And Novak Djokovic just won his 3rd straight Wimbledon (6th overall), 20th grand slam (tied at No 1 all time with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal) and tomorrow he is starting his 329 week as No 1 in the world (best all time). So excitement of Serbian fans once again gone to him

Game day is here.
Ducks stayed in England till Sunday night because of Euro 2020 finals. They watched terrible decisions by England coach Southgate who put 2 "cold" players to shoot penalties 3 and 4, and the youngster one to tako penalty No. 5. After Ducks made Bobbers fans desperate on Saturday, Italy made all of England fans desperate on Sunday. Tough weekend for the fans in the UK that is for sure. Ducks landed in Serbia on Monday morning, went to Pozarevacki Hipodrom to check quality of the pitch and to try to get familiar with the potential atmosphere. In their statement they said that the stadium is in top quality, just like they expected it to be for a conference championship. Further they said they are very happy that they have a chance to come to Serbia for this match, to visit their friendly club, to see some great monuments in Pozarevac (Milena Pavlovic Barili museum, memorial park Cacalica, stables of Ljubicevo). They are focused, they have a great run of results in PO defeating reigning champs Malones and absolute favorite Bobbers and they want to continue their fantastic streak to show the RZA world that nickname Losing is out of date for them. Team is ready, not even a minor injuries, not even a minor problem. Elephants are ready too. After an night out alcohol Saturday, after an free Sunday morning and afternoon with first (relax) training on Sunday evening they put all of them on the pitch yesterday with three trainings and with morning tactical training today. They are roaring, they can't wait for this match, they can't wait to see friendly club on the other side. From the locker room you can constantly hear old Serbian song which will sound in English like "go to battle all the heroes, go and do not think about your life..." with drums in the background (it sounds much better in Serbian "U boj krenite junaci svi, krenite i ne žalite život svoj"  ).
Either way who ever win this match losing team will be cheering for them in SB. That is a beauty playing friendly club. Both clubs hoped for a miracle to face each other in conference championship and both miracles happened. General manager of Elephants decided to watch game live today. We will see will that bring extra pressure to home team, certainly visiting team will have one more reason to give their best. Elephants retiring players are one that are giving boost to all of the team, they are most loud on the pitch and in the locker room. They know that this is their only chance to play in SB and they will do anything to get there. Divac, Stojanovic, Vitocco and Thomas, four musketeers, four guys that we will miss so much next season. Today 20h Serbian time, 18h server time, Elephants vs Ducks. "If you don't play to win, then don't play at all". Kanar, we wish you and your team all the best every single day, every single hour, except on July 13th 2021., from 20-21h Serbian time (18-19h server time)

Good luck Dumba. I planned to prepare the game better than I did, but work and a mild back injury yesterday changed my plans. I will still be agressive in defense, we will see if it pays.
I wish you the best too. You had a great season, but after many disappointments, I hope this is my turn to play my first Elite final. As usual, I will not watch the game live, but will be there at the end to congratulate you, either for the win or for the end of your first Elite PO run. |

Friend, what to say after 1st half and 7 minutes of 3rd quarter. First punt return of 43 yards with starting position on my 25 led to FG. First interception with starting position on my 16 led to TD. Second interception with starting position on my 30 led to FG. 13 points from good starting position made by special team and defense. Hope for another miracle for me, but 2 int for Kruger that is something that must end bad. P.S.: Another your position till I type this |

Congratulations to Kanar and his Ducks.
This game absolutely had everything in 4th quarter. First there was Elephants TD to make 19-13 game. Then injury for starting Ducks QB which gave Elephants ball very quickly. Then 4th & 1 on Ducks 38 which failed and gave Ducks a great starting position. Then Ducks missed easy 23 yards FG which gave Elephants one more chance. Then injury for Elephants starting QB which led to a sack on 3rd down and 4th & 19 on own 11. 27 yards pass to give some chance. Then 3rd interception by Ducks that seal the game with a FG. 12 more first downs for Elephants and almost 200 more yards for Elephants. But those three interceptions, one big punt return and one failed 4th down were enough for BRAVE Ducks to advance to SB. Congratulations once again. Elephants fabulous season comes to an end. We will cheering for Ducks in SB. They are everything but the losing team, no matter what happens in SB. |

Thanks mate. Always hard to analyse a game with a team posting 3 INT. I actually watched the last 10 minutes which were very tense. I thought I was done after that zero point scored while starting at 1st and 4. Luck was on my side at the end.
Congrats again for your season. No doubt this first Po run is not the last one for you. |

Game day over.
Elephants gave their best today, but best was not good enough to get a win. 71% completed passes, but 3 interceptions in those 14 that hadn't been completed. Special team gave one big punt return. And that big 4th & 1 on opp 38 that dropped out of Divac hands. What a retirement would that be if he was able to catch it!!!! What a boost of morale to offense he would give!!! Defense has been great allowing just one TD and 5 FGs even that opponent had great starting positions deep in Elephants territory in 4 occasions. But didn't force any fumbles or make any interceptions. 22-13 defeat in the end shows that it was a close game, very close. Players are still in the locker room, wondering what could they have done it differently. There is absolutely nothing to be sad about, conference final is something that owner and general manager would accept at the start of the season without thinking. Fans are satisfied, but they will expect more from next season, it will be hard to repeat this kind of success. Four players retired today. Two Elephant legends Stojanovic & Divac will never be forgotten (first press release in Elephants history is about them). Vitocco & Thomas thank you for great couple of seasons, you put yourself a lot in this success. That is all folks from Elephants headquarter for this season. We will let Rufio enjoy his 50% correct SB 
Congratulations to both SB teams Ducks and TigerCats. Once again we will cheer for Ducks on 20.07. while bathing and enjoying in spa on one of Serbian most beautiful mountains Zlatibor |

Such a gracious opponent. Now the real question is do I curse you next season by claiming a repeat, or do I say you'll get relegated again to give your Serbs motivational bulletin board material?
