I got it
High QB % completion and low average passing yards allowed sounds like the problem is in short passing plays Interesting to see if better safeties can help. |

Thats what I always thought.(that S did not do much). But now I am wondering if pass Defense is looked at more as a whole. In other words, it may not be your WR/QB vs. my CB to determine a completion. It may be more your WR/QB vs. My Defensive backfield. S, CB and LB. possibly its their combined rating that is more influential in pass completion. I know Line play is somewhat influenced by the entire line. Anyhow I think I will bring my S skill level up to 39/40 and see if it makes a difference. It will increase salaries, but if it works I can build a better D.

Good luck Steve. I do not see a scenario in which I will play on Thursday, yet I hope to give you a decent fight.

Good game Steve. The fight lasted 1 quarter only, but the best team won, and that’s what matters. Good luck for next round.

I was getting nervous down 10 and missing that first FG....but the team rebounded.
Good luck next season! Steve SD Blitz |

I think pass defense rankings track yardage, not completion percentage - - I think having low/high ranking in pass defense is mostly an indication of the preferences of you opposition.

Congrats to Helsinki on the strong Super Cup run....I got out to a pretty good lead and they fought back to make it somewhat close.
First play interception resulted in a quick 7 points for the Blitz. Offense was just clicking after that..."Little" Timmy Packer 78% completion percent, 330 yards passing & 2 TDs and JJ Ricketts had 115 yards rushing & 1TD. San Diego defense always comes to play. 6th Super Cup championship for the Blitz - - tied with Landru for the most (I think). Wilmersdorf has five I think.... Steve SD Blitz |
