Power Ranking - Dragons 1 - Season 48 - Week 17
Last Power Ranking of Season 48. - Only 12 teams change their position from week 16. The other 20 teams repeat position (that's your real position in this league, my friend  ).
- Alert Polar Bears finish on top of this Power Ranking despite their loss last week. Mülheim Seahawks (#2) and Rio Atoms (#3) complete the podium. - Biggest rise: 3 positions for Viper (from #21 to #18). - Biggest drop: 2 positions for Werewolves (from #3 to #5), American Eagles (from #5 to #7), Gardians (from #10 to #12), St Pauli Packers (from #18 to #20) and Brookfield Ukies (from #19 to #21). - The relegation spots coincide with the worst teams in this Power Ranking. - Highest ranked team outside the playoffs: Pizti Beltzak (#8) 
- Lowest ranked team qualified for playoffs: Alaskan Fur Traders (#20). Let's see if the playoffs confirm these rankings or prove that this Power Ranking sucks

I really am not complaining or anything as the rankings don't decide who will win but I think it is weird I could be ranked #1 in offense #1 defense, #1 in pd, top 5 in many other categories and end up ranked 4th.

The W/L record and the SoS (Strength of Schedule) also count. It is the eternal dilemma: what weight should we give to each stat?  |

I like your work and effort on the Power Rankings. I understand that any kind of ranking will be perfectly accurate. But while comparing #3 and #4 I can not see anything that could explain our positions except the record (my team is 13-3 and Sfniner is 12-4). All other stats are similar or more favorable to #4.
It is just like you said. It all depends on the weigths you put on each stat. And there is no problem with that. At least we can discuss it here on the forum.  |

- American Eagles (Seed #5, Ranked #7) vs. Alaskan Fur Traders (Seed #4, Ranked #19). - Baltic Stars (Seed #6, Ranked #9) vs. Westlake Marines (Seed #3, Ranked #14). - Gardians (Seed #6, Ranked #12) vs. Budapest Wolves (Seed #3, Ranked #6). - Rio Atoms (Seed #5, Ranked #3) vs. Viper (Seed #4, Ranked #18) In 3/4 games the favourite is the visitor team according to the Power Ranking. Good predictions. Westlake Marines won an epic match with a winning FG with only 0:05 on the clock. And playing with QB2 and tired players after Wk 17 MOTY.
Me and Feras going for a 3rd match this season. This time with no MOTY available... Our history is tied with 4 wins for each side but the Seahawks have been dominant this season and have some home advantage. Time to try my new playbook? |
