This new season's draft list look to be pretty disappointing again on first glance.

Again WAY too many QBs!
Only 9 OL?? Some teams probably have 9 OL on their depth chart!

The initial positional setup for a draft reflects the needs of the teams...then the RNG kicks in, and makes it a cointoss if the positional distribution comes true or get changed. That, and the fact that a D3 draft is different to a D1 draft makes it hard to "solve" the position distribution.

Really? So, it kind of checks the 32 teams positional breakdown and decides how many of each position from there? That's kinda cool!

If so, it probably explains why so little OL. My best coach is OL, so every youth or new player training strength is listed as OL. Throws off the total a little bit.
