What do you run if you don't have a down & distance rule set for the current down & distance?

So it just randomly chooses, it doesn't factor in down or distance.

Thanks, Steve No doubt...and it is getting worse if you are without any defense playbook, because your guys will go for 4-3-4 all the time. Keep in mind: if no playbook is set, the engine checks for match settings. If no match settings were stored, it checks for default match settings. I have a problem:
I dont have much WR - because i dont want to play 4WR Formation See i correct - example: -> i can not build a play book and say -> play on 3rd down pass but not 4WR Set but other sets in random? |

No, sorry. You have to choose a formation to avoid the 4WR shotgun. Or set "any" and live with the chance of getting it from time to time. |

Complex PlayBook -> yes is But not available: "do not play" button Result: makes PlayBook more complex because need to put lot of lines with different things in to have variation of play example i wrote well - i think this is why people say "life is like a box of chocolate..." |

you could avoid any setting regarding 3rd down in your playbook, then the match settings will be taken into account. There you set pass shotgun2WR as example....but this means then ON EVERY 3RD DOWN |

The playbook is far from perfect.
I think every situation managers are running and don't know what to do or where they have to setup a weaker solution should be discussion, so Peter can see, where the playbook needs improvement. Your situation is a perfect example! |
