Hi Guys,

New Season is nearly upon us so it's time to see the changes to the divisions in the top flight.

AC East
It's goodbye to turigtians esports club (TEC) after 7 seasons in the top flight losing to Die Verdammten, 2.2 West Divisional Winners, in the relegation/promotion play off match. It is also goodbye to Prague Lions through automatic relegation and welcome to Chelsea Nation, 2.1 Super Bowl Winners.

AC North
It's goodbye to both Guebw Dolphins and San Diego State Aztecs, who both went bot at the start of last season and welcome to Hackney Marshes, 2.1 Super Bowl Finalists and London Bulldogs, 2.2 Super Bowl Winners.

AC South
No Change

AC West
No Change

NC East
It's goodbye to Manchester Red Devils, who went bot last season and welcome to standbyme, 2nd in 2.1 NC East, who beat them in the relegation/promotion play off game, which they made by having a good post season in 2.1.

NC North
No Change

NC South
No Change

NC West
It's goodbye to Taunton Demons, who went bot last season and welcome back to Berlin Templar Knights, 2.2 Super Bowl Finalists. It is also goodbye to Green Bay Packers after 7 seasons as they were beaten in the relegation/promotion play off match by Severnside Falcons, 2.2 NC West Division Winners.

During the week I will look at each division in a little bit more detail and give my thoughts for the next season.

I will also do my match predictions for the regular season, , and if anyone is up to challenging me with predictions please do so and they should be listed by 9am on matchdays.

Also feel free to make comments and rants in the forum during the season.

So welcome to Die Verdammten, Chelsea Nation, Hackney Marshes, London Bulldogs, standbyme, Berlin Templar Knights and Severnside Falcons.

Good luck to all for the forthcoming season, god knows I am going to need it.

Let the fights begin.

ps. I have noticed the CofC draw already and see that Chelsea Nation & E Logic have to face the new champions first up and notsch & his Athletics have a tough one against ASU Ducks.

pps. Also I wish you all luck in your choices for the new draft set up and that none of you get any decent players, , so I can win the big prize

WOW!!! are you kidding me...out of all the bot teams and 3rd tier league winners, I manage to get last years CofC champion.
Although im happy about my league division I was put in, i just looked at my fixures and my first 4 league games couldnt be much harder.

Yep, time for me to move on. The game is great, but have no time for it anymore. Way too busy at work these days. Good luck to all!

Even the Penguin who I could never beat. You will be missed.

Keep having fun guys!!

Here's Bova's look at the divisions for Season 9 (fingers-crossed, nobody changes their name or goes bot before season start)

As usual we start with

AC East

Chelseas Nation managed by E Logic - Rookie Season
Die Verdammten managed by Lawinenhund - Rookie Season
Juan Renegades managed by roberto2014 - 5th Season
1.1 record 40-24
Divsion Winners seasons 6 & 8
Totoras Patriots managed by JonatanRiver - 6th Season
1.1 record 38-42

Chelsea Nation join the top ranks with a proven record and a very strong team. They will be looking straight away at challenging for the divisional title and a play off spot.
Die Verdammten will be looking to get settled in for the long haul, they have a reasonable squad that will not be easily outclassed.
Juan Renegades, roberto the tatictian, he may well have an average squad for this level, but he certainly knows how to get results, though he will probably have a harder fight for the divisional title this season then he had last season.
Totoras Patriots, well, it's about time Jonatan got his team working together, there is no reason why he should not get back to winning ways, but he has got to make sure he stops having silly defeats.

Poition Prediction
1st Renegades
2nd Nation
3rd Patriots
4th Verdammten

onto

AC North

General Rodriguez Warriors managed by Nestoro - 7th season
1.1 record 79-17
Division Winners Seasons 3,4,5,6,7 & 8
Hackney Marshes managed by Majortinkle - Rookie Season
London Bulldogs managed by JohnLegend - Rookie Season
Sydney Convicts managed by hosh13 - 2nd Season
1.1 record 10-6

General Rodriguez Warriors will look to continue their domination of this division, but from this season onwards it could become harder.
Hackney Marshes have come up with a squad that could easily become a play off contender, but establishing themselves should be the must important thing in their rookie season.
London Bulldogs like Hackney should be looking to establish themselves at this level and go on from there. I do not see them being embarrassed easily.
Sydney Convicts, I think hosh already knows that his challenge to Nestoro's title will be hampered by the quality of the new opposition in the division, but I am sure he has some tricks up his sleeve for this season.

Position Prediction
1st Warriors
2nd Convicts
3rd Marshes
4th Bulldogs

and now

AC South

Budapest Wolves managed by janos - 8th Season
1.1 record 75-37
Joburg Brawlers managed by Nelson777 - 4th Season
1.1 record 32-16
Landru Athletics managed by notsch - 8th Season
1.1 record 104-8
Division Winners Seasons 2,3,4,5,6,7 & 8
Super Bowl Winners Seasons, 2,4,5,6 & 7
Superheroes on Vacation managed by xubtube - 2nd Season
1.1 record 7-9

Budapest Wolves, much to be disappointed about. An unbalanced squad that will struggle by not be able to cover their offensive or defensive lines.
Joburg Brawlers will be looking to get back at the Athletics again this season, but will also need to win more conference and inter-conference games if they want to make the play offs.
Landru Athletics, notsch no longer the master? No still the premier team of Thunder 1.1, but does he have an achilles heal now?
Superheroes on Vacation (SHoV) had a good rookie season and will look to develop further during this season.

Postion Prediction

1st Athletics
2nd Brawlers
3rd SHoV
4th Wolves

and finally today

AC West

Canco Hunters managed by Canco - 8th Season
1.1 record 69-43
Division Winners Seasons 2,3,4 & 5
Dolphins Pisa managed by Magiclion - 7th Season
1.1 record 44-52
Texas Roadrunners managed by LMajor7 - 6th Season
1.1 record 33-47
Vienna Falcon managed by wisengrund - 6th Season
1.1 record 49-31
Division Winners Seasons 6,7 & 8

Canco Hunters will be looking to continue their turnaround this season and look to post their first win season since season 6.
Dolphins Pisa will hope their end of season luck changes and that they come out on top for a change.
Texas Roadrunners had a superb return to this division last season and will look not to have the losing streak like last season, which cost them a play off spot.
Vienna Falcons keep finding away to get to the top by the last game of the season and will look for another crack in the play offs this season.

Position Predictions

1st Falcons
2nd Pisa
3rd Roadrunners
4th Hunters.

In the AC, the team still to beat is the Athletics. The Falcons nearly got there last year and will be the Athletics main challengers. Don't be surprised to see the possibility of rookies Marshes and Nation making the play offs and that the AC West not being decided until the last game of the regular season again. We could also see close runs on the AC East and the AC North, but the AC South is Athletics for the taking again this season, however if his divisional competition can find his achilles heel then there is always the possibility of an upset.

I wish good luck to you guys on the AC side of the league and will be back later this week with my look on the NC side of the league.

once again great job Bova. I would have to agree with like 95% of your predictions and the AC west will be the most competive I think as they are all evenly matched just like the NC North what is always an interesting division.
