I believe we already have discussion going about lopsided game play, and obviously it has been an issue before, but implementation of a solution isn't simple. I do believe more can be done, as I have blathered on about plenty, but in this situation I agree that there were more factors involved. It's not as simple as this particular playbook is a sure-win situation, or that team would have a large sampling of impressive wins, which is not what his schedule shows. Even a little scouting and planning could likely have prevented this. As it is, we're talking a large fluke of luck, which is part of game play, and which should definitely be part of game play. The better team probably would have won this matchup 90+% of the time. I've won against teams I 'shouldn't' have beat, and lost against teams that I 'should' have taken care of. I understand that it's very frustrating, especially when a little more lopsided/karma/defensive adjustment would likely prevent this, but we all have the same game to play and to deal with, so go with what we have and be grateful for what Pete has been able to generate for us, or you probably won't enjoy the game.

You win some, you lose some. You win some you should lose, you lose some you should win. So long as it's only happening once in a blue moon, I'm fine with it. Annoying as it is, things like this happen IRL. But I'm Detroit Lions and Millwall so I suppose I've got a built in immunity to it.

They try to kind of overload a certain side of the attack. This might work under certain cirmumstances, but might fail big in other ones. From time to time a manager is upset about being on the losing side of the coin. |
