SO the preview for the Thunder 1.1 season 12 season.

AC East
Although this division has seen only one winner the past 3 seasons there are good teams from top to bottom.

Chelsea Raiders last season 16-0
Had there best season ever both in the league and supercup in season 11. They have been masters of consistency only losing 3 games in 3 seasons in the 1.1 league and finally managed to reach a bowl final where they lost to the bears 41-20. Definitely have to be considered as one of the favourites for the title.

Die Verdammten 11-5
Made a big step forward last season reaching the PL for the first time after coming close the previous two seasons. The key to there success was the two wins they had over the renegades. They are yet to find a way to beat the Raiders but came close at home losing narrowly 21-16 even though they were the better team. They would do well to equal last seasons record but if they do they can expect to reach the PL again.

Juan Renegades 9-7
Last season saw them fail to reach the PL for the first time since season 5 as there 9-7 record fell a little short. They have a real quality team but lack consistency at times which they will have to work on if they ever want to win the divisional title again but to do that they will have to find a way to beat the Raiders which they have not managed to do in 6 attempts. Despite slipping to 3rd in the division last season I feel the Renegades are the Raiders biggest challengers.

Totoras Patriots 6-10
Have found themselves at the bottom of this division the past 5 seasons. Its not the lack of quality but rather the lack of game planning which is the Patriots downfall.

Position and record prediction
Chelsea Raiders 14-2 PL
Renegades 11-5 PL
Die Verdammten 10-6
Totoras Patriots 5-11

AC North
Two seasons ago this was a really competitive division but with the Marshes going bot and the convicts close to going bot there is only going to be one winner of this division for the next few seasons at least.

General Rodriguez Warriors 12-4
back to there best reclaiming there division with an impressive 12-4 record and the division pretty much has there name on it already for at least another 3 or 4 seasons. I actually fancy the Warriors to do even better this year and have a deep run in the PL. Dark horses for the title.

Sydney Convicts 9-7
When times get tough the tough go... bot it appears. im kind of sad to see my nemesis go bot but clearly some people are not able to rise to the challenge.

Mean Machine N/A
They were promoted as 2.2 champs and have been in the game for a while now and have a solid team. They find themselves in a division where they could make an impact and pick up a few wins. I see them having little issues staying up but to soon to make it to the PL. Definitely a team to look out for in the future and I can see them pushing for a wildcard spot in 2 to 3 seasons time.

Flow Gaming N/A
Were promoted via a relegation match vs the bot team the Nicks Rams. I think with the two wins they will get from the convicts they have a good chance of avoiding the auto relegation but will find this season a struggle unless they can game plan well to make up for the lack of quality. Maybe a trip into the TM is needed.

General Rodriguez Warriors 13-3 PL
Mean Machine 7-9
Flow Gaming 3-13 relegation match
convicts 0-16 relegation

AC South
Definitely one of the better divisions in the league with 3 possible PL teams involved.

Landru Athletics 13-3
No title in two seasons and failing to win the AC conference championship for the first time since season 3. Landru by there high standards are some what in a slump. No doubt there stars are getting older and starting to retire over the next few seasons so will need to rebuild but don't be fooled, the team is full of champions and anyone would be stupid to write them off. The only question is are they hungry enough to get back on top?

Budapest Wolves 10-6
reached the Pl
for the 3rd season in role despite losing a few games you would think they should have one easily. One of the best rated teams in the whole of the RZA and if they make it to the PL and get a few nice dice rolls then there is no reason why they cant go all the way.

Joburg Brawlers 7-9
Not reached the PL since season 7 and recorded there first losing record. They got off to a slow start last season and will have to start a lot better otherwise they may find themselves slipping closer to the relegation zone rather the wildcard spots.

Prague Lions 4-12
Looking like another team who may go bot so I wont waste my time with a preview.

Landru Athletics 13-3 PL
Budapest Wolves 11-5 PL
Joburg Brawlers 8-8
Prague Lions 0-16 relegation

AC West
Vienna Falcons have had there name on this division since season 6 and I would expect them to keep it fairly easily for at least another 3 or 4 seasons.

Vienna Falcons 15-1
recording there best win tally in the league last season but once again failed to beat Landru in the PL despite beating them comfortably in the league. Maybe its the lack of competition in there division which means the players are not ready for the pressure games or just lacking a bit of luck but for some reason the Falcons fail to make a big impact in the PL and are still searching for there first Bowl appearences and its not getting any easier as the AC gets more and more competitive at the top.

Texas Roadrunners 5-11
The roadrunners had an awful second half of the season which meant they were not far off having to play a relegation match. But there seems to be pattern and that is after a losing season the road runners then get a winning record the next season. Im not to sure that will happen this year but time will tell.

Severnside Falcons 5-11
They managed to avoid relegation last year by winning 3 of there last 4 games and they will be looking to take that form into this season. There main priority has to be to avoid relegation again which I think they should be able to do with a plan to push for second in the division.

Heidelberg Λquλnλuts N/A
Making there return to the 1.1 league after being runners up in the 2.1 thunder title. They find themselves in a slightly easier division then the one they were in previously but there team doesn't seem to have developed since they were last in the league and I think they will struggle again.

Vienna Falcons 14-2 PL
Texas Roadrunners 7-9
Severnside Falcons 6-10
Heidelberg Λquλnλuts 2-14 relegation match

NC East
This division has been contested by the same two teams for quite sometime now and I don't see that changing for a couple more seasons at least.

Wild Thangs 11-5
equalled there best league record last season and managed to win there second divisional title at the expense of there divisional rival Slavia Pankrác. The Thangs have a very solid team but if they want to go further in the PL they will have to game plan better. I think the tide has changed and I see the Thangs as the team to beat in the NC East.

Slavia Pankrác 8-8
Since they won the title back in season 7 Slavia Pankrác have found themselves in decline. The advantage they had in there teams quality was enough to see them through and saw them in the bowl game season after season but many teams have caught up and left them behind. Game planning is now needed if they ever want there glory days to return.

Pucela Towers N/A
There 3rd trip to the 1.1 league. The winner of the 2.1 thunder league has usually gone on to do well in the top league but I don't think that will be the case for the Towers. Its going to be a tough season and the division games against the Toronto Tigers will be vital if they want to stay up.

Toronto Tigers N/A
Been in the game for little over 4 months, not even two full seasons yet they find themselves in the top flight after winning the thunder 3.3 title and finishing as runners up in the 2.2 league...impressive. I fear they find themselves in the top league to soon as even spot on tactics may not be enough to see victory against some of the better teams. if they do go down I hope they don't get to disheartened and see the bigger picture and come back bigger and better. I wish them luck as I see them as a team with a lot of potential.

Wild Thangs 11-5 PL
Slavia Pankrác 9-7
Pucela Towers 2-14 relegation match
Toronto Tigers 2-14 auto relegation on PD

NC North
Always been one of my favourite divisions to watch as I feel anyone of the teams can win this division and this has been proved with 3 different winners in the past 3 seasons.

Bavarian Bratwursts 11-5
Should of won this division back in season 10 but lost there last 5 which saw them fail to do so. But they made sure not to repeat that mistake and clinched the division with a solid 11-5 record. I see them as the stronger team of this division but only just and they can not afford to drop any easy games as there divisional rivals are snapping at there heels.

China Chimp 9-7
Losing there last 4 games of the season saw them not only lose the division title but also a PL place. Very solid team but all the teams in the division are so closely matched that they will beat each other making it hard to gain a wildcard spot so the chimps will have to aim for the divisional title to make sure they reach the PL.

Quarry Bay Raiders 9-7
They were the top dog in this division a couple of seasons ago and were looking like a team that had thunder bowl champion potential but they have been on a small decline, no doubt to the super competitive division they are in. A poor 1st half of the season saw them with to much to do but they did win 6 of there last 8 and if they can keep that form going into the new season then other teams around the league should be aware the Quarry Bay Raiders are back to there best.

salamander assassins 8-8
Got to be one of my favourite teams to watch as you never know how they will preform from game to game. They have proved they can beat strong opponents but then the next game they get destroyed. One thing is certain and that is the salamander assassins after avoiding relegation in there first season have pushed on and find themselves as a solid middle team despite being fairly young as a franchise. Definitely a team with potential but still maybe need 1 more season before they are realistic division contenders.

Bavarian Bratwursts 10 -6 PL
Quarry Bay Raiders 10-6 PL
China Chimp 8-8
salamander assassins 7-9

NC South
Has seen 3 teams go to the PL in the previous 2 seasons. can this trend continue?

Styrian Bears 15-1
Have been to the bowl the past two seasons and have left as the champ twice. definitely the team to beat as they are the reining champ who have a lethal pass attack which is near impossible to get any pass rush on them with there high speed QB. Ryan will want more of the same in the league and may well set his sights on a deep run in the inter regional cups.

Guisborough Priors 10-6
Have seen themselves as runners up in this division the past 4 seasons and its hard to see that changing. Another season where they have to aim for a more realistic target of gaining a wildcard spot but they will have to keep an eye on the beavers who are pushing them hard for second place in the division.

South Georgia Red Beavers 10-6
Been to the PL the last 2 seasons and no doubt will be hoping for the same this year. One thing is for sure, if they do make it to the PL then they will have to work on there defensive game plan if they ever want to go far in the PL as they can not get away with it when they come up against the best teams in the league.

Packers 5-11
Find themselves slipping further and further away from the Priors and the Beavers and dangerously close to the relegation zone. They will have to find a way to improve soon but I feel they have enough quality to avoid relegation this season.

Styrian Bears 14-2 PL
Guisborough Priors 10-6 PL
South Georgia Red Beavers 7-9
Packers 5-11

NC West
Sad to see the Lucentum Penguins go bot last season and I feared for the competitiveness of this division as Smkon was already dominating. But I was pleasantly surprised to see the Bulldogs and the Kites do so well. Although not putting up a serious challenge both teams show great potential and Im sure they will slowly see the gap between them and Simkon slowly close over the next few seasons.

SimKonville Fraggles 13-3
Been to the NC conference game the previous 3 seasons and I fancy they will do it again. Smkon can already book there flights for the PL this year and probably the next two or three seasons. Im sure they get a great discount for booking so early as well but they should not be complacent in building there team up otherwise they may find they have competition for this division sooner than they thought.

London Bulldogs 7-9
The Bulldogs return to the top league saw them preform much better with a solid 7-9 record which gives them a strong platform to build on this season. To improve on there record last season will be tough but I see them having no trouble avoiding relegation and a safe midfield position is in there future.

Northants Kites 7-9
finished 3rd in the division last season on PD but an impressive 23-17 win over Simkon makes me think the Kites have more potential then the Bulldogs. Although a bit too soon I don't think the Kites will be far off the WC places and who knows if they manage to cause a few shocks they may find themselves shocking everyone and reaching the PL.

Dolphins Pisa N/A
Were relegated back in season 9 after having some major financial issues and the root cause does not seemed to have been fixed. The managers experience may be enough to see them avoid relegation but until they sort out there stadium they will never progress and at some point will find themselves being relegated again.

SimKonville Fraggles 12 -4
Northants Kites 8-8
London Bulldogs 7-9
Dolphins Pisa 0-16 auto relegation
