8 injuries in the game, with 2 in the first minute. These teams don't like one another very much. Hard fought, despite the score. Cheers!

Good game Gambler

I have no idea what happened here. Up to the beginning of the 2 Q everything runs "normal" but then, suddenly...
I find the score too high for these almost equal strong teams.
Lost is lost.

Nuremberg is in mourning.

It's so quiet here. Maybe interupt the silence with a few early playoff speculations?

In the AC it's looking as if Cripplers could meet either Marauders or Spitfires (hopefully, for me, at home) in a Conference Finale. Taking into account Marauders difficult remaining games, Spitfires might well enjoy home field advantage against Marauders in the game prior to the CF. What a show down! However, any of the other teams, ie Stallions, Muscets or Templers, will do their best to stage an upset.

In the NC the Wildcats have acted for the first part of the season as a force to reckon with, before getting hammered by Orcs and Templers, when their defense exposed itself as a liability. Guinness Drinkers? Tradition will keep themout of the Bowl, so we won't have to worry about them. Remaining serious contenders for the bowl will be one of the Usual Suspects of Orcs, Bandits, Hurricanes and Sheep: four managers as old as Earth itself, having played this game since the beginning of time. My personal prediction for the CF would be Orcs at home vs Hurricanes, with a Hurricanes away win.

I have not added the Daydream Titans as a contender purely due to it's impossible rest program. Either Stallions, Guinness Drinkers or Umbrella Sheep will probably manage to keep them, at least for this year, out of the playoffs.

Edit: after a convincing win against Stallions, Titans have actually got a very realistic chance to qualify. Showdown with Sheep!

dammit....

453 yards vs 387 yards, 60% vs 40% possession, nevertheless a loss.

Saarbruecken Orcs 16:28 San Diego Hurricanes

Gets me back to PD tie breaker ... Spitfires will likely get homefield, regardless. They've faced two bots, and the current tie breaker almost always defaults to this ... who faced more bot teams. Beating out Spitfires by over 300 PD in "real games" was easily erased by those two matches.

My only real hope for home field advantage at this point, would be for Ramdozers to pull off a stunning upset in W17. Considering he hasn't logged in for nearly a month, I consider this extremely unlikely.

Nevermind that Templars is always a good fight, and I have never beaten the Stallions in our two meetings. (Granted the last was in Season 14 and my team has grown quite a bit since then.)

Regardless of Spitfires great performance this season, I have always been disgruntled for the same reason. I remember the first complaints about the issue were already voiced back in season 2. Not only do teams that play more bots get an automatic win, but they also raise the PD through the roof. We've all had to deal with it.
