hm, this is strange. I see this for the first time. I am more than happy it was not infuencing the league so much. For the moment, I have no idea how to fix this one. Lucky Elephants. 10 years of RZA and they discovered something new |

As I have never seen a "negative" return in fumble recovery (just as Dumba said) it seems like that condition was not in place in this case. It was. It is simply not what happened, why this protection did not do anything. linkleo911 wrote:

Or player fumbled like on 1 yard line, ball rolled to endzone, Hughes got it? Is that even possible in RZA? |

Pete, I don't understand. as I wrote before: pete wrote:
To me it seems like a fumble short before the goalline, and a turnover because of the recovery by the defense. This is expected. However, seems the engine does not keep track long enough of the fact it was a recovered fumble, and therefore counts the ball "in possession of the recovering team, but its offense". The tackle of the ballcarrier causes the safety. |

Why is than safety instead 1st & 10 on my 1 yard line? |

Read, what I wrote. Really don't know what is a problem to explain did player that recover a ball gone back to endzone and then they tackled him or ball after fumble went into endzone by itself??? Once again you wrote: "A fumble cannot happen at the goalline. Such a condition is in place for ages. " 1) Fumble can't happen at the goalline, ok good to know 2) Fumbled short before the goalline = turnover, recovered by defense. SHORT BEFORE THE GOALLINE still stands, never written recovery in endzone 3) Engine then thinks that recovered team is in offense, tackle causes a safety. How is a tackle in field short before the goalline safety? So did the ball after fumble went into endzone and than was recovered by defense or player who recovered fumble got backward in endzone, that is a mystery? I believe everybody understand that engine takes recovery team as a offense, but how possession started in endzone is a question? Thanks in advance for making it clear to us. |
