Yes, so did I. Well played, well played. On a performance like this your team will go far. The key things as far as I'm concerned were your 4th down conversions and then your interception of us on your 2 yd line when we were looking to pick up a comfortable lead.

As soon as you got the lead I thought it was over. For some reason my QB seemed to have tons of incompletions in this game which didn't help. I couldn't believe it when we came back to tie. We did try to give you the game in O/T by being totally useless on our first possession but thankfully our D stepped up to get that crucial INT.

Best of luck going forward. You deserve it!

Great prediction write up. Thanks for spending the time to put that together.

I'm a little down on my team this season. After getting annihilated by the Istanbul Whitings in the supercup and being dominated on both sides by the Knights I needed to change something up. Hopefully the name change does that. The Social Distance Runners and The Confined Ducks inspired the switch.

Good game West Geatish. Was shocked to be leading in the first place, but we managed to pick six it away.

Well last game was a bit too close for comfort. I was on tenterhooks throughout. Of course it didn't help that I forgot to set my playbook
Too long in lockdown

Saw other leagues doing some power rankings + quarantine boredom + halfway through the season, figured I'd add some flavor here in Monarchs. Nothing is meant to be flaming or offensive and I fully expect this to add a little target on my back, so be it. I don't take team rating into account, just who you've played and those outcomes.

Before I begin, special thanks to Gator for doing the mid season predictions the last couple seasons.

1. Torchwood Aliens 8-0 - A last minute tie and OT victory against those pesky Krakens, and another close victory over the Owls gives him 2 top 10 quality wins. The only question left is will the Gators keep them from another undefeated Monarchs 1 season?

2. Paxtang Black Panthers 8-0 - Other than a strong victory over the lions, they haven't had any real games yet. That is changing soon with tough games against the Kraken, Bulls, Owls, and even the dangerous Malacok.

3. West Geatish Warriors 7-0 - An early win against the Bulls and a close one against the Marauders slots the Geatish at number 3. The Lions are seemingly their last obstacle for an undefeated season.

4. Space Kraken 7-1 - These guys are the classic overperform regular season, choke in the playoffs. A crazy OT loss to the aliens and a strong win against arch-rival Owls sticks them in the top 5. That's likely to change with 3 more challenges, the Panthers, Marauders, and a rematch with those bloodthirsty, savage, revenge seeking Owls.

5. Bradford Bulls 6-1 - A close win against the Lions* slots the Bulls inside the top 5. Their schedule is pretty easy this season. Cross conference with the Panthers and a rematch with the Lions could determine who wins the division.

6. Poznan Knights 7-1 - Are the Knights for real?! A really good win against the Pre/Home Malones, but the real test is the two games at the end of the season against division rival Gators.

7. Home Malones 6-1 - Expect this slot to be quite volatile. A win against the Bruisers slips them right outside the top 5, but the real challenge is coming with games against the Marauders next week, and a rematch with the Brusiers the following week.

8. Midnight Marauders 7-1 - Same as above, a tough loss against Geatish and a few tough games upcoming will move this team around quite a bit in the coming weeks.

9. Park Ridge Owls 5-2 - Don't let the "cute" name fool you. Owls are vicious and deadly. 1 score losses to both the Aliens and Kraken put this team right in the mix come end of season. The remaining schedule isn't exactly Owl friendly with matches against the Panthers, Bruisers, and a Kraken rematch. They'll still beat the Kraken in the postseason.

10. Burnaby Bruisers 4-3 - Got pretty unlucky losing to a great team right before they go bot. Following that, losses to the Lions and Malones drops the Bruisers but a win against the Gators keeps them in the bottom of the top 10. Would not be surprised if they are playing opossum and make a run to the conference championship.

11. Florida Gators 5-2 - Another team with an unlucky schedule losing to a now bot team. I'm not sure that will matter much as their whole schedule is tough. Possibly the hardest schedule out there. Already lost to the Bruisers, with follow ups against the Aliens, Malones, Lions, and a rematch against the Knights. This team will still be a wild card team that no one will want to play.

12. St. Leo University Lions 5-2 - The lions have a few tough games remaining with the Gators, Geatish, and Bulls coming up. The rest of the schedule is quite tame. If they can steal 1-2 of those wins, look out for this playoff spoiler AC.

13. Fehevari Malacok 5-3 - My top team to miss the playoffs, and our lone Hungarian representative in Monarchs + a name I can't pronounce. They've made strides end of last season and so far this season and can be a dangerous spoiler if overlooked. I expect them to be a playoff team next year.

14. Osler Rotties 3-4 - Here's my top spoiler team for the season. This team has improved quite a bit through the first half and it shows over the last few games. He'll put that to the test with possibly the hardest remaining schedule. Games against the Malonesx2, Gators, Malacok, and Bruisersx2.

15. SARMIS 3-4 - Our long term Romanian coach has opportunities to stay on top of this group with games against Birney and the Eastern Wolves.

I'll know more about what our new teams have to offer once they start playing eachother rather that beating bots and getting blanked by established teams.

16. Eastern Wolves 4-3 - They beat birney, that's what gets them top 16 ahead of all the rest. They play SARMIS later in the season which will give us a better gauge.

17. Minutemen 3-4 - They scored against the Kraken, Rotties, and Lions. Hopefully they keep up the improvement while playing the Panthers, Owls, Marauders, and Bulls.

18. birney's weekenders 2-5 - Great team name, a loss to the Eastern Wolves sticks them near the bottom. They can redeem themselves with wins against the Rotties and SARMIS.

19. Granite State Grey Wolves 5-2 - They haven't scored against a human opponent yet, and that might not change with remaining games against the Knights, Aliensx2, and Owls.

Good luck to everyone except the Owls for the rest of the season.

Enjoy the pandemic!

Another great writeup! Keep them coming!
However I'd like to add that I'm yet to lose in a league match against the Bulls. I guess you ment the Lions

Absolutely right! Thank you. Fixed. With that corrected information I'd drop them below you, but I'll wait and see what happens in the coming weeks.
