One thing I imagine that could be a good addition to this ranking is the team ratings from each game.

This new factor would be nice but it would be a lot more work each week (we would have to copy the ratings of each game one by one). I also have the feeling that the ratings vary a lot from game to game and sometimes don't match the team's real performance. |

I also have the feeling that the ratings vary a lot from game to game and sometimes don't match the team's real performance. Surely a hard task. I think overall performance is enough to have an idea about "team strength". So we would have to pick 2 numbers from each match of the season... if my calcs are not wrong, 512 numbers I am aware that those ratings vary from game to game. And that is the reason to start analyzing them. I think this is the "best photo" of a team performance. I am starting a short research with this numbers right now. I have some kind of a theory that I want to test. Maybe we could see it at the end of the season... |

Right now to calculate the Power Ranking each week we copy 7 pages: - League Ranking. - And the following stats: * Passing yards * Rushing yards. * Passing TD. * Rushing TDs. * Interceptions. * Fumbles recovered by the defense. To include the rating in the calculation it would be necessary to copy one more page per game (16 per week) Anyway, I look forward to hearing about the results of your research. |

The new leaders are Panthers (#1). - Alert Polar Bears (#13) fall out of the Top 10 due to their loss to the new leaders. Their place in the Top 10 is taken by Tilburg Torpedos (#10). - Biggest rise in the ranking: Jackalopes (3 positions from #7 to #4). - Biggest drop: Alert Polar Bears (3 positions from #10 to #13) and Wuppertaler Greyhounds (3 positions from #18 to #21). - The last week remains. Just a question out of interest and not a complaint but I beat the second ranked team but my score (56,42) did not change while it feels like it should have increased. |

Week 15 you had a score of 54.68. This week it has risen to 56.42. This is because of some factors: - You have a better W/L record (%57 -> %60). - You have better Opponent Power Rank (29 -> 24) - However you have a worse Overall Rank (14 -> 15) due to LoneStar Armadillos passing you after his game against a Bot. - All this leads you to improve your Score (54.68 -> 56.42) but it is not enough to gain spots in the Ranking. You are still the 14th. You will have to work harder |
