Keep going with the progress you are making as you have seen off the Destroyers (who went bot) and you will start to add divisional winners trophies

Making the playoffs gives you extra games which gives you extra income

A club shop does add a little additional income and isn't that much of a distraction (there is an auto alert that notifies when you are low on stock)

Try not to promote players from the Youth Academy too soon as they get Exp whilst there and won't in the senior team if not playing

In Bot games (or friendlies) I always play my reserves so giving them opportunity to earn Exp and also so that some of my fully Exp seniors don't burn PC. However be careful with Bots as there are some that are extremely strong and are not to be underestimated (top teams that have just gone bot)

It is great to see you on an upward curve and hope you will have a great run in the Supercup representing Thunder

Excellent advice above.....spot on. This is what I do as well. Just try and keep salaries down. As you progress, salaries will eat you alive.

Just make sure you don't train but 1 or 2 players to max stats. If you do more than that, it is not sustainable. Then try to figure out where your break even point is based on your income. Some people can train up other players to 45, some 43, some 40. It all depends on how many max players you have, and what your income is. Everyone will be different.

This is just me, but for bots or friendlies, I sit any players with 5-star experience or 30 plus in age.

Even if they are a starter in league play, but have less than 5-star experience, I play them in bots or friendlies. Helps them reach 5-star experience faster which is an important factor for my team.

Also, The fan shop can only help in my opinion.

Dumplings big match reviews of 8th December:

Basterds 16:15 Wolverines - In a battle of the unbeatens an extraordinary finish was served. The Wolverines were leading 13:15 with only 58 seconds left in the game and they had the ball at the opposition 43 yard line on a 2nd and 12. I'm sure that most coaches would choose to rush the ball on the both the 2nd and 3rd downs so running the clock out and winning. Not the Wolverines who with the motto "live by the sword, die by the sword" decided to pass......and with that the Bastards MLB Reginald Gaul intercepted and returned it 35 yards setting up a FG with which the Basterds could win the game and preserve their own unbeaten run. Magnificent.

Bulldogs 34:28 Xu Da - A late 4th quarter TD saw the Bulldogs pull off the win in a game where their offensive coach stuck to a simple playbook - rush 33 times out of Flexbone and I-formation and pass 30 times out of SW2 and SW4. Who knew that this tactic would work...but work it did especially against the Xu Da defensive coach who himself used only 2 formations all game (4-3-4 and Dime).

Wild Thangs 28:35 Eskimos - Wild Thangs suffered their first loss against an Eskimos team rebounding from last weeks tough loss to the Whitings. The Eskimos were powered by their RB Zlatko Barisic who had figures of 23 att for 144 yards and 2 TDs. Their offensive line looks good as they also didn't give up a sack.

Next weeks big games:
Wolflings @ Attack Dogs - Only 1 loss between them

FBGM @ Astronomers - A battle of the Bots (of which we now have 7 and maybe 8 if Moustache Men don't log in soon)

Dumplings big match reviews of 12th December:

Juggernaut 16:19 Wild Thangs - We all love a game that needs OT to separate the teams especially when there is a wild comeback that results in a team losing its unbeaten status. Congratulations Wild Thangs for the never say die attitude with a 47 yard FG with 22 seconds left on the clock and then another 43 yarder in OT to win the game.

Wolflings 13:26 Attack Dogs - Another team losing its unbeaten record as the Attack Dogs controlled this game from the off by intercepting the Wolflings QB on the first play of the game. Always in control in this game are the Attack Dogs now an outside (or even inside) bet for the NC Championship?

FGBM 7:21 astronomers - bot v bot games are being more common so lets's start watching (and cheering) which ones are likely to avoid automatic relegation - I was cheering on astronomers for this one if only because they don't start their team name with a capital letter.

Boonley Bulldozers 16:21 Destroyers - Ever seen a bot beat a real life team? Well here you go !!! Boonley playing for the draft pick.

So with the shock results from this week we are down to only 3 unbeaten teams.

Next weeks big games:
Mantis @ Dumplings - Only 1 loss between them

Basterds @ Wolflings - Only 1 loss between them

I fully expect to get blown out against the Dumplings. Not sure it will qualify as a Big Matchup this week, but will be interesting to see the result.

Now....to prepare my playbook!

Dumplings big match reviews of 12th December:

Mantis 14:31 Dumplings - A low scoring 1st half with the Dumplings creeping to a 0-10 lead before an explosion of points in the 2nd half where the Dumplings still outscored Mantis to collect the win and remain unbeaten.

Basterds 12:24 Wolflings - A close game at the half 5:7 until a big 3rd Qtr for the Wolfings with an interception and 2 TDs allowed them to pull away. Basterds tried to stay close with a fumble recovery and a further TD of their own but in the end the Wolflings were just too strong in the 4th Qtr and become 1 of 5 teams in the AC with just 1 loss.

Wolverines 23:35 Bulldogs - 2 losses in 3 games now for the Wolverines as they fall to a Bulldogs team that have now won 4 in a row. Bulldogs passed 33 times out of SG2 and 17 times out of Singleback Spread. When you play these Bulldogs make sure your secondary is ready for the air attack.

And now with the Basterds loss we have just 2 unbeaten teams left (both in the NC)

Next weeks big game:
Mantis @ Attack Dogs - Top 2 in NC South square off.....
