Hi guys thought I'll get us started for the forthcoming season.

We have been a fairly quiet forum in the past lets see if we can be more communicative this season.

So to start welcome to all the teams that got promoted.

I get two of them in my division Packers and Styrian Bears, also with South Georgia Red Beavers starting their second season with me I think we will have a close division this coming season.

Pucela Towers joins the Penguin, Green Bay and Tauton in the NC West, I hope he enjoys it there and finds a way passed the Pengiuns tough looking defense.

Holmewood Hawks, I think drew the "short straw" Slavia look as good again, Wild Thangs have improved a lot and Manchester is developing well.

Steelers join China, Quarry Bay and Bavarian Bratwurst in another competative division.

No change in AC East, which looks like it could be another very tight season as all the teams look good.

Vernyomorek joins AC North, where the General will hope to dominate again, Aztecs and Skizzy will be trying their best to see that he doesn't.

Templar Cross did well winning Thunder 2.2 Champioship last season, but now in a division with the maestro notsch and his Athletics also the Wovles and the Brawlers he might find it a little difficult.

Workers introduction to AC West could be good or bad, the Hunters, the Falcons and Pisa are all good teams and can beat each other, if the Workers schedule is helpful he could hang onto their coattails.

This was the Bova giving an initial look at the divisions please join in the conversation, make predictions, tell jokes, ask advice (I'm sure notsch might give some of his secrets away) and most of all here is to an enjoyable challenging season.

Let the fights begin.

Great way to start the season, Bovakian! Now you'll be forced to do this review every single season for our enjoyment, mate!
We both agree that our forum is been a little quiet so far, let's try to change that, I'm in!

Now, everything begins this Saturday again, hope to have a season as successful as the last one
And if any of you need advice on how to break my defense (will be easier as seasons get by), ask Slavia, he crushes me in every single game we play

Let's see how the Draft goes. My season depends badly on it and I'm picking too late!!

I don't mind giving a go chabi and I'll try to do it in more detail.

As to the draft I know your looking to balance yourself by improving your offense, while I think getting my defense stronger for both the run and the pass is my initial target, but it would be nice if you get let me have my 42 million back for that nice LB I got from you. He is already looking forward our game on Week 14.

Well I have just dropped from 1 to 2, so I am hoping for a much better season.

TBH, I am better suited to 2.1 this season as I am in for the long haul and therefore have a very young team that are largely still developing physical attributes.

Many are nearing the end of this, so hopefully I will have a much stronger team by the end of the season.

As for the draft, very pleased. I picked up a good OL in the 3rd round (my 26th preference) which is a particularly weak area for me as all of my players are still developing physicals.

My 1st and 2nd rounds were my overall 1 and 2 picks. Both 50int QBs, with the top one a natural leader. This has meant my current QB has transferred to his natural SF position, my back-up QB can be sold, and I have two young QBs that should develop very nicely with 5*/4.5* talents. Both of them also already have great physicals and TW of over 40 so they should develop their passing very well

The draft gave me no ready-to-go starters but more depth

And I got three usable players by getting my #2 (fast CB), #17 (RB) and #46 (solid draft QB).
And I really have to stress that this is astonishing ´cause the last two season the 3rd round picks at 96 were pretty much crap. Therefore I was really surprised getting a nice QB this time…and since one of my backup-QB retired last Sunday, this pick really saved me some money. So I am thanking the bots picking crap players wisely

Nevertheless, i wanted two d#-players and got only one. And I am still wondering about that 2nd round RB I drafted at my #17
I have a pretty good RB squad and I knew I had one draft RB in the upper half of the draft board….but this guy???
I mean…he is okay, but since he is capped and already 23..well, at #17 I would have expected something more spectacular…

But I guess I shouldn´t complain too much

My draft ended up a bit strange, but helpful.

I got one of the two DL's I wanted and like notsch he is 23 and capped, but his positional skills are good.

Didn't get anymore for defense, which will mean me hunting the TM for a couple of players.

Got an FB on 2nd pick, which is actually fortunate now as my 30yr old FB retires at the end of season 7.

3rd pick got me a kicker, wasn't expecting it, but considering my present kicker has a 20-25% fail rate maybe it will be a bonus, then I can develop my youth kickers and make decent money on the TM for them.
