Was a tough fight today against the Falcons...no matter what the score indicates, it was close
And Mirek in the final again...sixth time...that´s extraordinary 
I simply seek to continue my bowl run against his Pankrác

The only team to win the Thunder Bowl and NOT be the Landru Athletics just lost their relegation game. Don't know how often this has happened in RZA (a ex-Bowl winner in 1.1. relegates down), buit it feels a bit like an era ends.

The Thunder Regoin 1.1 had the same finalists as usual but now have a new champion. First time since season 3 that Landru Athletics have not won it and im sure they will come back next season hungry to get the trophy back . |

No, Mirek really deserves this one...was a tough game, running against his Front4 wasn´t easy and the INT return TD was the difference maker in the end 
That´s football, baby!
@ELogic You nailed it! And congratz to your own victory
Have fun next season...hopefully somewhere in the NC

This is the first time ever the NC won the title. Together with TECs relegation one might wonder if there is a power shift bewteen the conferences... |

Well there it is the end of season 8.
The same finale, but a different result as Slavia Pankrac finally break their hoodoo against Landru Athletics at their 6th Super Bowl and 10th league meeting. My hearty congratulations go out to Mirek for a great achievement. Now it is time to say goodbye to TEC and Green Bay Packers after 7 seasons in the top league. San Diego State Aztecs and Manchester Red Devils both went bot and leave us after 3 seasons, Taunton Demons went bot and leave us for the second time in their history. Guebw Dolphins also went bot and a sad, but hopefully a temporary goodbye to Prague Lions. Budapest Wolves survived their relegation play off game by their opponents The Fighting Tigers going bot before the play off game. For next season we will welcome Chelsea Nation, 2.1 Super Bowl winners, London Bulldogs, 2.2 Super Bowl winners, Hackney Marhses, 2.1 Super Bowl finalists, Berlin Templar Knights, 2.2 Super Bowl Finalists and the relegation play off winners standbyme, Severnside Falcons and Die Verdammten. Some may remember Berlin Templar Knights who spent seasons 2 to 6 in NC South, so welcome back to Cookiemonster it is unlikely you will be returning to NC South, but I wish you well in whichever division you go to. I also would like to extend a gracious welcome to all the other managers of the promoted teams and wish you well in whichever division you are allocated to. Now to look forward to the new draft set up and for me to get some decent players to stop Buddy running all over me next season.
