Budapest Wolves vs. Chelsea Nation
Call me nostalgic. This is the cinderella story, and I don't care about objective assessment at this point. The Pest always were a weird team with an amazing talent level but completely bonkers roster setup with tons of OOPPs and stuff, and for years it didn't matter. Once well built teams started gameplanning against them it did, and this year they adjusted to the fact. If they can open up the strengths of their roster, they are nigh unstoppable, and I remember those 0:77 trashings I got from them 5 years ago.

Quarry Bay Raiders vs. SimKonville Fraggles
Quarry has the talent, but the Fraggles have the heart. This was one of thee marquee matchups in the years of the bottleneck of Thunder 2.1 and to see the battle it out on this stage is a great testament to how tough that division was back then, but I think the tide has turned a bit. The Fraggles are 15-1, that does not happen by accident.

Slavia Pankrác vs. Styrian Bears
Last year the Bears were stunned by a high rolling Slavia playoff massacre, but look at the year before, where the talent gap was actually wider: Slavia needed a 4th QT comeback and missed FGs to win by two points in the CC game. The Bears remember this of course, and they know what worked and what didn't work. I don't know anybody who scouts their own mistakes better than Buddy Ryan, so I expect him to adjust.

Vienna Falcons vs. Landru Athletics
So, while I do see an Austrian CC Game, the Bowl is a different topic. ;-)

Sorry guys, but the austrien bowl this season is 'just' the NC Championship game

But all my respects to the Falcons...they were well prepared, fought like hell and with 2 d#-TDs, 5 lead-changes and a game-deceicive FG with under three minutes to go that was really an epic game

And now the Athletics have to fave the Chelsea Nation in hostile territory...it is not getting easier

Great win by the Nation - your running game was the difference.
Fraggles have great win vs old nemesis.
Once I saw the Bears running game starting to work I thought the Pankrác's chances of a repeat were slim.
And what a classic between the Falcons and the Athletics - looks like the Falcons should have run a little more.

So Athletics vs Nation - - - - > intriguing. And can the Fraggles stop the Bears outside running?

Can anyone stop anyone's outside running?

Vienna.

A good performance from my whole team today and tried a couple of new things on offence which thankfully seemed to work most of the time.

Now for a big game with Landru. Two in form teams and if its anything like our game 2 seasons ago in the supercup, it is going to be a very tight game.

seriously what a joke. I-formation averaging over 10 yards a run against my 3-4-4. if I lose because of this I will be pissed off.

oh i didn't realise if you look at the results in the league you can see the full time result even though im still playing OT. That saves me time watching this as I have found out I have lost.

mistake of mine not kicking fg late on and Ive learned that the 3-4-4 is as bad as the dime against the run. 11 yard average run against it.

the dream is over, until next season.
should be an interesting final.
