Great write up! Just did my own order and its funny to see the similarities and differences in the player valuation. Nicklas Paine as highlight.. have him as number 71

Probably a 5th rounder in a 3 round draft....?  |

It is nice to have such feedback. I was already expecting some big differences in some positions. Paine was a last minute selection while writing those lines. I usually follow my "scoring function" to rank players but I think I have chosen him based in my feeling. Morten Fucik would be the DL #1 too. |

But this score is just a guide specially when the scores are close. 5 star talent is a misleading stat and probably the most overrated one at that. If you use it fully, you get a vastly overtrained player with a salary you cannot really keep for long.

I used to think the same way. But now I am strugling with some 2.5 and 3* talent guys that could not raise their abilities anymore. Surely a 5* talent may be too much but if you are able to spend some money with a top player it may be helpful.
Despite saying it I acknowledge that Paine's talent mislead my evaluation. But I reassure him as my #4 DL, close to #3. His drawback is the age imho. |

Well a 2,5 talent guy on 42.5 skill is more than enough to reach my self imposed salary cap
