Congrats to Lawinenhund for winning his first Thunder Bowl, bad luck for SimKon.
It has shown that the gap between us normal 1.1's and the Elite tryouts is still there. One of us has got to find a way to break this six team domination of Bowl appearances and promotions some time soon, stizz managed it once. On other news there is congrats to noelonfire and his Bogan Galaxy for winning the 2.1 Bowl and to thomastem and his Divers for winning the 2.2 Bowl. We will see them next season. Also coming up ShockJayy and his Missouri Red Wolves, 2.1 Bowl Fianlist and fonset and his Andorre Skyhawks, 2.2 Bowl Finalists. From the Relegation Play Offs nutwood and his Squirrels survived to play again next season. New faces to come are barschti and his Flerschem Fliegers, oakbark and his Ville Vikings and Fijer and his LM Pirates, all who won their play off matches. That will leave two Bot Flush places to fill and the likely candidates are bobpenfold and his Bobby Dazzlers, flamers and his funflamers, dtown14 and his Dtown Muckdogs and possibly smokerteer and his Chesterton Cheese, though he may decide not to do Bot Flush and play another season in 2.1. Who would have believed that the toughest division from Season 18, NC East, would be a complete change when Season 20 rollover is complete. 3 teams going Bot in one 1.1 division is unheard of, so janos or wiesengrund will find it surreal playing in a division of newly promoted level 2's after a tough season in the Elite league. One final note is that I noticed an old friend has rejoined the Thunder Zone, welcome back Finglow and his Prague Lions in Thunder 2.1 for Season 20. I will open the Season 20 thread after Season Rollover is complete and start welcoming you all to the new season. |
