Hello Dragons 2 League Members. Back in the day I would write out a fairly broken down power rankings for Dragons 1. I have been out of it for 20ish seasons so this is a watered down superficial ranking. Obviously this will include only human teams.
The next 8 posts I make on this thread will be a general assessment of each division with a slight breakdown of each team and the outlook. After I complete all 8 then I will post below here the overall rankings. AC Power Rankings I'm not going to number them in order but rather group them. Cream of the Crop (Expect to win division and compete at conference level championship): Turigtans, Miami, and Vikings Solid Teams (Expect to compete for division and wild card): Sfniner08, Lagos (if active), and Balaton Working On It (expect to have a shot at a wild card and could be a darkhorse): France, Minglewood, Godesburg, and Bathbucks Building for the future . Unlikely to compete for playoffs but possible Pittsburg, Denver, Cody, Toffee, Buffalo, Phillo, Favorite to win AC Turigtians NC Power Rankings Cream of The Crop This is a 4 team conference and I wouldn't expect any other team to make it up here. These four team may start to separate as the season progresses. Budapest Wolves St. Pauli Packers New England Coyotes Red Bull Attackers Solid Teams Blackmanes has most potential to jump up next. Mimidomes based on their recent victory. Build For The Future You might have noticed (if anyone is actually reading this lol) I skipped working on it. This is because this conference is very top heavy and then everyone else. This section is everyone else not listed. There are various levels for those teams in terms of where they are in the building process but this power ranking is focused on just this season. NC Conference Favorite St. Pauli and Red Bull. Turigtians Esports Club TC 93% Team Morale 96% PC 99% Avg Age 24.9 Salary $2.1 Mill Passing 65.8 % Rushing: 63.5 % Pass Defense: 66.2 % Rush Defense: 64.8 % Special Team: 64.1 % Overall: 65.0 % Previous Season finished 11-5 Lost close wild card playoff game. #3 Rush Offense and # 14 Pass Offense #6 Rush Defense and # 19 Pass Defense In the draft picked up 2 WR and a TE in what appears an effort to bolster the middle of the pack passing game last season. Built in house without a single TM purchase since season 36! Has 3 players at 4 stars and has 12 offense and 11 defense players at 3.5 stars. Long Term Prognosis is great with average age 24 reasonable salary with a full stadium. Also stable with the current owner having won 3 division titles . Short Term Prognosis is also great with strong players, TC, Morale, and PC. Minglewood TC 98% Team Morale 100% PC 94% Avg Age 22.6 Salary $1.5 Mill Coaches and players Passing 51.3 % Rushing: 50.8 % Pass Defense: 54.9 % Rush Defense: 53.4 % Special Team: 53.0 % Overall: 52.6 % Previous Season finished 9-7 missing the playoffs #5 Pass Offense and #20 Rush Offense #10 Pass Defense and #15 Rush Defense Picked up an OL and 2 FB in the draft. Fairly quiet on the TM. Picking a rb from SD Blitz last season. Long term: Looks good with cheap roster and average young age. Ratings aren't near the division favorite though. Short Term: Same as above, has great TC, Morale, and PC. Decent team. Making a playoff push this year? Pittsburg Steelers and Home of Denver Both joined yesterday so sorting through the roster. This season is most likely to focus on setting up roster and building stadium. Too soon to assess. Clear favorite is Turigtians but Minglewood aims to stay competitive. |

This is a simple division to handicap. 1 established team and 3 brand new teams. The three new teams are less than 6 days old and haven't visibly altered their rosters. I do hope they stick around! That being said it wouldn't be helpful to break those 3 teams down yet. The one team I am going to break down is well....a monster. lol Miami Dolphins Team chemistry: 90 % Morale: 97 % Physical condition: 99 % Average Age of Seniors 27.2. Coaches and player salaries= 5.7 million Passing: 73.5 % Rushing: 74.5 % Pass Defense: 69.8 % Rush Defense: 66.5 % Special Team: 70.0 % Overall: 71.0 % Finished 3-13 in Dragons 1. Lost in relegation game. Although wasn't a statistical leader in Dragons 1 still ahead of most here. I'm sure Miami is looking to bounce back up to Dragons 1 next season. Recently picked up a 4.5 star CB and a 3.5 star rb off of TM. Has 12 players on offense with 3.5 stars, 6 with 4 stars, and 2 with 4.5 stars. Has 8 on defense with 3.5 stars, 6 with 4 stars, and 2 with 4.5 stars. Long term prognosis is gray at current viewing. Average age is 27 years old with a majority of the high star levels being in the 30's age range. Salary is also a bit high for this leage. Short term should breeze through Dragons 2 for the most part. A favorite for sure. Of course I've only looked at 2 divisions. I suppose the question for Miami is when they strip it down and rebuild. Could be looking to get back to Dragons 1 to get good picks and sold out stadiums the next season to build up capital. |

A mix of teams in different stages. Sfniner08 *Disclaimer* I know, I'm newer than some that I didn't handicap because they were too new. That being said, I have access to my own team information and I've played several seasons before so I kind of know what I'm doing.....more or less. lol TC 38 % Morale: 98 % Physical condition: 96 % Avg Age 22.7 Weekly Wages $665k Passing: 58.3 % Rushing: 57.8 % Pass Defense: 62.2 % Rush Defense: 59.1 % Special Team: 59.3 % Overall: 59.3 % Picked up a QB and Monster DL in draft. Missed the first day of draft so only 2 picks. Super active in TM. Nothing bought over 200k yet. Enabled contracts early (I might regret that later) so I could pick up FA players with little up front cost. Hence the terrible TC number. Long Term Prognosis is good with most areas near 60% already, and average age of 23 and the salary is fairly low so far. Short Term prognosis is fair. Should remain fairly competitive with most teams outside the top favorites. France 2018 TC 96 % Morale: 87 % Physical condition: 72 % Financial situation: in trouble Avg Age 20.3. Weekly Wages 1.7 mill player and coach Passing: 45.9 % Rushing: 50.0 % Pass Defense: 51.2 % Rush Defense: 47.6 % Special Team: 60.3 % Overall: 50.0 % Last season was relegated from Dragons 1. France had won 6 straight Dragon 1 division titles from season 38 to 43. Season 44 France finished 2-14. Last season was a transition year it looks like. All appearances point towards France starting a long rebuild plan last season. A very young roster and ridiculously low player salary 228k. Long term: A rebuild with a veteran who has been there done that makes me feel confident that it will turn out very good. Short Term: Have to get past the financial trouble first and foremost (hence the low player salary). Outside of that I expect a gradual climb this season but probably not challenging for conference titles. In all honesty I think just building up capital and player skills is the focus. Lagos Marines Edit* this team went bot. Phillo Wall Team chemistry: 96 % Morale: 96 % Physical condition: 98 % Weekly wages Players $ 141,732 Avg Age Seniors: 22 Passing: 47.9 % Rushing: 45.2 % Pass Defense: 53.0 % Rush Defense: 49.0 % Special Team: 46.2 % Overall: 48.1 % Joined halfway through last season. The 6 games the manager was responsible for they went 3-3. One victory was over Lagos. Drafted 2 cb and 1 fb. This makes sense with #30 pass defense last season. Long term: Young and cheap with ok ratings. More roster work needed to be competitive in the future. Short term: Ratings aren't high and was hammered by 2 teams so far this season. With work could be competitive but looks like a wild card at best. This division has a favorite looking at just the ratings and that is the Lagos Marines. However I don't think they are the clear cut leader. France just beat them soundly and they haven't logged in for quite some time. I think this division will come down to France and myself. I honestly believe (objectively) I will win the division, especially if Lagos bots out, but it is early. France is a wild card as I'm sure he has some nifty playbooks created in Dragons 1 that netted 6 division titles. Won AC West Title. #24 pass offense #5 rush offense #17 pass defense and #8 rush defense Drafted a DL, G, and FB A few weeks ago spent 18 million on TM on offensive players. Long Term: Semi young core with manageable payroll and full stadium. Should keep it all together for a run so good outlook. Short Term: No glaring weaknesses. Good ratings and continues to control with the running game. Conference competitor for sure. Bath Bucks Team chemistry: 61 % Morale: 100 % Physical condition: 99 % Avg Age Seniors: 22.2. Weekly wages Players $ 738,661 Coaches $ 103,508 Passing: 52.4 % Rushing: 50.3 % Pass Defense: 51.3 % Rush Defense: 48.1 % Special Team: 51.6 % Overall: 50.8 % Took over very late in season 44. Started 2-0 taking care of teams they should. Drafted 2 DL and a FB. Long term: Young and cheap team with ok ratings. Room for growth. Short term: In this division a title is unlikely but could compete for a wild card. Godesberg Team chemistry: 96 % Morale: 93 % Physical condition: 94 % Avg Age Seniors: 21.9 Weekly wages Players $ 254,005 Coaches $ 279,297 Passing: 51.3 % Rushing: 51.3 % Pass Defense: 56.0 % Rush Defense: 52.8 % Special Team: 56.7 % Overall: 53.8 % Finished 6-10 last season with middle of the pack rankings. Started out 5-5 but only picked up one more win the remainder of the way. #17 passing offense and #16 rushing offense #12 pass defense and #17 rushing defense Drafted QB, LB, SF Long term: Like most has a cheap and young roster. Will need to grow faster to compete though. Short Term: Much like bath bucks can compete for a wild card. Balaton Seahawks Team chemistry: 73 % Morale: 92 % Physical condition: 93 % Avg Age Seniors: 23.3 Weekly wages Players$ 1,202,200 Coaches $ 55,566 Passing: 61.2 % Rushing: 62.6 % Pass Defense: 59.1 % Rush Defense: 57.4 % Special Team: 53.5 % Overall: 58.6 % Finished 4-12 last season. #30 pass offense #15 rush offense #11 pass defense #20 rush defense Drafted DL, RB, and SF Spent 7ish million upgrading OL and DL. Also picked up a 4 star qb in hopes of bringing up that #30 pass offense. Long term: Young with reasonable payroll. Ratings are good too. Short Term: Although they started 0-2 they lost to active managers. I barely held on today against them and it could have gone either way. In fact Seahawks had better stats than I did despite the result of the game. I think they are the main competition for the vikings in this division. |

Mirmidones Team chemistry: 76 % Morale: 100 % Physical condition: 99 % Avg Age Seniors: 22.1 Weekly wages Players $ 130,550 Passing: 52.0 % Rushing: 49.1 % Pass Defense: 53.0 % Rush Defense: 49.0 % Special Team: 43.4 % Overall: 49.1 % This team was picked up at the tail end of season 44. So relatively new. Went full offense in the draft with a TE, FB, and QB. Long term: Super cheap salaries and young squad. So still building with plenty of capital. Short Term: Looking at just the numbers for ratings and having no one above 3 stars I would have said short term was looking to be building for next year. However, this team is 2-0 with one of those wins vs what I pegged as the favorite in the division, the Budapest Wolves. It was a 3 point squeaker where the Wolves rallied with 17 unanswered points in the 4th quarter and a last second 43 yard field goal attempt that failed. I would have to say they are competing for the division title as the 2 other teams are brand new. Budapest Wolves Team chemistry: 97 % Morale: 93 % Physical condition: 97 % Avg Age Seniors: 22.9 Weekly wages Players $ 2,269,916. Weekly wages Coaches $ 2,128,624 Passing: 65.2 % Rushing: 60.7 % Pass Defense: 66.7 % Rush Defense: 59.9 % Special Team: 60.4 % Overall: 63.0 % I have to ask Budapest if they left and came back in season 39? I swear I remember this team on this site back in the beginning of RZA when I was playing. Last season they finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs. Almost all of their losses were competitive games and they were losses to playoff teams. The only blowout loss was the last game to the Nuthuggers. At this point Wolves were out of playoff contention so probably didn't bother preparing (I wouldn't have). They had the: #9 pass offense and #10 rush offense #21 Pass defense and #9 rush defense They drafted an OL, DL, and WR. Balanced just like the team. Long term is strong with a young and talented squad that boasts many 3.5 stars, several 4 stars and even a 4.5 star dline. Manageable salary of 4 million coaches/players. Short term I expect this team to compete for a conference title. No serious weaknesses to be seen. Athletico and Flemengo Both of these teams became human within the last 2 or 3 days so way too soon to assess especially without draft picks. Building for next season. This Division is a 2 horse race between Mirmidones and Budapest Wolves. Even though Mirmidones won the first one I still have Wolves as the favorite. |

Drafted a LB and 2 DL . The DL in the 3rd round I really liked so I think that is a steal of a pick! Long term cheap and young with ok ratings. Will need to invest and build more to compete long term. Short term, so far they are 2-0 but vs new teams or bots. This season is probably building to be competitive next season but can be a darkhorse. Red Bull Attackers Team chemistry: 95 % Morale: 100 % Physical condition: 100 % Avg Age Seniors: 24.4 Weekly wages Players $ 3,288,604 Weekly wages Coaches $ 612,608 Passing: 68.9 % Rushing: 66.0 % Pass Defense: 65.7 % Rush Defense: 64.6 % Special Team: 67.3 % Overall: 66.7 % Last season finished 13-3 and won the NC North (won it the previous season as well) but lost in the wildcard game to the team that finished 11-5 in the same division. #3 Pass offense and # 9 Rush offense #5 Pass defense and #11 Rush defense Drafted SF, DL, and OL. Long term has an average age of 24 and very talented! The player salary is up there a bit. If that is managed well will contend consistently. Short Term, an absolute contender to move up to Dragons 1. Great ratings and last season was almost top 10 in all areas. Balanced. Great Horned Owls Team chemistry: 97 % Morale: 99 % Physical condition: 97 % Avg Age Seniors: 21.6. Weekly wages Players $ 156,663 Passing: 49.1 % Rushing: 49.5 % Pass Defense: 52.7 % Rush Defense: 49.3 % Special Team: 51.2 % Overall: 50.3 % Might be a bit lazy with my analysis but almost the same as Sakeo in terms of where they are and a prognosis. Finished 4-12 in Dragons 1 last season. Long term and short term: Getting finances taken care of is the key for both short and long term success. Great ratings with manageable salaries and a young core. I expect them to compete immediately in Dragons 2. They lost a close game to the Bulls who I project to be right there at the end. This team too can contend for a conference title. I think I'm running out of steam here at the end and I don't even know if anyone is reading these. lol. I'm going to take the easy way out on this division as the other teams are newer and only one has much over 50% rating in any category. I would say they are all building for next season. That said, if something happened to the Coyotes because of finances then the next favorite would be the Cheshire Cats by default as they have been around longer than Mighty Goldfish and Savannah Warriors and have better ratings. Should be a Coyote runaway in this division. |

Short and Long term are the same prognosis. A contender for Conference Champion, and an average age of 24 and manageable salary makes them a competitor in the short and long term. I expect this team to repeat as division champ. First test for them is the next game vs Turigtians! The Blackmanes Team chemistry: 86 % Morale: 100 % Physical condition: 95 % Avg Age Seniors:22 Weekly wages Players $ 682,002 Weekly wages Coaches $ 487,794 Passing: 58.5 % Rushing: 59.3 % Pass Defense: 62.8 % Rush Defense: 58.0 % Special Team: 51.8 % Overall: 58.5 % Last season they took over a team that was 1-2 which means most of the stats belong to the manger. They finished 9-7 and out of the playoffs. #22 pass offense and #14 Rush offense #1 Pass Defense and # 16 Rush defense Drafted OL, DL, and CB. In FA he has picked up 2 starting WR a starting TE a starting LB and a starting OL for a total of 6 million in the season 45 time frame. Definitely investing, and mind you these are all young players that are 3 stars or higher! I do like the agressiveness. Long term I think this team is in fantastic position for long term success. I feel that this team is how I hope mine to track like. I'm very impressed with a person taking over a bot team at the beginning of the season without a draft pick and then finish with the #1 pass defense. A defensive minded coach for sure. Short term they are competing for a playoff spot. Not sure if they are strong enough at knocking the returning division champs out but definitely competing for a wild card. Virginia Tech Hokies Team chemistry: 65 % Morale: 99 % Physical condition: 87 % Avg Age Seniors:20.7. Weekly wages Players $ 105,842 Weekly wages Coaches $ 174,209 Passing: 49.4 % Rushing: 48.8 % Pass Defense: 51.8 % Rush Defense: 47.6 % Special Team: 58.9 % Overall: 50.8 % Took over right at rollover for a team that was demoted from Dragons 1. Was destroyed by the division favorite by 84 points. So .... Short term building for next season. Long term they are extremely young wand extremely cheap so building a base is the priority. Miami Tigers Are one day old so not enough to evaluate yet. The Packers are the clear favorites in this division |

Week 3 Games of the Week
France VS Wolves Wolves have better talent but can France use cunning, strategy, tactics, and experience to overcome it? St Pauli Vs Turigtians Not hyperbole to state this could be League championship preview. One of the best in their respective conferences. Sfniner08 VS Mirmadome Is this is Mirmadome continuing to roll after the win vs wolves? I am curious to see how it plays out. |
