A soft schedule? I have the third and fifth favourites in the NC twice. I'd say the second toughest division in the league to win

MisLinces were just short of useless last year and any Divisional rival you beat 62-whatever isnt someone youd fear overly.

Anything worse than 15-1 from you and its a big fail - your schedule is softer than extremely soft butter left out in the sun for an exhorbitant length of time.

But im sure 14 teams will use MOTY on you....and the wind will be blowing in the wrong direction....and the referees will have been bribed.....etc etc etc....all taken from the wadders book of excuses 2012 edition

Indeed I was looking for excuses but not when I lost but when I won and couldn't explain the victory ie Sharks 62 Patriots 3 in the Divisional decider so I tried to find out if he played relaxed against me. To this day I can't explain that victory (well the size of the victory)

Didn't the Patriots prevent you having homefield advantage all season? And in the big games of the season I was written off time and time again Burton predictions

i think on balance of play every time it was the right prediction - i reckon if i check posts/emails from you you will have probably agreed with me.

We're not talking about me versus the Patriots - we're talking about you - and if you have such a win under your belt then you have to expect to win those games against them. Why wouldnt you? So as said, i do believe you have a soft schedule (you avoid all of the other main contestants) and would be amazed if you went anything less than 15-1 - you should go 16-0 in reality.

Oh..and the one time i tipped you to win, you choked in front of your own fans in a game you expected to win yourself!

True but that win could be down to a whole host of reasons so while I should feel confident of following it up with more wins. I am dampening it down to ensure I stay focused on the job in hand. Personally I think 10-6 will be a bad season for me (I was hoping for 8-8 this time last season) but 16-0 is possible. As we all know as well it only takes one well constructed MOTY in a tight game to tip the balance. Also looking at his other 15 games he was nearly always competitive I don't think anyone really blew him away.

The one game where we both expected me to win and it didn't happen I would not call that choking because I think both of us thought it would be decided by less than a TD most likely a FG. In the end it was a FG not taken that decided it as there was only 1 point in it.

Youre forgetting i missed as many FGs in the game as you did - you didnt miss the FG, you just refused to take it - you may have missed that also - so you cant exactly claim that was the reason you lost. Ultimately i got into the EndZone and shut you out, and controlled the game time and territory wise for all but the first and last ten minutes. But you still had home field advantage and i didnt use MOTY against you, and it was more of a must win for you than me....but it was Hail to the Redskins playing at the final whistle....not the theme to the Muppet Show!

I have never not given you credit for that win the big difference between the two teams was you turned your pressure into a TD I never and all credit must be given for that. By the way do you want your send in the clowns CD back for your upcoming season a la 1.1 post?

Hopefully you can stay up and I can get up next season.

i have zero chance of staying up mate - a Forest fan in full kit, with 'i hate Derby' tattoed across his forehead and singing anti Derby songs in the middle of the East Stand has got more chance of getting out with his teeth intact than my staying up in 1.1.

They wont be BOT scorelines, but after looking through my schedule, and using the Blues game as a yardstick, i doubt i'll get 2 wins all season.

Reasonable hopes in the SuperCup though - should be in double figure wins there.

For those who do not know about East Midlands Football and have watched Green Street it's like that but real

My supercup looks reasonably decent unlike last season. I think there are only 2-3 sides who are out in front and they don't appear to be miles in front like last time out

Not really happy - i had targeted 2 x DL and 1 x RB, though had placed 4 x RB at the top of my board as i thought maybe 1 would be left at the end of R1 - to get 2 RBs - as beastly as they are, is a bit of overkill when i was already deep at the position, so am considering changing or marketing one.

The TE in R3 is ok - i think that position will become more important as the game deepens so to have a stud there for the next 10 seasons is bearable.

I really wanted the DL's though - there were a couple in there who along with Rubin Reaves and Gilberto Harris would have made the Steel Curtain of the mid 70s look like a girl guide Defensive Line.....
