I think my 0-16 prediction is a lot more accurate than yours although 23 players will hit the TM on Monday (maybe another 6 or 7 from the YA) |

Your first point of being here longer I don't think really applies anymore as a month is quite easy to catch up. I haven't checked your team recently but last time I looked we weren't too far apart. Again its not what quality you have it's how you utilise it and you are known for getting the best out of limited resources. I will message you privately to compare notes on income (ticket mainly) but I agree you should get more for going 0-16 in 1.1 than a side going 16-0 in 2.x. Yes there should be a penalty for losing games no matter what division but if it was up to me a top 2.x side should have its stadium attendance capped to a 0-16 1.1 side less 5% otherwise its better to hang around another season or two to develop. Yes I have a draft QB (and WR) one of the perks of picking first at the end of season 3 I guess (that was down to luck) luckily I picked a 0-14 side when I joined then with games against the side you replaced and Patrington Pitbulls I didn't have to do much to lose those. Like you I have some misgivings about the new engine and I would like to see it tested for one more season before seeing it implimented into everyday life here but that's not for me to decide. This is where you can use the draft to your advantage the 2.2 draft class isn't great and picking 31st will hinder me some. In fact if those above me pick well I may well end up only getting backups in the draft as I would say that 60 of the players in the draft are no better than what I already have. Agreed they will add depth to my side which is where I am seriously lacking but no matter what draw I get in the SC I can see me playing the weaker players there to concentrate on trying to stay in 1.1 |

If the sides remained the same then my side would be more developed and I would have more money in the bank but that's not to say I am worse than a side who joined mid March for example nor is a side who joined in May worse than me. I have been here 6 months whereas you 5. In that time an astute manager should have caught up with an average manager. Excluding the playoffs my ticket income alone this season was $132,486,405. However, you got coaches a lot earlier than I did so the extras from training there while depleting your bank balance will have assisted you in catching up on training. Yes it will be very tough I will either be in with this season top team throughout the game, a playoff team and a promoted side or I will be in two competitive divisions. My other game experiences aren't that relevant as I had been there days maybe weeks when I started here. My online gaming experiences really are from a war strategy game where I have played alongside HawksJungle and Legendary Lords but maybe I picked up a little knowledge from TOG? I am certainly not looking forward to having my insides ripped out week in week out next season but this is what I aspired to now I have to take that next step and stay there. I would of been more confident of this in the old engine though. |

i will be more interested to see how the Strasbourg Blues and mov ravens fare next season - both divisional winners under the old engine - i wonder if they will be as dominant with the new engine next season.
