we welcome another new owner Lucas Losers

Hello everybody.
I'm still trying to learn the game, and I'm taking things slowly to avoid major mistakes, so it will be a while before my team is even remotely competitive. As my team name suggests, I expect to lose, a lot.

Don't worry, this is a looong game. I signed up about a year ago, and I'm still not competitive at all. But I always plan for the long time, building slowly and accumulating cash that will be useful later (I chose not to buy a single player from the market and work only on draft and youth academy - this could be done quite easily at the beginning).

Was a little surprised he was around for the 14th pick of the 3rd round

Calvin Graham QB 20 YO

STR 38.5 yellow
SPD 32.4
VIS 30.5
PAS 32.5
INT 48.3
TW 36.8
TAL 4*

This player has quite an arm. His strength and passing get a bonus of 5%

This doesn't seem a surprise to me.
I didn't put him on my list at all
Keys here are strenght and speed. I hardly put on my list a player with low strenght/speed. High risk to found him capped or close to (just a matter of luck). And even if you're lucky and he would have much room for STR/SPD growing, it means more than a full season training only those skills (assuming to have an average coach around 70 - and I don't use a good coach to train only 2 or 3 QBs - considering age and TW i think he would grow about 0,7 each training, that means around 16 pops a season).
In this case, he will be 43.x strenght at best (that is around 46 counting ST, and it could be acceptable) but he could be anything in speed, even a 40 or so.
High vision/passing in my opinion only means he will have a wage not so low but he will perform not so good.
Obviously, it's still a matter of objectives, strategies, personal preferences and so.
And obviously, for a new team could still be useful while for another is not.
But sure picking him on a 3rd round doesn't seem a surprise to me

Week 1 is on us - a few preseason things to clear up on...
I remember forums from the past, so when I saw, the my bid was lost to another { that is the game RZA } the player you bid on and lost, another just as good or better can be on market next day.... the RZA engine will throw a strange number on your match { a long time ago, I and two Owners, did a { same plays and orders } plan, not one result was the same... one owner then told me he run a play-book on teams, knew around about every play against him, and STILL lost games.. also I saw the every device will have own settings { so a desktop or laptop or mobile } will act on that, so a message will not be received the same as your own, or screen may differ.. Forum for me, is asking Owners to share fun, some go to far and cause a bad report on another team, That is why I ask for your team only - on this point I picked up a player on Free Agent, he had played for a team I had been owner of.. so the does a player return to RZA Transfer Market - I can say yes, but with better skills and wage, so new owners the old RZA Game had three levels { I go that far back} Elite, First and Second Leagues -{it isn't the same game - hope info is good for all

Not too bad, but at my level it's still easy to catch something good for the team.

First pick (#2 on my list) has been a 50-50 22yo DL with double ST.
38.6 INT, 30.6 TW, 22.8 AGI, 27 VIS and TAC

Second pick (#13 or so on my list) has been a 46.4 STR 44.4 SPE (yellow) 20yo DL with double ST.
47.6 INT, 38.3 TW, 21.2 AGI, 29 VIS and TAC

Third has been a totally random 42.6 STR (yellow) 45.5 SPE 21yo QB without ST.
36.6 INT 46.4 TW, 30.3 AGI 28.4 VIS 24.8 PAS.
As it is, kind of crap, but should him become a 47 or so STR could still be a bit useful.

Then I guess all others are humans-BOTs because I can easily foresee a 30pt difference
