How much time does it take for the extra training points that i've added/assigned to some of my youth squad players to be finished, roughly speaking? For instance, i added 10 points to one of my players agility this morning, he has 12 points and i'm adding 10, so how long will it take for him to acquire them all? Days, weeks, months? Thank you.

Instantly.
But 10 training points are only 0.1 points on the skill.
100 training points = 1 full skill point

On a personal note, I'm not a fan of breaking up points like such. If I have 180 points, for example, I tend to spend it all on one players skill at one time.

I'm not against breaking it up, but if I were, to see a difference about 50 to 100 points minimum.

So now I'm beginning to suspect that I should focus my training points on just a few, or maybe only one or two, of my best youth academy prospects, players with high talent and preferably high teamwork and intelligence too?

Yes.

This is how I do it, with full coach setup and premium youth acadamy.

Get 16 year old players in a season, with values which look promising.
Train them to physical caps, which takes roughly 1 - 2 seasons.
Then start training general skills, like vis or pos.
Once they reach 19 to 20 I push those who will not reach the wanted skill level on the designated position with YA-points, first those I have no facility in, then, if needed, the rest.

Example:
I have a 19 year old player, designed to become a DL.
I want VIS, POS, AGI, TAC and FOO at value 28+ when he ends the season he is 20 years old. So basically all skills summed up to 140 points.
I do expact 20 points skill training per season, he will reach 120 points when he turns 21 just by training.
Hence 20 points are missing. I get 1.5 points (150 YA-points per training) in average per update, so he will get (i call that 'pushing') 14 trainings with YA-points, so 21 points.
I usually plan this roughly when they get 19 and I do adjust the numbers during the season or next season.

I had a look at stats for a game today and while most are straight forward, one section had me a bit puzzled on how to interpret it.
Getting into team stats there are 2 items on Playbook Coverage for Off and Def. I get that 65/65 may be good (or not) and vice versa for 33/80 but what does this mean?

Each play is selected based on game settings and playbook.
The priority is that way. If for the certain situation a play in the playbook is available, that play is selected. If not, the game setting are selected.
The stat basically means:
for 65/65 is translated in 65 plays of 65 plays were selected based on playbook rules. So the engine never picked a play based on game settings.
for 33/80 is translated in 33 plays of 80 plays were selected based on playbook rules. In this case 47 plays were selected by game settings.
Whether that is a good or bad thing is up to you, since you better should know whether it was INTENDED to work that way, or not.

I have this 19 yo player in my youth academy with 5 stars of talent. But he has yellow capped his strength and speed at 38 and 39.1, respectively. This is with a level 20 scout, s I guess his final STR and Speed will be 43 and 44.1. He has a 49 INT and a 34 TW also. My question is, is that too low on STR and Speed for a long term player? Or does a player like this still have value? Since I have very little experience in these matters, I'm just kind of curious what is considered decent starting material? Thanks
