Having these humans with us is still so unsettling I nearly forgot to make the previews for today

The outrage surrounding humans sneaking into the friendly cup has been on every animal’s mind over the last few days (and yes, most of us haven't noticed because not many seriously care what animals are up to
![]() So hopefully things have cooled down a little as we enter Game Day 1 of Animal Kingdom II, and these games will be played: Leverkusen Leopards @ Manta Rays The Leopards are the first to visit the Manta Rays down under, in what will be the first of, as it stands now, 3 home games for the Rays. As it turns out Leopards are not afraid of water, so it will be a tough fight. But maybe the Manta Rays can turn their habitat into enough of an advantage to come out on top in this one. Sydney Sea Eagles @ Hamburg Baltic Dogs If it needed any more proof that the Sea Eagles from Sydney are a clever bunch you mustn’t look further than their choice of away jerseys, as they nearly exactly match the home jerseys of their opponent. One can imagine that it will be hard to distinguish friend from foe for the Baltic Dogs’s QB… at least as long as he has difficulties to tell his fellow pack members from big bad birds ![]() Air Force Falcons @ Tigers The Falcons visit their home land to wreak havoc on the Tigers, and given their current streak of success it will be a tough game for the Tigers. Maybe one or two strikes from their mighty paws can put a stop to the whirl wind that the Falcons are creating. Badalona Cheetahs @ Dumbarajko Elephants The Cheetahs travel all the way to Serbia for this match-up, and hopefully they do not empty their tank on their voyage. The Elephants have stomped their opponent yesterday, and will only be intimidated if the Cheetahs have enough speed in them to make the opponent play from behind. If the Elephants take the lead it will be hard for the speedy cats to get the ball past this strong gray barrier of pure muscle. Sunrise City Prairie Dogs @ Quokkas on steroids This truly is a curious match-up: Prairie Dogs visiting Quokkas on steroids. Even for those with limited imagination this is truly a sight to behold, and it’ll be brought to everyone as Match of the Day by the mighty RZA network. It’s amazing how this encounter has made it to be on the radar for a wider audience, but then again… the Quokkas are sent to this Friendly Cup by the Creator himself, so he will have made sure that his team will get the proper broadcast. BobBoy Magpies @ HAMBURG SEA LIONS Did you know that a group/team of magpies is called a mischief? No? Well, the Sea Lions did not know, either, and now that they know they are even more unsettled about the BobBoy teams’ visit today. Still rattled from their defeat in the league yesterday they brace themselves for a team of unpleasant birds and hope for the best. Willoughby Wookies @ Alaskan Fur Trappers The organization committee did not pull any stops to put those evil Fur Trappers in their place. So the first line of defense will pay them a visit right away to try and show them that they do not belong in this tournament. Hopefully those Wookies have some strong arguments and can make the Trappers begin to understand the mistake they have made enrolling into this Friendly Cup. Morgantown Mad Dogs @ Deimon Devil Bats When the ball will be thrust into the game the Devil Bats will be at an advantage, as it will be very early in the morning and the Mad Dogs might be battling a mighty jet lag. But them being mad all the time may lead to some unconventional game play. The Bats better make this a quick affair. The longer this’ll take the better the chances for the visitors. Good luck for everyone today ![]() |

It took years for me to understand how it works ...
You are losing your 1st Q by 21 points, post a picture of a cute Quokka, and turns the game completely into a 31:28 win ... |

Looks like the Quokkas found a way to distract their opponents after a bad start.

We've had a run in with the Wookies before in a different Cup & they were a wily bunch. "Is that a %!@*&$# Bigfoot ?" but they managed to slip away. The Fur Trappers look forward to adding a Wookie rug this time around. ![]() What a great defensive battle but in the end...PELT DENIED! ![]() |

Seems the Wild Woolie Wookies of Willoughby are an intelligent & elusive bunch. One of those Wookies knows football. We'll be leaving the Wookies in peace & walk away empty handed ... for now. ![]() Congrats to Joe, Best of luck the rest of the season ![]() |

I wouldn't say you're done in this tourney as you won the recent Jungle Invitational after a round-robin loss to the Wookies. Best of luck to you too ![]() |
