
2. Quarry Bay Raiders
3. China Chimp
4. salamander assassins

We will see you back to the next edition of the Pre-Season Show tomorrow with the NC South...

And welcome back to Thunder 1.1 Pre-Season Show.

Now we move onto...

NC South

Guisborough Priors are managed by Bovakian and are about to enter their 9th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 81-47 and they have won the Divisional Title in seasons 5 & 6.

Packers are managed by Farmer and they are about to enter their 5th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 26-38.

South Georgia Red Beavers are managed by Osceola and are about to enter their 6th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 44-36.

Styrian Bears are managed by Buddy Ryan and are about to enter their 5th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 54-10 and have won the Divisional Title from season 7 to 10 and also are the reigning champions of the Thunder Bowl.

Bovakian must be wondering what to do with his Guisborough Priors. All attempts to close the gap on Styrian Bears have started well then slipped away and now South Georgia Red Beavers overtaking them. Much will have to improve if he wants to get another Divisional Title or maybe Packers will catch him up as well.

Yet another nearly season for Packers last time. Is Farmer going to find that extra yard? Shoring up the defense has to be his main aim then the possibility of a winning season will come to him and really make this division the strongest.

Osceola now has to build even more on a very successful season. His South Georgia Red Beavers are now proving that they are play off material and may even be bowl contenders in the future. However even Osceola knows that there are no room for errors and he must make the most of his opportunities to succeed.

All hail the new champion. Styrian Bears have now put everyone to the sword and won that title that they have strived for since they were promoted. Can Buddy now create a dynasty like notsch? Being in the toughest division in the league could give him the grounding, but the other three teams in the division all want that title as well.

Position Forecast
1. Styrian Bears
2. South Georgia Red Beavers
3. Guisborough Priors
4. Packers

After this final break we will preview NC West, the NC Conference and a brief overview of the whole league.

Good to see you all back for the final part of Thunder 1.1 Pre-Season Show.

In this part of the show we will wrap up the division preview along with a look at the NC Conference and a brief outlook on the league as a whole, but first the...

NC West

London Bulldogs are managed by JohnLegend who are about to enter their 2nd season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 4-12.

Lucentum Penguins are managed by chabi who are about to enter their 10th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 119-25 and have won the Divisional Title from seasons 2 to 8.

Northants Kites are managed by talbot68 and this will be their rookie season at this level.

SimKonville Fraggles are managed by SimKon who are about to enter their 4th season at this level.
Their 1.1 record is 41-7 and have won the Divisional Title in seasons 9 & 10.

London Bulldogs return to the top level after one season at the lower level where they were undefeated. Has this taught JohnLegend anything? Well he returns with a stronger team than last time and he was unlucky on his previous visit to this level, however a tough schedule will need them to be up and running from the start.

chabi is the fourth manager in the league who is reaching his 10th season at this level, however the last two seasons has seen a major drop in his success level. Lucentum Penguins strong defense now needs some help from it's offense to climb back towards SimKonville Fraggles or they could well be caught by the new members of the division.

Northants Kites have reached this level a season later than they were originally expecting, but that has given talbot68 the extra chance to strengthen his team and show with his undefeated season last season in the lower level that he is more than ready to take on the challenge at this level. Not much difference in their schedule compared to London Bulldogs so they have to be up and running from the start.

Having run notsch close in Thunder Bowl 9, SimKon must have thought he had a better chance last season, but a hammering by Buddy's Bears must have been a shock. Divisional wise, they should claim a hattrick of titles in the forthcoming season, but how far in the play offs they will go will depend on many things.

Position Forecast
1. SimKonville Fraggles
2. Lucentum Penguins
3. Northants Kites
4. London Bulldogs

Recent seasons have shown that the NC Conference has become more competitive. There is no team that stands out as the team to beat, eventhough Styrian Bears and SimKonville Fraggles have fought out the last two Conference Championships, any of about half a dozen teams could be this years Conference champions.

Like the AC Conference, the NC divisions could see a lot closer divisional battles especially the North and South.

This seasons crop of promoted teams are the strongest selection that has ever been promoted to the top level, so relegation is now a real possibility for some experienced managers. For once I feel that we could really see two new faces in the Thunder Bowl.

Anyway I wish everyone good luck for this season and hope we can improve our record in the Supercup and the CofC to start shutting those Admirals guys up.

Before we close just to remind you all to post your comments during the season and to have a go at the prediction game.
