Well as predicted Season 18 was a real "Whacky Scoreline" season.

It was a transitional season to end all transitional seasons. In the end 8 teams went Bot and the difference level between some of the experienced teams and the newer teams, who decided to stay, proved my prediction right.

Putting that aside some of the new managers, who stayed, have heeded the advice given and have pushed on with developing their infrastructure as quickly as possible, while a few are still climbing that ladder. This will only make this league more competative as stadiums are maxed out and managers play the Transfer Market wisely while utilizing their Youth Academies to strengthen their squads over the coming seasons.

This will give hope to all. A more competative league will lead, hopefully, to others having an opportunity to get to the Elite League and not the same teams going up then coming back down to whack us so their can go straight back up. (Be warned wiesengrund)

The Divisional Titles went to the teams that were generally expected to win them, thanks janos for spoiling my predictions , but that might not be the future in some divisions. So it's congratulations to Vienna Falcons, Flow Gaming, Xu Da, Severnside Cardinals, Budapest Wolves, salamander assassins, Totoras Patriots and Girona Atzugavers.

There is automatic relegation for the Bot teams of Redskins, Obama, conz and Thanet Thunder. Relegation play offs for Bot teams Indianapolis Colts, Bluecollar Bisons and Big blue. Managed team Premolo 69ers have to hope they get a decent draw in the Play Offs or use Bot Flush, if unsuccessful, to see if they remain instead of Bot team New England Patriots.

From Thunder 2.1 we should see either Hucknall Broncos or Amersfoot Alligators come up from the NC Confeference as Champions and the other through the Play Offs. The AC Conference Play Off teams are all new managers so it could be anyone of them coming from that side. Premolo will have to be aware that the 3rd strongest team in the NC Conference, Vile Vikings, might opt for Bot Flush if their Play Off run is not successful.

From Thunder 2.2 Deflators from the NC and Slaughter from the AC should be the Bowl finalists. The SQUALES of Beach or LM Pirates from the NC should be in the Promotional/Relegation Play Offs. Divers are my favourites for those Play Offs from the AC as three of the other teams are new managers and the fourth one is Bot.

In preparation of doing this little piece I had a look around all the teams and in general we are all doing quite well. Though there is still a wide variance in team strengths, though I can see that gap closing and some teams have already proved that using a playbook based on your team strengths can win you games against the supposed stronger teams.

As we come to the end of the season nearly all of us are financially settled only Nutwood Squirrels and Badalona Tigers seem to be struggling a little bit. With the exception of Premolo, Knuckleheads and Nutwood we all have maxed stadiums, so they should know what their target should be next season.

Of those possibly joining us next season Hucknall and Amersfoot have maxed stadiums and squads that might surprise, from the rest Vile Vikings, Slaughter, Deflators and The SQUALES are progressing well. If these guys understand the long view they will help create Thunder 1.1 into a very competative league.

One final congratulations to Buddy Ryan and his Bears for making my prediction for Thunders Elite Division come true, no hard feelings notsch.

Pff, at least one more BOT team next season due to relegation game between Hackney Marshes and pittsburgh Steelers. Or maybe someone will promote through bot flush?

No Jetto.

Pete is still running Level 3 leagues in the background and still does promotion/relegation playoffs as he did when he was sending all newbies to level 3 for starters. This is done in the hope that RZA becomes more popular again, but obviously it needs a large influx of new players to have all levels working properly, somewhere in the region of at least double the number of players now playing.

Well the Conference Games are out of the way and congratulations to Budapest Wolves and Vienna Falcons hope you have a great Thunder Bowl. Have a good season in the Elite and better fortune than before.

Speaking of the Elite, congratulations to Buddy Ryan, who has taken his Bears to the Elite Bowl, the first time for a Thunder team to be there. Hope you can stitch up the Spartans and give us an Elite Bowl at last.

Further news from notsch "House clearing has begun. Time to clear out the old wood and let the new show the way". Hard luck in the Conference Play Off against Buddy, my friend, I hope your little addition at home is not tiring you out too much.

To those who are joining me in the Turkey Shoot Cup from Sunday 25th October have competition and learn all you can, Jetto, from the big boys, as I will surely be trying to pinch knowledge from them as well.

Thanks Bova! My guys might have used up all the luck already to make it past Landru though and the Spartans are a really good team too, lets see if I stand a chance to make this one a close

Congrats to the Wolves and the Falcons! Nice to have the two of you back in the Elite League
