Anxious for the big game against InglisDrever and his Oulton Estrellas today. Have messaged back and forth a few times and must say, he seems like a heck of a nice guy. I'm REALLY hoping the old adage remains true: "nice guys finish last!" Lol. Good luck, sir.

After joining the Galaxy League, Dream and Grind won the NC South in Season 38. The youngsters at Be Phenomenal Stadium currently hold the 2nd best point differential in the league at 338 lead by #2 Galaxy running back Victor Pages with 892 yards and 10 touchdowns. Complimenting him is #8 running back Hunter Modise with 668 yards on the season. Formerly called The Wall at the outset of season 38, Dream and Grind found it’s new name mid-season and made a strong run for the rest of the season, finding themselves in the Wildcard Playoff matchup against beergut’s now defunct Wallace Wildcats. Was Losky dreaming of his team appearing in the post season? Did they grind through the season to get there? Is this the inspiration for their name? The name obviously means something deeper for Losky’s team than just one season. It represents their front office philosophy. Quarterback Gillou Ricks, who still starts regularly along side Esteban Vargas, was picked up along with two players no longer with the team. The total dollars spent that season on free agents? $217,500 Those days must have been when Losky was Dreaming, because for the next two seasons, team Dream and Grind put in work, Grinding through free agency. They acquired a complete roster of 54 players. The financial sum of this collection of players based on solid physicals, intelligence and teamwork? $121,000,000 Not veterans either. The current average age of their seniors is 21.8 years. This team barely old enough to drink alcohol, is talented enough to not lose a single game. After nine games this season, Losky and Dream and Grind are undefeated. They face their biggest test this week against Bretzfeld Bandit’s 8 time MVP Jesus Torres, Galaxy’s #1 Quarterback with 3301 yards and 47 touchdowns. The Bandits have a hold on the NC North by just one game, with the Deimon Devil Bats hovering; waiting to swoop in and take the division into their fiery clutches should the Bandits falter. For new GM’s, or teams contemplating an overhaul, taking notes on Losky’s approach to team building is a wise move. His shrewd approach to staying young, training fully, and staying disciplined will pay off for Dream and Grind for years to come. Watching the team’s inevitable takeover of Galaxy, and eventual ascent to Elite, is inspiring for any team daring to dream, and willing to grind to make it happen. Other notable games this week:
