Somehow I missed or forgot the promotion to /relegation from the top league - presumably bottom 4 go automatically? Or bottom 8? With slots open for the league from which those bottom teams came? Bottom team from each region? In any case, there will be slots in future to get into the top league.
In a way it seems harsh that a team like Landru or Raiders may not make it now, but, the ENORMOUS player salaries notwithstanding, I admire what Wolves have achieved. They are one of the rare League 1 teams showing a transfer surplus, and have, with the exception of 1 player, built their entire squad from draft and youth academy. On the other hand almost every other team in Thunder 1 has invested heavily in the TM. If Falcons can win through, they also deserve it - the AC has been significantly stronger this season than the NC in general terms. As one of those competing for a slot in the last 4, it would seem a bit sad if the Fraggles and the Bears didn't make it, as they have been the outstanding teams in the NC for the past few seasons. However, I'll be trying my hardest - I wouldn't give the Bears a walkover just to make things nice...  |

Every season, the bottom 2 teams of each (toptop) division get relegated automatically and the 2 Bowl participants from the 1.1 regions will enter the toptopleague - so yes, a lot of turnover each season. talbot68 wrote:

good luck to the thunder teams playing in the supercup. 3 out of 4 of them starting in little over 50 mins and I think all of them have a decent chance. The chimps have the hardest game but im looking forward to watching landru taking on the roma wolves who knocked out the styrian bears in round 1. Should be a good one to watch.

I had a bad feeling before the game and it came true. I had a really good defensive plan but my offence seemed intent on throwing the game away. my backup QB threw 2 interceptions when my main QB Robbie Smit was injured. Then Robbie Smit goes and throws two.
Overall my passing game was awful. By far the lowest completion rate ive seen in a long time. 44 attempts and only 15 catches with 5 interceptions. And that's where I thought I had a big advantage with my CB and WR vs the Celtics CB and WR. good luck to the falcons and landru who are the last teams flying the thunder flag. oh the joys of another season in thunder 1.1 to look forward to where I will dominate, go 16-0 and then when the playoffs come round my players fall apart.
I may have to lose a few next season so that it appears to make sense why my players preform so badly when it comes to the playoffs. It wasn't funny to begin with but after 5 season in the top flight its really getting tiresome that it keeps happening. I wouldn't mind if the players play like they normally do and lose but they start making mistakes that they never do in the regular season especially my pass game. 5 seasons in a row, I think my players are cursed or just chokers. |
