Final Week Preview & Playoff Scenarios
What’s already clinched AC (American Conference) Division champs: Panthers (14–1) – AC North (in pole for AC #1 seed) Braska Bangers 09 (13–2) – AC East Glizzy Gobblers (12–3) – AC South Niceville Norsemen (8–7) – AC West Byes (top two seeds): Panthers and Braska control them. Panthers hold the inside track to AC #1. NC (National Conference) Division champs: Akron Pro’s (15–0) – NC North (clinched #1 seed & home-field) GLADIATORI ROMA (12–3) – NC South Kirky 44’s (12–3) – NC West Wild card clinched: Reapers (12–3) have one WC locked. Still to decide: NC East title between Sydney Sloths (11–4) and Charleston Battery (11–4). Games that matter most (by conference) AC — Wild Card chaos 4 teams for 2 spots: IONS (10–5), Crunch (10–5), Champ Chompers (10–5), The Nasty Thunders (9–6). IONS (10–5) at The Nasty Thunders (9–6) Win-and-in for IONS (gets them to 11–5). For The Nasty Thunders, a win only gets them to 10–6, so they’d still need help (see below). Panthers (14–1) at Crunch (10–5) Crunch are win-and-in to reach 11–5. If they lose (10–6), they’ll be stuck in multi-team tiebreakers. Limerick United (BOT) at Champ Chompers (10–5) Champ are heavy favorites; a win to 11–5 almost certainly secures a WC. Georgia Gremlins (BOT) at Coconuts (6–9) — only matters if you’re chasing strength-of-victory style tiebreaks. AC seeding notes #1 seed: Panthers with a win. If Panthers lose and Braska (13–2) beat the Broncos (BOT) to go 14–2, the Panthers/Braska tiebreak decides #1/#2. #3/#4: Glizzy Gobblers over Niceville on record; Niceville locked at #4 if the other division winners all win. AC Wild Card, quick paths IONS: In with a win. With a loss (10–6), they’d need Crunch to lose and/or Champ to stumble, then survive tiebreaks versus The Nasty Thunders at 10–6. Crunch: In with a win. With a loss (10–6), they need IONS to beat The Nasty Thunders and Champ to surprisingly lose, or else hope the tiebreaks smile on a 10–6. Champ Chompers: Win very likely locks a WC at 11–5. A shock loss (10–6) throws them into the blender with IONS/Crunch/Nasty. The Nasty Thunders: Must beat IONS to reach 10–6 and then need at least one of Crunch or Champ to lose (to avoid both WC slots being taken by 11–5 teams). In most common outcomes, they also need to win any 10–6 tiebreak. NC — One wild card left for a crowd Reapers already own one WC. The last WC is a fight among: NC East runner-up (Sloths or Battery) — likely 12–4 if both win, Fargo Knights (11–4) — can reach 12–4 at Eagles (2–13), Winner of neroverde (9–6) vs Bonaval Acorns (9–6) — ceiling 10–6, Abracalabria (9–6) — at Reapers (12–3), ceiling 10–6. Week 16 deciders Sydney Sloths (11–4) vs King Rat’s (2–13) All Mighty Gamers (BOT) at Charleston Battery (11–4) Both NC East teams are strong favorites. If both win to 12–4, tiebreak decides the NC East champ. The runner-up at 12–4 becomes the front-runner for the final WC — unless Fargo also finishes 12–4 and wins the tiebreak. Fargo Knights (11–4) at Eagles (2–13) Win-and-you’re (almost certainly) in for the last WC at 12–4 — unless the NC East runner-up beats them on tiebreak. Bonaval Acorns (9–6) at neroverde (9–6) Loser’s out. Winner to 10–6 needs major help (an upset of Sloths/Battery or Fargo stumbling) and then favorable tiebreaks. Abracalabria (9–6) at Reapers (12–3) Upset path to 10–6 is similar — needs a Fargo or NC East stumble plus tiebreak help. NC seeding notes #1 seed: Akron Pro’s locked. #2–#3: GLADIATORI ROMA and Kirky 44’s jockey for position (both favored this week). NC East: winner grabs the #4 seed (home playoff), loser falls into the WC race. Bite-size “What to root for” (by team) AC bubble IONS: Beat The Nasty Thunders → you’re in. Crunch: Beat the Panthers → you’re in. Lose, and you’re sweating IONS/Champ results and tiebreaks. Champ Chompers: Beat Limerick (BOT) → you’re (very likely) in. The Nasty Thunders: Beat IONS and hope either Champ lose (unlikely) or Crunch lose and you win the 10–6 tiebreak. NC bubble Sloths/Battery: Win your layup → division likely decided by your head-to-head/points tiebreak. Runner-up (12–4) is favored for the last WC, but may need tiebreak over Fargo. Fargo Knights: Beat Eagles → (very likely) in at 12–4, unless the NC East runner-up edges you on tiebreak. neroverde / Bonaval Acorns: Win to 10–6, then pray for a Fargo or NC East stumble and tiebreak magic. Abracalabria: Upset Reapers to get to 10–6 and then you still need big help. |

The Supercup Playoffs are upon us! Looks like we have a few tough matchups, including 2 of our own facing each other in the first round!
Bonaval Acorns @ Deflators (Thunder) Fighting Frankonian (Galaxy) @ Kirky 44's Air Force Falcons (Elite) @ Sydney Sloths Tovari (Admirals) @ Reapers Gladiatori Roma @ Akron Pro's Space Kraken (Elite) @ Glizzy Gobblers Fargo Knights @ Manta Rays (Sea Devils) Dumpster Fire @ Orono Ancient Snappers (Monarchs) Braska Bangers 09 @ Prairie Falcons (Claymore) Panthers @ Viper (Admirals) Crunch @ London Silverbacks (Admirals) Acorns have an uphill battle vs the 79 rated Deflators. Kirky 44's look to have the advantage over the 62 rated Frankonian. Sloths face an Elite team, so no easy win over the Falcons. Reapers face a slightly better team in the 74 rated Tovari, it's a toss up. Roma vs Pro's, here we go again! Glizzy Gobblers also have a battle against an elite team in the Kraken! Fargo Knights take on Sea Devil's Manta Rays who may not have the same level of talent on the roster, but the veteran manager knows how to ball. Should be a great match! Dumpster Fire will be squaring off against the Ancient Snappers, this will be a very tough test against an 83 rated team. Braska faces a very tought opponent against the 83 rated Prairie Falcons. Panthers should be able to dispatch the 73 rated Viper. The Crunch have a very tough battle against the 77 rated Silverbacks. |

If you both beat the bots, and they don't outscore their opponents, compared to you outscoring your opponents, by more than 18 points, you should have the last spot. Good checking. I don't know why I didn't see I had more PD than Knights. Was too focused on my divisional matchup. Yea, have to imagine we will both be 60+ and I'll sneak in. |

It feels odd not making it to the supercup, I had a pretty strong division this time around.
I'm also honestly surprised I still made the playoffs this season, I think I'll be out after the wildcard though, but good luck to all the teams in the Supercup and to everyone in the playoffs. |

It feels very normal to make it and get bounced by a much better team in the first round. LOL Even when I entered as the #2 seed once, I faced an 85 OVR team and got bounced. I don't get it, and I stopped giving a shit about supercup since.. it's either rigged or just the shittiest system I've ever been a part of.

Well, not sure I'll beat Akron this week, so this is likely my last game in RZA. Best of luck everyone! It was fun while it lasted.
