Excellent, we got 8 teams now, so cup has been started.
Group 1 = Hornets, Bulls, Letaidans and Leopards Grouip 2 = Hummingbirds, Hawks, Space Kraken and Oilers Good luck all 
I will try and do a write up before it starts, so watch this space. |

Friendly cup season 44 review
Group 1 The Hornets as organizers are looking for a repeat of season 42 where they won it all, but they have very stiff competition this time around. The Buills will bring the north - south rivalry against the Hornets as whippets, flat caps and warm beer go against Pina Colada's, poodles and silk ties. The Letaidans with the name no one knows what it means, even google translate says "no idea what that is" will be looking to progress out of this tough group. Last we have the Leopards from Germany, who always brings skill, expertise and calculating precision. Group 2 The North American group as 3 USA teams and 1 from Canada battle it out. The Hummingbirds will be looking for revenge after losing in overtime to the Oilers in last seasons final. The Hawks want to make a name for themselves and show they are the best bird named team in the Monarchs league. Space Kraken will be looking to cause chaos as usual and dent any teams chances. Last are the winners of season 43, the Oilers and they will want to be the first team to win back to back competitions. First game (elo rank ) Hornets (1017) vs Letaidans (1041) **also chosen as Match of the Day Leopards (1071) vs Bulls (1012) Hawks (780) vs Hummingbirds (718) Space Kraken (1135) vs Oilers (864) Good luck guys and lets get it on. |
