No matter how much income you have, and at what price you sell, as long as you sell at a profit, you have an average daily profit of 35k-42k including the matchday earnings. It really depends only on the purchase price.

just for fun ... someone, lets give him (or her) a random name like aehm aehm Bete for instance, could create a best of the best "Salesman" Chronic List, that everyone can look at league- and globalwise for pride and honor
To honor the best Salesman at the end of each season, his Team Name should contribute as Name Patron for one of the Sponsornames next season. |

I simply analyzed each price point in excel over a large number or seasons. I did this to find the best price point per item. For my team over about 8 seasons it is: Calendars- 29 Fingers- 29 Footballs- 43 Helmets- 335 Jerseys- 107 Shirts- 30 I took the raw text data from the output in the Economy tab and used text to columns to isolate each variable after a filter. Then I ran tests on each price point and the number sold at that price point. I did this over 8 seasons. Keeping my cost the same each 2 seasons. Thus in seasons 1 and 2 bought in bulk. In season 3 and 4 I bought the next up. etc. After all was said and done the above numbers next to the items provided the most Net Profit for my team. Can anyone confirm / correct this ? |

I've used these prices forever...but I don't know if it's optimized. Somebody long ago came up with these numbers:
Calendars- $30 Fingers- $30 Footballs- $40 Helmets- $320 Jerseys- $100 Shirts- $30 Wondering if the optimal price depends team success and league level. Thanks, Steve SD Blitz |

1. Are the costs (for the same quantity) fixed in stone?
2. And do the bought quantities deteriorate at some point? I presume the answers are YES to 1., NO to 2. In which case, assuming even the highest amount bought will sell, eventually, the best option is always to buy the highest quantity possible? Otherwise the difference in the costs (which are deterministic) can be higher than the difference in the gain (which always involves some uncertainty). Am I missing something here? EDIT: Hmm.. I think I _WAS_ missing something. If I buy a huge quantity not having a clue about the selling price, I can lose a lot of money if all of it is sold much below the optimal price, or if I don't sell anything for a week because the price was too high. I was just trying to figure out why there are options to buy different quantities and I think I know now Last edited on 2023-01-01 11:12:46 by jpnwrt |

My advice for all of you is to try different scenarios.
Open your excel, run 7 days with one prices, 7 days with other and go 7 by 7 days with different prices as long as you want. Main goal should be PROFIT that you make (earnings - expenses), not amount of money that you see in your economy page. I ran my like 15 seasons ago and I found my best prices so they are the same from that point. But I will keep those prices to myself |
