Sounds to me like someone bought into the Browns hype of the preseason. Most astonishing thing to me this weekend was Arizona fighting back to a tie. Can't figure out if they were suddenly good, or if Detroit was just being...well...Detroit.

I didnt buy in to the hype or jumped on the bandwagon. I am a browns fan. I also have watched every single game in the 0-16 season.

But 182 penalty yards? what the ....

I am not sold on the Browns until they strengthen that OL, there is clearly a lot of talent on the roster overall and they have a lot of pieces. The other problem I foresee if they have a lot of Alpha Dog personality types. It's the potential for a combustible mix if things are not going right.

Dont get the negativaty on the oline

according to, whats his name, of next gen stats they won 71% of their pass protection blocks

league average is 57%

Things didnt get bad untill number1 LT got ejected, his replacement got injured a couple of snaps later. Then the RT had to move over to LT and a guy who is around for a couple of days had to play

The fastest sack the titans had was 4 seconds... thats a long time. Baker held the ball to long a couple of times

No, I am not yet worried at all. The only thing I am worried about are the 18 penalties. Thats what killed them. nothin more, nothin less

How about them Bucs!

Our defense has only given up 1 TD in the 1st two games,

of course our offense has given up 2...

Steelers were one of the teams, besides Buccaneers and Giants, i thought after week 1, will have a new starting QB next season. Not due to injuries, but more to the fact that they dont belong anymore (imho).

Man, did Ben looked old out there; mobility of a phone booth.
Jameis Winston, omg, his potential left the building years ago, too bad, his ego is still there.
And Eli, will they really let him finish the season? (edit: just saw the "news": Daniel Jones named starter week 3, lol).

However, has anyone seen week 2, Bears vs Broncos ... i mean to the end?

I've seen it. That roughing the passer call essentially gave the Bears a chance to win. I mean - I had watched that action multiple times and I still didn't see anything close to roughing the passer. The defender clearly hit the qb while he was holding the ball. To me, it was a clean hit.

Can see why they threw the flag (hug "technique", landing on the passer with full body weight, etc.). Hated the newly adjusted RTP rule more last year, when the refs really struggled to figure that out.

Cam "Witwe Bolte" Newton, imo, just needs a rest to fully recover ... and definitely a new hair stylist. Maybe done for the season, but not for the Panthers overall, i'd guess.

You're right about the "hug" technique, but, for me at least, it seems like the refs are pretty inconsistent in calling rtp while "hug" technique is used.

Anyway, it's a shame that NFL doesn't have some sort of Sky Judge like AAF used to have.

But I gotta admit that I'm surprised that the Lions won with the Chargers.
