While one can acknowledge that the name and the issue do have a certain irony, one must also point out that the issue being highlighted by Captain Jack is a serious one.
There are visual processing conditions (so it's in the processing of the image rather than in the eyeball itself) that affect many people where the ability to process an image is significantly and badly affected by adding bright blocks of color to that image. Captain Jack is clearly affected by such an issue. I am not so badly affected in this area; however, I do 100% understand where Captain Jack is coming from. It it is clearly killing his ability to use the training page so his only alternative is to cycle through every player individually as if that page didn't exist. Best regards to all, JohnHW |

So a fix can be put in for a player who says -
" It's making the page very uneven and harder to read what was already there." but no fix for someone with visual problems? Well it's easy enough to go bot. |

Creating a feature that keeps a setting "show / hide" will need a structural change on the database to save it, some coding in the settings to allow a manager to turn it on or off, and finally some less coding in the training page to take effect. Wouldn't moving a browser window (or increasing the size followed by the left-right bar) be a better solution? May be crude, but more convenient than paper. E: Not a solution. But workaround.

This seems quite unreasonable to me. Although I didn't like the new feature it didn't cause me any problems per se. This one does cause me problems. Can it not be removed until a fix is found?
I am not attempting to blackmail you I was responding to those who thought it was funny. As a note (in answer to the recent suggestion) I have tried enlarging my screen but that doesn't work. Maybe I could try making all sorts of adjustments but I have better things to do with my time, especially given that I might not find a solution and in any case I would not use the 'feature' so it is totally useless for me. Why spend eons of time trying to find a way to remove/obscure/hide something that is useless? pete wrote:

as I play on a Laptop, not a { Smart phone thing} the point made was about your Pirate team name.. so IF your Log that goes with the game, was to stop me from a wee joke.. then it might be Best you go BOT.. Then restart with a BOT team and a low ELO and Stadium.. Pete was trying a new idea { to be honest I thought was good} as I have played this game for a few seasons with teams I loSt due to an internet crash etc.. I do NOT like your story of the game.. I found it a strain on my eyes.. But wish you well, as I am sure Pete will bring in others that YOUR LOG will not be covering.. #Shipwreck

Great !!!
I've found a new feature I didn't use so far ... the "training" page. I always did my training sessions modification directly in the player page. This new feature is neutral for me, because I prefer to have player stats in front of me when deciding how to split training times. Anyway, I'm always happy when Pete prepares something for us and, like all the changes, there are players for and players against. |
